Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance public understanding of the importance of voting rights in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada), involving the active role of higher education institutions through the three pillars of collaboration. The event was attended by one hundred lecturers lecturers from the Forum of Communication of Lecturers (FKD) across West Java, discussing the importance of book publication as an educational medium for young voters on democracy and voting rights. The implementation method included preparation, interactive execution, and evaluation through post-event discussions. The participants showed high enthusiasm, asking numerous questions related to textbook writing strategies, publisher selection, citation improvement, collaboration between higher education institutions, and book marketing strategies. As a result, the event not only provided education on the importance of creating textbooks and reference books but also raised lecturers' awareness of their role in facilitating political and democratic education. It also opened opportunities for collaboration to expand the impact of democratic education through informative and sustainable textbook publications.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era demands synergy between the advancement of intelligent technologies and human values to create an inclusive and sustainable society. In the context of community service, technology-driven and empathy-based professionalism becomes a key strategy to address the complexities of modern societal needs. Professionalism supported by digital literacy, artificial intelligence, and big data analysis enables more effective innovative solutions. However, technology must be accompanied by an empathetic approach that places humans at the center, ensuring every intervention is relevant to local needs and contributes to collective well-being. Through this theme, presented via a national webinar, community service programs are directed towards enhancing adaptive skills, critical thinking, and lifelong learning while promoting the values of empathy and collaboration. The Bali Lecturer Communication Forum organized a national webinar aimed at equipping participants—academics, practitioners, and the general public—with relevant knowledge and skills to utilize technology in addressing modern challenges and to foster the development of human resources that are not only professionally competent but also socially compassionate. The program aspires to create community services that strengthen empathy and humanity, emphasizing the importance of empathy in utilizing technology to understand and meet societal needs more personally and effectively. Multidisciplinary collaboration is encouraged, inviting professionals from various fields to synergize and create greater impact in community service. All innovations and services are directed to support sustainable development, striking a balance between technological innovation and humanistic approaches to maximize social impact in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

The 2024 Regional Election socialization activity involving the Forum of Lecturer Communication (FKD) of West Java served as an interactive platform to address critical issues related to increasing public participation and ensuring electoral integrity. With a keynote speaker from the General Election Commission (KPU) of Bandung City, participants gained in-depth insights into the adverse effects of money politics on the quality of democracy. This discussion resulted in several strategic solutions, such as enhancing political literacy through the role of lecturers, strengthening community-based election monitoring, and utilizing technology for reporting violations.The collaboration between KPU, academics, and civil society was identified as a key element in overcoming challenges in the 2024 Regional Elections. FKD lecturers committed to leveraging their role as educators to disseminate the values of clean democracy to younger generations. The outcomes of this activity are expected to serve as a foundation for concrete actions supporting more transparent, participatory, and dignified elections, thereby contributing positively to the sustainability of democracy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Mastery of data processing technology has become increasingly important, particularly in the data-driven field of economics. EViews is one of the widely used software for statistical and econometric data analysis. This training aims to enhance students' technological literacy in using EViews to support economic self-reliance through improved analytical skills. The activity was conducted offline over two days, involving 50 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, comprising accounting and management students from Asstafi'iyah Islamic University. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in students' understanding of data processing and their ability to perform regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and economic forecasting. A total of 80% of the participants were able to effectively operate EViews for economic data analysis. This training had a positive impact in preparing students for the workforce and increasing their independence in handling data processing independently.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) aims to improve financial literacy among high school students in Aceh through financial management education using digital applications. Financial literacy is crucial for young people to help them manage money wisely, especially in the digital era. The program was held on September 9, 2024, involving 50 students who participated in training sessions covering financial literacy materials, digital financial application simulations, and group discussions. The implementation method includes preparation, interactive execution, and evaluation, interspersed with ice-breaking activities throughout the program to create a fun learning atmosphere, boost motivation, and encourage active participation from the participants. The results showed high enthusiasm among participants, evident from their early attendance, active engagement, and success in group simulations. This program effectively enhanced students' understanding and motivation in financial management. This approach is expected to serve as a solution for expanding financial literacy education among students.
