Journal J-MPI : Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan, Penelitian dan Kajian Keislaman is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality research articles, theoretical studies, and critical reviews in the fields of educational management and Islamic studies. The journal aims to facilitate scholarly communication among researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners who are engaged in the development of education systems and Islamic knowledge at various levels. Each manuscript submitted to this journal is expected to offer a structured approach to research or theoretical analysis, grounded in strong methodological frameworks, with relevant references, critical interpretation, and meaningful contributions to the discipline. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of job training on employee performance at PT. Win Wahana Cipta Marga, a construction company in Makassar engaged in Hotmix and Ready Mix. Job training is recognized as one of the important factors in improving the quality of human resources, which in turn can affect employee performance and the achievement of company goals. The method used in this study involves collecting data through a questionnaire distributed to 30 employees from various positions in the company. The results of the validity and reliability test show that the instrument used is valid and reliable. However, the results of the correlation coefficient analysis showed that job training did not have a significant correlation with employee performance, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.199 which was included in the very low category. Thus, it can be concluded that job training at PT. Win Wahana Cipta Marga does not have a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Social conflicts in Indonesia, particularly those triggered by religious differences, have become a significant challenge to the stability and harmony of society. Religious moderation, which emphasizes tolerance, inclusivity, and mutual respect, has emerged as a potential solution to mitigate these conflicts. The importance of religious moderation lies in its ability to foster interfaith dialogue, strengthen unity, and prevent radicalization that could lead to terrorism. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of applying religious moderation in addressing social conflicts in Indonesia, focusing on case studies in several regions that frequently experience interfaith tensions. Through a qualitative approach, this research is expected to provide more effective policy recommendations for promoting harmony and social stability in Indonesia

Abstract

This study examines the relevance of human science concepts in Islamic philosophy to the modern context. Using historical approaches and interdisciplinary analysis, this research explores the classical thoughts of Islamic philosophers such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Ghazali on human concepts, ethics, morality, and epistemology. The research method employed is literature study from books, journals, and other relevant sources. The results show that these concepts remain relevant and can be applied in education, professionalism, and personal life to shape holistic and ethical individuals. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of integrating classical and modern thoughts to develop a more holistic approach in addressing contemporary challenges. Further research is suggested to deepen the understanding of the relationship between classical and contemporary thoughts

Abstract

This article tries to review religious moderation which can act as a bulwark of tolerance.In this case it can be said that Indonesia is a country which does not only have one religion but has several diverse religion,therefore religious moderation in really needed as a bulwark of tolerance and can making people’s lives comfortable and harmonious.In thi research ,in terms of collecting information,the author used the library study method.the data sources in this paper come from the web,journals and books and even other literature that is possible and related.The objectives to be achieved in this paper namely to explore the concept of religious moderation as a bulwark of tolerance,explore the importance of religious moderation as a bulwark of tolerance and also the obstacles or challenges that may be experienced in religious moderation as a bulwark of tolerance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of student care at the MBS Mas Mansyur Ngawi Islamic Boarding School, with a focus on the challenges faced and solutions that can be implemented. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The research results show that the main challenges in managing student care include limited human resources, differences in student backgrounds, and the dynamics of technological development. The proposed solutions include improving the quality of caregivers, developing character development programs, and integrating technology in the Islamic boarding school management system. Nurturing students is a crucial aspect in shaping the character and behavior of students during their education. The main challenges faced in parenting include discipline, effective communication between caregivers and students, as well as consistent application of Islamic values ​​in everyday life. Apart from that, limited human resources and facilities are also obstacles in achieving parenting effectiveness. This article offers solutions in the form of optimizing parenting programs based on psychological and spiritual approaches, increasing the capacity of caregivers through training, and improving communication systems between caregivers, students and parents. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for Islamic boarding school managers in improving parenting management, so that they are able to produce student graduates who have noble character and good social skills.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in diversity, one aspect of its diversity is its various religions. Some of the religions officially recognized by the government are Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. It is also unusual that in Sragen there is also a traditional or local religion called the Jawen religion. This discussion of religious moderation aims to see the attitude of tolerance that is maintained between religious communities in one of the city housing complexes in Central Java, namely Sragen. How is this attitude of harmony and tolerance mutually maintained from the beginning of being neighbors (2013) until now. This research is a type of qualitative research in the form of field research which involves direct observation and interaction of research subjects in the environment and library research sourced from journals and book reading. In this case, it is known that an attitude of mutual respect for one another and an attitude of harmony must always be carried out by every resident in the Permai Asri 1 Sragen housing complex, because this is one of the rules here and the people also uphold a sense of brotherhood as evidenced by the regular meetings held once a month. This meeting discusses the vision and mission for the future (whether changes need to be made or not), resolves any conflicts that arise, and discusses major events such as the 17 August Celebration, the anniversary of Sragen City and Halal bihalal, which needs to be emphasized that this association is not for exchanging argumentation of beliefs with family members who have different beliefs. The community here upholds an attitude of tolerance, which means tolerance is respecting differences in social relationships (communication) that are applied in social life, so that there are shared boundaries of what can and cannot be done. This is the main point of the explanation regarding religious moderation in the Permai Asri 1 Sragen housing complex. It is hoped that each family can always provide an environment and space for tolerance, so that they can always respect and appreciate each other's beliefs and there is no sense of wariness regarding rights, obligations and beliefs

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is an orientation for the development of national civilization as an investment in the long-term future development of the nation. Currently, schools have entered the era of the industrial revolution, of course the quality of schools needs to be improved, so the leadership of school principals is needed to face this era. The principal is the leader of the school and is the person who has authority within the school. Ideal leadership is leadership that follows the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0. Leaders who follow technological developments, leaders must have skills in influencing, encouraging, guiding, directing and mobilizing other people who are related to the implementation and development of education and teaching in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The aim of this research is to determine the leadership of school principals in facing changing times, especially in the 4.0 era and to explain studies on the concept of leadership in facing the 4.0 era. The method used is a qualitative method. The results of the discussion can be concluded that the leadership of school principals must be able to master the technological fields that are needed today in the era of the digital revolution 4.0 to improve and explore the potential that exists within themselves and the need for the readiness of school principals to face challenges in the current era of the digital revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Quality education is very dependent on teacher competence, which is a key factor in the learning process. The research was carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Ngawi. The aim of this research is to determine the role of school principals in improving teacher competency. The writing method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with school principals, teachers and other related parties at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Ngawi. Apart from that, secondary data was also obtained from related documents. The results of this research show that school principals have a strategic role in improving teacher competency through various programs, including; developing teacher professionalism, creating a supportive work environment, using technology in learning, evaluation and feedback, collaboration with stakeholders.

Abstract

The organization of an institution that is short and commercial will affect the teaching and learning process of students, especially in character formation, which requires a long life (long life education) in creating the nation's generation. The research results found that the ancient era model according to Az-Zarnuji at the Maktuba Islamic Education Institute was divided into three research results: first, long time, quality of time, and target achievement. Second, in the past, according to Az-Zarnuji at the Maktuba Al-Majidiyah Palduding Pamekasan Islamic boarding school, it was implemented in two aspects, always guided by methods and clever use of time. Third, supporting and inhibiting factors for past development in accelerated learning include the completeness of teaching and learning facilities, the activeness and skills of teachers/supervisors, the formation of study groups, and control from supervisors; as well as differences in student backgrounds, method inconsistencies, and time-intensive activities.

Abstract

The teaching of Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam, SKI) is often perceived as monotonous by students due to traditional instructional methods. Therefore, innovative approaches are needed to enhance learning engagement through interactive, technology-based methods. This article examines the effectiveness of interactive learning in improving students’ understanding of SKI. A qualitative descriptive research method was employed, utilizing literature studies and data analysis from relevant studies. The findings indicate that using interactive media, such as e-learning, animated videos, and gamification, significantly increases students’ motivation and comprehension. Thus, integrating technology into SKI instruction proves to be an effective solution for creating a more engaging and meaningful learning experience.
