Abstract

Employee performance is a very important thing in the company's efforts to achieve its goals. Creating good employee performance is not easy because employee performance can be created if the variables that influence it can be well accommodated and accepted by all employees within an organization or company. In this study employee performance is influenced by job satisfaction, work stress and work motivation. This study aims to explain the effect of work stress on employee performance, the effect of work stress on employee job satisfaction, the effect of motivation on employee job satisfaction, the effect of motivation on employee performance, the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, how job satisfaction mediates the effect of work stress on employee performance, and how job satisfaction mediates the effect of motivation on employee performance. This research is included in the type of research explaining or explanatory research. This research was conducted at Alam Puri Villa Art Museum and Resort Denpasar. Respondents of this study were 64 employees of Alam Puri Villa Art Museum and Resort Denpasar. Data collection techniques used in research include observation, interview, literature study, questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using PLS (partial least square). The results of this study indicate that work stress has a negative and not significant effect on employee performance, work stress has a negative and not significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on proven job satisfaction, work motivation has a positive and not significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, job satisfaction is not a mediating variable between work stress on employee performance, and job satisfaction mediates the influence between work motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

Tax is one of the main sources of state revenue. The bigger the tax, the better the state finances. However, for the taxpayers, tax payments are a burden. On the other hand, the company is subject to state tax because its’ activities are the tax object, which is a value-added tax. The aim of this study were to find out the policy of the implementation of Tax Planning of Value Added Tax implemented by PT Toyotomo Indonesia and PT RKN Forge Indonesia, to analyze the proper implementation of Tax Planning in the efficiency of the amount of Value Added Tax Payable, and to analyze the impact of the Tax Planning Implementation on Value Added Tax at PT Toyotomo Indonesia and PT RKN Forge Indonesia. The method used was descriptive quantitative. The data used in this research were primary and secondary data. The data collecting techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used was descriptive quantitative analysis with study case approach. The results of the research of Taxation Implementation at PT Toyotomo Indonesia and PT RKN Forge Indonesia related to Value Added Tax to efficient the VAT payable is good and in accordance with the applicable tax regulation. The impact of the tax planning implementation on VAT is minimizing the taxes by conducting activities that are likely to minimize the tax costs such as tax saving, avoiding violations of tax regulations, optimizing the creditable input tax, utilizing the 0% tax facilities.

Abstract

Competitive behavior is also a major factor in the competitive media industry is now getting very tight. This is caused by the print media competition with online or Internet-based media in getting news and advertising to attract participants from readers. This research method uses historical depth case study intended to produce an institutional explanation of the characteristics of the typical behavior shown by principal component analysis. The study also incorporates the classical approach to the historical focus on qualitative interpretation of data, In order to survive, the print media should be able to maintain the credibility and public trust on the information presented is now more attractive and more accurate. The print media began to be threatened because of the rapid development of emerging online media via internet access has encouraged people to seek to access online media simply and easily via mobile phones or gadgets. Connoisseurs of the print media loyal readers will turn to online news media. Reality has happened would threaten the print media industry, but the print media already have the characteristics of the first, namely: the news that is always clear, complete and detailed, online media faster and more sophisticated to broadcast news and always up to date but the online news can only be enjoyed by using the sophisticated tool not all communities have the tools and not all people can use sophisticated technology to always follow the news online.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of asset management which includes planning needs, inventory, identification, legal audit, asset valuation, utilization and monitoring of asset optimization in employees in charge of assets in the Denpasar High Court Regional Work Unit. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through questionnaires. The population in this study were all employees in the field of assets in the Denpasar High Court Regional Work Unit, amounting to 73 people. Determination of the sample using the census technique in which all populations are sampled. Data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square with the help of PLS software program. Based on the results of hypothesis testing it can be stated that the Requirement Planning significantly positive effect on asset optimization. Inventory does not have a significant positive effect on asset optimization. The identification of positive effect is not significant on asset optimization. Legal audit does not have a significant positive effect on asset optimization. Asset valuation has a positive and significant effect on asset optimization. Utilization has a positive and not significant effect on asset optimization. And monitoring has a positive and not significant effect on asset optimization.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the effect of service quality with customer loyalty. And customer satisfaction as a mediator between the relationship of service quality with customer loyalty. This research was collected data from 100 respondents who were customers who visited the Tourism Village in Badung Regency. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with partial least square approach. The results indicate an insignificant direct effect of service quality on customer loyalty. Significant direct influence on service quality with customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction with customer loyalty. Furthermore, the results show an indirect effect between service quality and customer loyalty, which is mediated by customer satisfaction. The findings was empirically indicate that service quality has a negative effect on customer satisfaction. And customer satisfaction has a full mediating effect, customer satisfaction is important explaining the quality of service to drive customer loyalty. Based on the results it can be concluded that this research offers empirical evidence of the relationship of service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This research makes a theoretical contribution to clarifying the high level of service quality increasing customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the Ethics of Colonial Lecturers to understand Millennial students in communicating to be able to unite their perceptions, to find out Millennial Student Ethics hold and uphold custom and culture as a guideline in communicating or democracy critically in the education and community environment to create creative ideas in innovation, and to find out the Ethical Trade Off of Colonial Lecturers and Millennial Students in Critical Thinking to improve Communication and Teaching and Learning processes in the campus environment. This research was conducted through direct experience and observation in teaching. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach and phenomenology. The main informants are 4 students and 2 lecturers. This research was conducted at Indonesia-Bali University of Technology campus. The research results obtained that through a personal approach and understanding, the character of millennial students and treating them as a friend, friend and even a child, from a lecturer, were able to make positive changes in the world of education. Because they feel valued and even given the opportunity to express their opinions and develop creative ideas, but within the boundaries of good ethics in accordance with eastern customs that we have. So that millennial children have a character that can bring them into critical thinking to grow and develop and innovate in accordance with technology.

Abstract

Business development and competition will continue to increase from time to time following the development of information technology, so each company must continue to be creative and innovate by continuously improving the quality of its human resources. Human resources are one of the most important assets in a company or organization, as sophisticated and as complete as any other aspect of the organization but without the support of competent human resources, the organization will not operate well. This study aims to examine the effect of competence on employee performance, the effect of competence on organizational commitment, the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance and the role of organizational commitment mediating competence on employee performance. The method of determining the sample in this study uses a census method in which all employees totaling 37 people are sampled at PT. Bali Tangi Spa Production, Denpasar, Bali and data processing using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique version 2.0. The results of the study stated that competence had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, competence had a positive and not significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and company commitment played a partial mediation in mediating competence on employee performance. In general, employees have a very good performance but management is advised to provide training, especially in the use of work equipment and also provide deeper motivation to increase organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research aims was to analyze and determine the effect of OCB on work stress and employee performance at the Denpasar City Revenue Agency. The hypothesis proposed based on theoretical studies and phenomena set forth in the formulation of the problem are 1) OCB has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 2) OCB has a positive and significant effect on work stress, 3) Job stress has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, 4) Job stress is able to mediate OCB relations to employee performance. The design of this research pattern is oriented towards quantitative data calculation patterns through questionnaires obtained from respondents as many as 35 people, where the items of each question refer to the indicators of each research variable, the data used are primary and secondary data both qualitative and quantitative which then analyzed SEM based on PLS, The results found, 1) OCB has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 2) OCB has a negative and significant effect on work stress, 3) Job stress has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, 4) Work stress is a mediating variable that connects OCB variables with employee performance.

Abstract

Performance is the performance of work or output (output) both quality and quantity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of motivation in mediating the influence of competence and leadership on the employee performance of Wing Amerta Installation Sanglah Denpasar Hospital, the respondents are all 50 outpatient personnel, the data collected related to competence, leadership, motivation and performance. Analyzer used in this research PLS (Partial Least Square). The result of this research has positive and significant influence on motivation, leadership has positive influence on motivation and significance, positive competence to performance, and the relationship is significant, competence has positive effect on motivation and relationship is significant, motivation has positive effect on performance and relationship is significant, motivation is partial mediation between Competence to performance, and motivation is the perfect mediation between Leadership on performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significance of the capital structure and liquidity effect on the profitability value, to analyze the significance of the capital structure, liquidity and profitability effect on firm value, and to analyze the role of profitability in mediating the capital structure and liquidity effect on firm value. The population in this study is food and beverage companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was conducted by purposive sampling method and then the number of samples is 12 companies. The research data is secondary data obtained from the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the Indonesia Capital Market Directory from 2013 until 2016. Data analysis is by path analysis technique with IBM SPSS Statistic Version 22. The results of this study showed that: (1) the capital structure negative, not significant impact on profitability. (2) the liquidity had negative significant impact on profitability. (3) the capital structure had negative significant impact on firm value. (4) the liquidity had a negative not significant impact on firm value. (5) the profitability had a positive and significant impact on firm value. (6) profitability is able to mediate the effect of capital structure on firm value significantly. (7) profitability is able to mediate the effect of liquidity on firm value significantly.
