Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase tax awareness among members of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) in Rempoa, South Tangerang. Many small business actors still lack fundamental knowledge about taxation, which leads to low tax compliance and reporting errors. The program provided structured socialization and training, including basic taxation concepts, financial recording practices, and e-filing using the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) Online system. Through lectures, tutorials, and interactive discussions, participants were guided to understand their tax obligations and how to fulfill them independently. The results show a significant improvement in the participants’ ability to perform basic tax calculations, financial documentation, and online reporting. This initiative is expected to promote voluntary tax compliance and support sustainable economic development at the local level. Furthermore, it demonstrates that empowering MSMEs with tax literacy can be an effective strategy to enhance state revenue and build a tax-compliant culture in Indonesia’s grassroots economy.

Abstract

Sexual violence in school environments has become an increasingly alarming issue, especially among junior high school students. Many victims, particularly female students, often remain silent due to fear and shame, which hinders efforts to provide protection and justice. This community service program aimed to raise awareness and educate students of SMP Negeri Dua Puluh South Tangerang on the prevention and handling of sexual harassment. Through legal counseling sessions, students were introduced to the concept of bodily autonomy, the importance of speaking up, and the legal protections available to them. The program applied a quantitative descriptive method, involving questionnaires, observations, and direct discussions to assess students’ understanding before and after the session. The findings suggest that legal education in schools can significantly enhance students’ ability to recognize, prevent, and report incidents of sexual violence. This initiative also highlighted the essential roles of schools, parents, and communities in safeguarding students' rights.

Abstract

Advancements in information technology have significantly impacted social behavior, including among the santri at Islamic boarding schools. On one hand, digital media serves as an effective tool for preaching, education, and communication. On the other hand, negative phenomena such as cyberbullying have emerged, which can lead to psychological, social, and even legal consequences. This community service initiative aims to provide digital legal awareness education to the santri of Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, helping them understand the legal principles governing online activities under the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and equipping them with the skills to protect themselves from cyberbullying. The activities include legal counseling, interactive discussions, case studies, and understanding evaluations. The results of the program indicate a significant improvement in the santri's understanding of digital law concepts, relevant provisions of the UU ITE, and strategies for preventing cyberbullying. This initiative is expected to serve as a model for digital legal education within Islamic boarding schools, fostering an ethical, safe, and law-abiding social media culture aligned with Islamic values

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop a service culture as a strategic approach to strengthening collaborative and integrity-based work culture among the academic community at ITKES Wiyata Husada Samarinda. Preliminary analysis indicated that although standard operating procedures and formal codes of ethics were already in place, the practical implementation of service-oriented values, inter-unit collaboration, and professional integrity in daily academic and administrative services had not been fully optimized. The program was implemented using a participatory approach through structured training, interactive workshops, collaborative simulations, and integrity-focused mentoring. Program outcomes were evaluated using pre- and post-assessments of participants’ understanding and feedback on perceived changes in service practices. The results show improvements in participants’ awareness of service culture principles, strengthened collaborative practices across units, and enhanced ethical sensitivity in service delivery. These findings indicate that PKM-based interventions can function as an effective instrument for internal capacity building and organizational culture development in higher education institutions
