Abstract

This study aims to disclose how the prime services provided by the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Section of Ministry of Religion in Pariaman Municipality affects the satisfaction of prospective pilgrims. This study offered quantitative data. The sample was taken using quota sampling. The research used primary data collected from respondents by distributing 93 questionnaires. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test assisted by SPSS 20 application. Based on the significance value of <0.01 or X 0.000 <0.01 for the relationship between the prime service variable (X) and the pilgrim’s satisfaction (Y), Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This indicated that prime service (x) was associated with pilgrim’s satisfaction (y). Based on this research’s findings, it could be inferred that the quality services provided by the Ministry of Religion in Pariaman Municipality influenced the prospective pilgrim’s satisfaction. Thus, it is recommended that the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Section keeps on improving their service quality to ensure that prospective pilgrims remain satisfied.

Abstract

This study explores the optimization of zakat distribution in Kudus City, focusing on the effects of poverty, income, and unemployment. Employing a quantitative research method and the analysis of secondary data, this investigation employs EViews 10 for the examination of pertinent variables. Results from Kudus City indicate that the "Number of Poor Population," income, and unemployment significantly affect the "Zakat Almsgiving Funds." Notably, there is a negative correlation with the "Number of Poor Population" and a positive correlation with income and unemployment levels. These outcomes offer crucial insights for policy formulation and the enhancement of zakat distribution efficacy.

Abstract

Human resource management plays an important role in how successful an organization or company can be. Human resource management is of utmost importance since it determines whether or not organizational goals can be achieved. One of such organizations with goals to achieve is BAZNAS of Depok Municipality with its Rice ATM program. It is a program to distribute rice that requires human resources to play some role in its implementation. Therefore, the existing human resources must be managed well to achieve its objectives. This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Such research attempts to interpret and describe the existing data. This research aims to find out the implementation, procedures and human resource management (HRDM) in BAZNAS’s Rice ATM program in Depok Municipality. The data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. This research found that human resources were managed fairly well in the Rice ATM program in procurement and planning. This was shown by the fact that Depok Municipality BAZNAS could cooperate and collaborate with the Zakat Collection Units (UPZ). However, the program’s maintenance and evaluation were still weak. On how it was implemented, BAZNAS would provide the rice ATMs and the program would be run by UPZs. Thanks to this mechanism, the rice assistance could be distributed more quickly to the community, making it easier to achieve the goal.

The research employed a qualitative approach to analyze information technology risks in online Umrah passport registration. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis revealed that risks in online passport registration for Umrah pilgrims include data security risks, system vulnerability risks to cyber-attacks, network infrastructure failure risks that could disrupt online access, data processing errors risks, and application vulnerability risks to hacking. Mitigation measures include enhancing data security through encryption and strong access control, implementing appropriate security measures to reduce cyber-attack risks, conducting regular data backups to anticipate system failures, improving staff training and awareness on data processing, and performing regular security updates.

Abstract

This research examines different productive waqf management models in Indonesia. The study used a qualitative approach, focusing on literature. The findings revealed that the most commonly-implemented productive waqf management model was the productive investment one, which involved land and building rentals. In second place was the profit-sharing financing model, which included collaborations with third parties such as cooperatives, outsourcers, and other institutions. The study also identified the social infrastructure development model, by which buildings such as schools and places of worship were built. The variations in productive waqf management models in Indonesia, as found in this study, were still relatively low when compared to the strategic productive waqf land categorization compiled by the Directorate of Waqf Empowerment. This highlights the need for the Indonesian Waqf Board to develop strategies to increase the ratio of productive waqf at national and sub-national levels, which will eventually lead to the rise of the National Waqf Index.
