Abstract

Business performance was always associated with small and medium scale businesses durability. Wedding Organizer (WO) Business was a seasonal business with poor durability characteristic due to wedding events fluctuation. WO business role was crucial both helping and organizing wedding event that is ussualy needed by the bride and groom in their wedding. This study aimed to analyze the impact of organizational learning on business performance and use collaboration and business diversification as mediating variable in Semarang Wedding Organizer. Research approach used quantitative research method. This research type is an explanatory research in explaining factors that affect business performance. This study took a sample 43 respondents who run Wedding Organizer business in Semarang City by convenience sampling method. Data was collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement with five measurement scales. Data analysis method uses 3-stage multiple regression using SPSS 20. The results of this study proved that organizational learning affects collaboration, organizational learning affects business performance; Organizational learning does not affect business diversification, collaboration affects business performance and diversification does not affect business performance. The mediation test also explained that collaboration was successful as a mediating variable on research conducted at Semarang Wedding Organizer. This result also give a new concept called collaboration-based project strategy.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has had an impact on the ethical joints of Muslims in this modern era. To anticipate the complexities of modern society, the da'i must prepare da'wah strategies and materials that are more directed at anticipating the tendency of society. Modernization in the midst of onslaught and globalization that takes place very quickly and it is difficult to predict the direction of the da'i must be carried out continuously effectively. This study aims to review effective da'wah strategies in the midst of changing da'wah dynamics. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with the data collection technique is literature study. The literature study method is an activity related to the method of collecting library data, reading and taking notes and managing research materials. The results of the study indicate that da'wah can play an active role in the modern era if the da'i as a preacher is can participate development of the times so that da'wah as an illuminator is able to give a role to a society that deifies science and technology. In addition, da'i in modern life, da'wah must be directed to mad'u with the "bil wisdom wal mauizah hasanah" approach and with the use of media (bi al-tadwin). This step is also balanced with the da'i -both individuals and groups who qualified, have broad knowledge and insight, master da'wah materials, methods, and media that are appropriate and relevant to the conditions and progress of modern society they face.***Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah membawa dampak berarti pada sendi-sendi etika umat Islam di zaman modern ini. Untuk mengantisipasi kompleksitas masyarakat modern da’i harus mempersiapkan strategi dan materi dakwah yang lebih mengarah pada antisipasi sebagai kecenderungan masyarakat.  Di tengah terpaan modernisasi dan globalisasi yang berkembang sangat cepat dan sulit untuk di tebak arahnya da’i harus dilakukan secara terus menerus secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau strategi dakwah yang efektik ditengah-tengah dinamika dakwah yang terus berubah. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literature. Metode studi literature adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengelola bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah dapat berperan aktif di era modern jika da’I sebagai pendakwah mampu ikut serta dalam perkembangan zaman sehingga dakwah sebagai penerang mampu memberi peran pada masyarakat yang mendewakan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Selain itu da’I dalam kehidupan modern, dakwah harus berorientasi kepada mad'u dengan pendekatan "bil hikmah wal mauizah hasanah dan dengan pemanfaatan media (bi al-tadwin). Langkah tersebut juga dimbangi dengan para da'I baik individu maupun kelompok yang berkualitas, mempunyai pengetahuan serta wawasan yang luas, menguasai materi atau pesan dakwah, metode, dan media yang tepat dan relevan dengan kondisi dan kemajuan masyarakat modern yang dihadapinya.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze halal purchase intention that is mediated by halal technology implementation on packaging product in Semarang City, Indonesia. This analysis tried to build the concept of consumer behavior based on Islamic branding technology. The research model was developed through research variables to fill existing research gap between halal awareness and halal purchase intention by halal technology implementation. This technology able to detect halal label validated by MUI that is expected to mediate both variable.Research approach used quantitative approach. Data was collected by survey questionnaire methods for packaging product’s consumer in Semarang. This research used purposive sampling to obtain 100 consumers as data observation. SEM analysis was used to analyze the data through running Smart PLS 3.2.8 for Professional application for hypothesis testing.The finding presented that Consumer Behavior based on Islamic Branding Technology Concept is proven. It is proved by significant mediating effect between halal awareness to halal purchase intention through halal technology implementation (0.016). Other result proved that halal awareness has insignificant value on halal purchase intention of packaging product in Semarang (0.412), halal awareness has significant value on halal technology implementation (0.000) and halal technology implementation has significant value on halal purchase intention (0.011).

Abstract

Decision making in financial budgetary on birocrat institution is very important. This study aims to determine the factors that can improve the decision making Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kendal in financial budgetary. The independent variables in this study are emotional intelligence and profesionalism and the dependent variable is decision making with inovatif behavior as a mediating variable. This study uses quantitative methods by using questionnaires to collect the required data. The sample in this study were 89 employees of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kendal. The analysis used is a structural equation model (SEM) analysis using the SmartPLS analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that the emotional intelligence and profesionalism directly affect to decision making. Inovatif behavior also affects to decision making. Emotional intelligence affect to inovatif behavior but it is not affected by profesionalism. Inovatif behavior successs as a mediating variable to mediate the influence of emotional intelligence to decision making.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Taxation is the agency responsible for managing state revenues through Service Offices in each region. Employees who work in the tax service office are required to perform well for the benefit of the institution. This study serves to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and competency on the performance of East Semarang Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) employees with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as a mediating variable. This study used a quantitative method using a questionnaire to collect the data. The sample in this study is 108 obtained through the census method. The analysis used to process the data is regression analysis with SPSS 16. The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence, competence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior affect employee performance. Emotional Intelligence and Competence also influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Furthermore, Organizational Citizenship Behavior is able to mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and competency on employee performance.

Abstract

Employees who work in the tax service office are required to perform well for the benefit of the institution espescially to increase state revenue. This study purpose to analyze the relationship between procedural and distributive justice on the employee’s performance of Salatiga Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) with Employee engagement as a mediating variable. This study used a quantitative method using a questionnaire to collect the data. The sample in this study is 105 obtained through the census method. The analysis used to process the data is regression analysis with SPSS 25. The results of this study indicate that procedural justice, distributive justice and Employee engagement affect employee performance. Procedural justice and distributive justice also influence Employee engagement. Furthermore, Employee engagement is able to mediate the relationship between procedural justice and distributive justice on employee performance.

Abstract

This study purposes to identify the factors that can improve employee performance. The independent variables in this study are career development and job stress, and the dependent variable is performance with job satisfaction as the intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative method using a questionnaire to collect the required data. The sample in this study were 88 KPP Pratama Batang employees. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data analysis method uses regression analysis which is processed using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that Career Development has positive significance effect on Job Satisfaction, Work Stress has negative significance effect on Job Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction has an effect on Employee Performance, Career Development has no effect on Employee Performance, Work Stress has no effect on Employee Performance, Career Development has positive significance effect on Employee Performance mediated by satisfaction work, and work stress affects employee performance mediated by job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine factors that can improve employee performance at the Semarang Candisari Pratama Tax Service Office. The independent variable in this research is mutation and the dependent variable is employee performance with normative commitment and extrinsic motivation as mediating variables. This research uses quantitative methods using questionnaires to collect the required data. The sample in this study was 72 employees taken using the census sampling method. The analysis used was structural equation model (SEM) analysis using the SmartPLS analysis tool. The results of this research show that mutation and normative commitment have a significant positive effect on employee performance, but extrinsic motivation does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Mutations have also been proven to influence normative commitment and extrinsic motivation. The normative commitment variable functions to mediate the relationship between mutation and employee performance.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Taxation is the agency responsible for managing state revenues through Service Offices in each region. Employees who work in tax service offices are required to perform well for the benefit of the agency. This research functions to analyze the relationship between modernization of tax administration and job rotation on the performance of the Account Representative (AR) of the Madya Semarang Tax Service Office (KPP) with Motivation as a mediation variable.This research uses quantitative approach that use questionnairy to collect the necessary data. The sample in this study was 48, obtained through the census method. The analysis used to process the data is path analysis with SmartPLS software. The results show that whether the presence or the unpresent of Tax Administration Modernization or not, ARs are still required to perform according to the standards set by the agency and are still required to work optimally after receiving the job rotation decision. Modernization of Tax Administration can increase AR motivation. AR motivation tends to be stable after employees are rotated to a new place, but high motivation can increase AR performance significantly. The findings in this research show that optimal Tax Administration Modernization can improve AR performance supported by high AR motivation.

Abstract

AbstrakPekerjaan sangat dibutuhkan semua orang untuk membiayai kebutuhan sehari-hari dan menjaga kelangsungan kehidupannya. Bagi sebagian orang, melakukan suatu pekerjaan tidak hanya untuk mendapatkan pendapatan agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidup, akan tetapi juga sarana untuk menyalurkan hobi, berkarya sesuai dengan keinginan hati sehingga pekerjaan menjadi salah satu kenikmatan hidup dan menjadi lebih bermakna tidak hanya secara personal bagi diri sendiri, tetapi juga bermanfaat bagi keluarga serta lingkungan sekitarnya.Dalam menjalankan manajemen dan operasionalnya sehari-hari, setiap perusahaan membutuhkan peraturan kepengawaian yang harus dilaksanakan oleh seluruh karyawan dan pengusaha agar dapat berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan. Undang-undang No. 13 tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan (UUK) atau sering disebut dengan UU Naker telah menjelaskan megenai kebutuhan tersebut. UUK merupakan pokok dasar hukum dalam pembuatan peraturan-peraturan kepegawaian dalam suatu perusahaan. Hal yang selalu menjadi perhatian bagi kalangan pekerja adalah masalah kesejahteraan dan perlindungan pekerja yang diberikan perusahaan kepada pekerjanya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum dalam bidang ketenagakerjaan yang menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi peraturan perlindungan pekerja, pengupahan pekerja, dan kesejahteraan pekerja dalam UU No.13 Tahun 2003 sudah dilaksanakan. Sedangkan rekomendasi yang diberikan penelitian ini adalah: (1) bagi pekerja diharapkan menjaga kedisiplinan dan mematuhi peraturan yang ditentukan perusahaan, (2) bagi pemerintah diharapkan dapat memberikan bekal yang memadai bagi pekerja terhadap pengetahuan dasar tentang ketenagakerjaan, (3) bagi perusahaan diharapkan untuk melengkapi peraturan kepegawaian yang sudah dibuat agar menjadi lebih baik. Kata kunci: Implementasi Perlindungan, Pengupahan, Kesejahteraan Pekerja
