Abstract

The result of the research said that most of respondents (79,2 %), the students, girls, of MAN I Semarang consurned "Balancecl Nurition", that is, rice, side dish made from meat and fish, vegetables, fruit ancl milk. 80 % of sturlents consumed them three times a day and 100 % of then consumecl rice. Conceming ahout their knowledge about health and reproduction is described that 20% of thestudents (19 students) have good criteria in competence, and 50 % of them havi enough criteria.Meanwhile they received information concerning ahout sexiolog,, from their school mates, therefore, school officials such os teachers, coutrcilors etc. must guide ond council them properly. 76 % of the students had normal Hb level, 24 %, of them had little bit normul Hb let,el, thu is, less thun l3 grrm 9(t, thut they coultl suJfer front anemio, thus, rhey must tuke kthlet Fe.Keywords : Students of girl, consume puttern, Healt of reproduction

Abstract

Abstract Background* Co-trimoxazol is an combined antibiotics consist of Sulphametoxazol and Trimetoprim (5:1). This substance is related with tetrahydropholic acid synthesis in bacteria to produce imidine and purine. The maximum wavelength of Sulphamethoxazol at 255-257 and Trimetoprim : 287 t 2 nm may be used for concentration assay and the different of polarity properties of these substances may be separated by thin layer chromatography. Objectives : The objective of this research is comparing two methods, UV Spectrophotometry by Simultaneously and by TLC. Method : The research's methodology is experimental laboratory that comparing it's recovery weight of each substance by simultaneously - TLC method. Statistically, Analysis of variants - test and t-test are used to compare between it's standard deviations and means. Results : Sulphamethoxazol and Trimetoprim in Ethanol 95%-NaOH 0,1N (1:3) is show peak absorption at 257 and 289 nm wavelength. Recovery of Sulphamethoxazol is (98.20 + 0.40) Yo and Trimetoprim : (93.69 + 0.75) %. Statistically, the accuracy test, Sulphamethoxazol Fo : 2.325 < F tab (P:0,05, dbf:9,1)=297, andTrimetoprimFo:0.126 <F tab(P:0,05, dbf:1,;7):5.59, andtheprecision test of Sulfametoksazol and Trimetoprim are t cal. : 0.666 < t table (P=0.05; dbt=l0) : 1.81 and tcal. = 0.376 < t tab (P:0,05, dbt: 9) =1.83.. Conclusion : Recovery of Sulphamethoxazol is (98.20 +0.40) % and Trimetoprim (98.69 + 0.75) o/o. Abstract

WHO calculates 500.000 people died because of pregnancy and delivery process every year, 99% occures in developed countries, and 50o/o of them are in Indonesia- This is mainly caused by postpartum bleeding and bad malnutritions. To decrease the risk factoi of death, we have to fulfill the need of nutritions, especially iron, and optimilize health iervice given. Research about type of food consumption, Hb level, and purperalmother habbit, as description of reproduction health poverity in Public Health Service sector I Guntur-Demak, with the lowest level of KIA, become so important. From 65 purperal mothers as noted, there are 4 antenatal examinations, it meons that we have enough case data with 100% TT immunization, which most of them are executed by mtdide (84,60/0), dukun (1,5%o), doctor (12,3%o); 6 of them with caesar process. Most of postpartum examination hold by midwife, it is because of midwife active visit rate '(81,'5%o). All pusperal mother agreed to follow family planning (KB) programe, which most chpotri Kn epe is syringe (52,3%o), most of them followed their neighbour suggestion (35,4%o).-Deating withfirst mother milk (ASI) supply, 92,3% are suggestedby the midwife.Will-to supply ASI by themselves is good (81%o), but still without good planning of time (52,5%o).-Food consumption rate of purperal mother still low, it can be shown iince most of them neyer consume animal protein (78,5%o), so that, most of them are also never eat vigetables (58,5%o). This is why they have Hb level 7-8 gr% (86,2%o). In fact, heme iron (ix. meat) is well absorbed than non-heme iron. This also suported by factsthat there are some restrictions from their tradisional culture which are condirably taboo. From the data above, there are some recommendations asfollows: It is important to give a good explanation about health and nutritions to society which help them to get colrect iiformation from the expert by managing human resources; It is important for purperal mother to consume Fe tablet, since there are lot of them having anemia; It isimjortant to socialize garden and farming reconstruction to fuffill family need oJ nutrition.Key words; postpartum, purperal mother, malnutritions, nutrition.

Abstract

This research is aimed at comparing between temperature conductivity grade which has been measured and material conductivity grade that will be researched through serial connection. By heating some material surface and measuring other material one, consequently hot temperature will occur. Whereas variables affecting the height of qk is A, dT/dX. To determine the height of  k is by means of calculating it based on the result of the research of material temperature which occurs in temperature detector. Subsequently, material conductivity, after its variables are known, is calculated by analyzing the regression and average of mean. The calculation result is following below :KA =15,682 , kB= 3,684 dan kC=5,535 watt/m oC. The calculation result is then calibrated with actual temperature, and the result is approaching copper, bronze and steel conductivity grade. Keyword : Conductor, Conductivity, Material.

Abstract

Literature-psychology relation ship has given much contribution to development of both disciplines of knowledge. Such relationship enables any methods within psychology to be applied to analyze literary works, and vise versa, psychological phenomenon found in literary works can give feedback to development of psychology. This essay is aimed at analyzing the cause of Medea's failure in marriage, her psychological state, and psychopathic personality disorder reaction so that Medea eventually decides to murder her own children. In this Euripides literary work, Medea, the sufferer of psychopathic personality disorder, has some psychological disorder indications such as malaclaptive behavior and personaldistress. Characteristtcs of psychopathic personality disorder are guiltless feeling and no remorse for every sadistic maladaptive behavior she has committed all her life. She has no conscience, just follows her impulsive drive without considcring other's right to live, and has no ability to change her maladaptive behavior throughout her life. Murdering her own children, king Kreon and his daughter, and dismemhering her own brother's body into pieces for the dragon ure evidence for a psychopath Medea. The importance factors huving a role to shape Metlea's personality are hiological and parentalfactor. Medea's hiologicalfoctor ts her nonreactivenerve system which leads her to commit o cruel deed oggressivellt undunable to hear somehody's advice and restriction. Wereas based on parentol factor, Medea from childhood to adulthood ,s reared in killer fomillt ancl environment, so it also shapes Medea's personality to be a cold-hlootled killer.Key words: psychopathic personality disorder, murdering, guiltless feeling,maladaptive, personal distress, biological-parental factor.

Abstract

The study was conducted with the aim to know the probabilirlt of sodium chloride as a partial substitlttion alternative of patassium chloride on sorghum plants cultivution technique. Two varieties ofsarghum (Sl : local ketan and 52 : introduction UPCA-SI) were subjected to K-Na fertilizers (Pl : 100%oK+0%oNa; P2 = 80%K+20%Na; P3 = 6Ao%K+409zoNa; P4 = 40%K+6A%Na; P5 : 20%K+B0%Na; and P6 = A%oK+100%Na). The teatments w^ere allotted to a campletely randomized design with two factorial pattern and 5 replications. The parameters observed were growth of plants (plant height and leafnumber), chlorophyll content, leaf nitrate reductase activity, dry matter, wet matter yield, and dry matter yield. The data were analyzed by variance analysis and Duncan multiple range test 5o%. Results of theexperiments indicated that: (1) The local ketan sorghum had more plant height, chlorophyll content, dry matter and wet matter yield higher than the introcluction UPCA-SI sorghum; (2) Substitution capacity oJ'KCI by NaCl could be reached on 100%o (0%K+100%Na) with highest yield on P4 (40%oK+60%oNa); and (j) The local ketan sorghum had more responsible to fertilizer K-Na than the other one.Keywords: probabiliry, sodium chloride, potassium choride, sorghum

Abstract

Typhoid Dengue is a disease coused by Salmonella typhy bacteria, and constitutes a seriotts disea"^e in Indonesia ancl in other cleveloping countries. This is due to the high prevalence of the disease (0.36% - 0.81%) per annum and due to vurious handicaps in term of clinical description, diagnosis and cwe of this clisease. The prevention effort that has heen token by preventing the incidence of initial pathogenesis. Therefore. it is necessary to find out the pathogen factor which plays a role in the entry of such bacteria into inlestines as the initial palhogenesis. The general oh.iective of this re.search i,s to arml1,:e the handiccrp in attachtrtg the Salntgnella gtphi on the v,hite mice enterosit (Wistar) by polyclonal crntibocty ofanti protein hemaglutinin of'sub unit pilli 36 kDu crnd 18.6 kDa. The specific objectit'es of tltis research are to (l) .find out the attachnrenr paffern of'Salmonella t..vphi on the white mice enterosit (Wistar) (2) find out the capability of attachment ltandicap of bacteria cell on tlte enlerosit hy plovclonnal antibody of anti protein hemugluinin. The research was conducted in several stages, nantely the attachment testing by using the Nagayama at al. method, 1995 in which the testing nsed enterosit from white mice (LVistor) intestinal isolation that was performed according to Weiser (1973), the testing of handicap of bacterial attachment on the enterosit by polyclonal antibody of anti protein hemaglutinin of sub unit pilli 36 kDa and 18.6 kDa. Abstract

The effictiveness of p-chlorophenol photodegradation on catalyzed by TiO2 have been studied. The photo degradation process was carried out in closed reactor equipped with  UV lamp type-C. The suspension of p-chlorophenol, TiO2, and oxigen saturated by the batch system was exposs with UV light, and stirred for a period of time. The concentration of remainder p-chlorophenol was determined by Gas Chromatography. The yields of photodegradation of phenol was calculated by deiermining the amount of the initial and remaining of concentration of p-chlorophenol. In this study, the effict of mass of TiO2 , the initial concentration of p-chlorophenol, and the pH of the solution on the effictiveness of p-chlorophenol photodegradation catalyzed bi TiO2 have been investigated. The effect of the photodegradation process on TiO2 cristally have also studied. The research results showed that the increasing of concentration to mass of TiO2, the initial of concentration of p-chlorophenol, were increased the effect of photodegradation of p-chlorophenol catalyzed by TiO2. It is also found that the effectiveness of p-chlorophenol wasa conciderably influenced by solution pH, regarding the speciation of p-chlorophenol, and TiO2. The highest effectiviness of photodegradation of p'chlorophenol catalyzed by TiO2 was 66.84 % and the condition with giving maximum yields are 20 mg TiO2 in 25 mL solution, 300 mg/L the initial of concentration of p-chlorophenol, the pH of solution 6, and the time contact of about 25 hours. Durin the photodegradation of p-chlorophenol process, TiO2 cristally was partially destroyed as much as 14.13%. Key words: phothodegradation, p-chlorophenol, and TiO2

Abstract

Abstract Scabies disease in Indonesia is commonly called scabies skin disease, caused by Sarcoptes scabiei mite, it is infected by personal hygiene and bad environment, the most effective way to Decrease the infection spreading of scabies disease is cleaning the environmental and Surrounding frequently and keep the personal hygiene. In this research place with many people live in is chosen, like Pondok Pesantren, because Usually there are many people in Pondok Pesantren and they less pay attention on keeping the Personal and environmental hygiene, and also the facility provided by Ponpes organizer is not enough. The purpose of this research is to do observation the scabies disease and to low personal hygiene related to scabies disease. The used research is descriptive research because it just describes scabies disease at boys and girls students in Pondok Pesantren Al ltqon. The used research Method to examine skin rabbed with a coin is by Microscopic method. Population is boys and girls student at Pondok Pesantren At ltqon amount to I15 children, Sample is boys and girls students having scabies disease symptom amount to 15 samples in Pondok Pesantren. Result of research shows that respondent infected by Sarcoptes scabiei there is 27 % while the result of interview to know hygiene and sanitation habit got the data that 54 % respondent Have bad habit.
