Abstract

Partnership and Community Development Program is an activity of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from PT. Telkom, Tbk. This activities are spread throughout Indonesia. In Java Island the largest partner is located in East Java, especially in Malang. The purpose of this study are: (1) to analyze the implementation of participatory communication strategy, (2) to analyze the influence of participatory communication strategy toward knowledge, attitudes and motivation of the assisted partners, and (3) to analyze the influence participatory communication strategy and learning observation of the behavior of the development partners. This research uses mixed method. The number of samples are 138 people chosen by a random sampling technique. The results showed that the implementation of participatory communication strategy has involved the partners in the process of identifying the problem, determining NOPS, and selecting the media and communication methods in PKBL Telkom activities. Participatory communication strategy positively affects the knowledge, attitude, and motivation of the assisted partners. The knowledge of the assisted partners, the attitudes of the assisted partners, the motivation of the assisted partners has a positive effect on the behavior of the assisted partners while the learning observation has a negative effect on the behavior of the development partners.

Abstract

The fishing industry plays a crucial role in Indonesia’s economy, particularly for coastal communities. Tangerang Regency has significant potential for capture fisheries; however, unsustainable exploitation practices threaten marine resources and ecosystems. This study aims to identify non-eco-friendly fishing gear, provide recommendations for policymakers, and determine strategies for developing sustainable fishing gear. The results indicate that garok and cantrang fishing gear are environmentally harmful as they damage seabed ecosystems and jeopardize fisheries sustainability. Additionally, bubu, jaring rampus, and bagan are classified as less environmentally friendly. Only handline fishing is considered environmentally sustainable. Developing this method can be achieved by modifying the number of fishing hooks to increase catch yields. Sustainable fisheries in Tangerang Regency require a diversification strategy, including replacing harmful fishing gear such as garok and cantrang, educating fishermen on sustainable fishing practices, and implementing strict monitoring to prevent destructive fishing activities.

Abstract

Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) Mina Samudera is one of the most rapidly growing cooperatives in Tangerang Regency, with a total membership of 9,877 people. This study was conducted in May 2017 at KUD Mina Samudera, Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, using descriptive statistical analysis, motivation theory, and SWOT analysis. KUD Mina Samudera operates four main business units: the Swamitra Mina Savings and Loan Unit (USP), Pesisir Store, Grameen Pesisir , and the Fishermen’s Fuel Station (SPDN). These business units have consistently increased their annual profits and provided significant benefits to fishermen, including financial support, logistics, fuel, and additional business opportunities for their wives. A growth and development strategy serves as an alternative approach for the cooperative by optimizing its financial strength, management, and existing business units. However, challenges remain, including limited access to information and location, low community participation, and the need for more competent human resources. To address these issues, improving cooperative accessibility, increasing member participation, and fostering collaboration with the government are essential to ensuring the sustainability and growth of the cooperative.

Abstract

Morse code is a code that is still used by ORARI and the Scout in communicating. LearnMorse code requires an understanding of the cues delivered because Morse code was notsubmitted as a visualization of dots and lines, but must understand the long and shortsignal of Morse code. Morse tree method is used to facilitate the deciphering Morse codemessage. The aim of this study is to apply the method in a binary search tree andimplements Morse on android platform in the form of short messages using Morse code.Methods of approach and the development of systems using object-oriented approachand waterfall method. Results from this study that to change or alter the text to Morsebe required text identification numbers used to trace the Morse tree with a binary searchtree method. The application of Morse code signaling carried out in the interval of 200milliseconds for every point. Binary tree search method can be applied in tracing theMorse tree and implemented on the android platform for deploying long and short signalMorse code.

Abstract

Currently the use of web-based applications in various fields is increasing. This is because the benefits are very large especially to spread the information widely. Many area are using web-based application such as medical and health, advertizement, education, and also in the field of government, especially the KPUD in order to provide services to the community. In this research, an analysis on the performance of KPUD website of Central Java province where the result is recommendation for improvement of performance of Use of CDN and Mobile Speed from website.

Abstract

Transnasional Crime as a from of crime that could potentially threaten the life of the community such as the economy, social orderl and security, both nationally and regionally. The development of transnational crime in Indonesia as the impact of globalization are also other factors relating to the movement of people from one country to another region or from one region to another. All these factors led to the emergence of transnational crime. Interpol is an internasional organization formed to handle transnational crimes. In handling transnasional crimes, Interpol has a global communication system (1-24/7) which is very effective in the exchange of information between Interpol member countries in dealing with transnasional crimes. Interpol also involves in effective cooperation in handling transnasional crimes through various notifications that are given by the Interpol, one through red notices. Develomment of a crime that was once a crime of corruption of national and derived from national law into internasional crime transnasional organized, because of corruption related to economic crime, as well as the joint can be fragile democracy in a country. Internasional cooperation is needed in order to combat crimes that are transnasional corruption.

Abstract

Big Data is data characterized by very large, very varied, fast-growing of data and may not need to be treated specially structured with innovative technology to obtain in-depth information and can help in making a better decision. The important things of Big Data is not just about technical capability to process data, but the benefits of its that can be realized by the company by using Big Data Analytics Terminology and it is believed come from web search company which process data the aggregation of distributed very large and unstructured. The challenge of Big Data includes the acquisition, accuracy of data, storage, search (search), the distribution, transfer, data analysis, and data visualization. The trend of Big Data is increasingly enlarged set of data caused by the increase of information from large sets of inter-related, compared with other small associations with the total number of the same data. One of the utilization of Big Data is a boost in sales with improved marketing strategy in matters such as: product campaigns, consumer segmentation and markets analysis, location-based marketing, sentiment analysis, personalized marketing and lure customers.

Abstract

This research discusses the framing of news done by Tempo magazine on 23 - 29 January 2017 issue in Habib Riziek case report which utilize positioning of religion figure in mass media as a tool of selling (commodity) to be able to invite public opinion and sense of community sentiment towards the character. The analytical methods used were Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. In analyzing, this method uses four structures that consist of, Structure Syntax is how journalists arrange events, Structure Scripts is how journalists tell or tell events into news form, Thematic Structure is how journalists express the views of events into propositions, sentences or relations Between sentences that make up the text as a whole, and the Rhetorical Structure that is the issue of Rizieq's interest in building his name that was vacuum among the wider community and in the mass media.

Abstract

Human activities are generating a lot of waste that can degrade the quality of the environment, oneof which is the activity of washing motorcycles and cars. Especially in the city of Karachi is growingrapidly and increasing the number of vehicles. So that the proliferation of motor and car washactivities. Therefore the need for handling of waste disposal of motor and car washing. One of thewastewater treatment of motor and car wash discharges is by filtration process with many usablemedia. For this writing the author uses silica sand media and activated carbon used in filtrationreactor. The goal is to reduce the levels of BOD, COD, TSS and pH. In this study the authors use areactor filtration by comparing two media between silica sand media and activated carbon with eachmedia distinguished height of 10 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm. The purpose of the treatment is to knowwhich media is better at lowering levels of pollution. In addition the authors want to know whetherthere is an influence of height in lowering levels of pollutants.

Abstract

Cooperative management in Koperia (Cooperative Citizens of Komplek Gandaria) to provide credit to customers is still based on process that is not objective and many still have problems. Therefore it is difficult in determining creditworthiness which is often experienced by cooperative management. The problems that arise in the cooperative is the payment of installments that often experience jams because of frequent delinquent. Where if many customers are delinquent in payment it will disrupt the company's financial system. Implementation of data mining in terms of data mining context is expected to provide a solution to determine the extension of creditworthiness to customers, by applying the process of classification on data mining using Algorithm C4.5, using data set attributes, Amount of Income, Total Balance, Amount of Loans, and Needs. The results of this research is to apply C4.5 algorithm to determine the feasibility of lending customers on the cooperative based on the attributes that have been determined to determine how to determine in the process of granting credit with the Attributes of Needs, Number of Loans, Total Income and Amount of Loans.
