Abstract

The objective of this study is to map and to find out the development and change of thecontents of the teaching materials in Pancasila Education for higher education in thepost-reform era. This study explores how the development and changes undergo in thecontent of it which rarely become a concern and study from academics and Pancasilaresearchers. In particular, this study explores the development and changes of theteaching materials in Pancasila Education for universities through case studies on booksor the other teaching materials that have been published or circulated in many bookshopsin Yogyakarta region. The methods used in this study are literature review andobservation of the five well-known public bookshops in Yogyakarta which have becomepublic reference, such as Gramedia, Kanisius, Toga Mas, Social Agency, and ShoppingCenter located in Malioboro. The results of this study indicate that the sources andcontents of the teaching materials in Pancasila Education have various contents andapproaches which depend on the author's perspectives. This study finds that thebookshops in Yogyakarta provide the teaching materials of Pancasila Education fromvarious authors and publishers. The teaching and learning of Pancasila Education inhigher education becomes a lot easier since there are many variants of teachingmaterials. The conclusion of this study shows that the teaching materials for PancasilaEducation for Higher Education in the post-reform era has undergone rapid developmentand changes.

Abstract

Simultaneous regional elections held in 2018 in 171 regions in Indonesia recorded voter reached73.24% of the total permanent voters list (DPT) available. There has been a decrease in the levelof community participation if compared to the 2017 elections which reached 74% (source: KPUData) become a matter of concern so that it does not continue to occur in every general election.One method used is through citizenship education. This study aims to determine whethercitizenship education for beginner voters can already be used as a basis in understanding andinterpreting the general election and is there a significant effect of citizenship education on theincrease in the participation of beginner voters in general elections. From the research conductedon 200 adolescent voters in 3 senior high schools and 2 universities in Medan took a case studyon the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra in 2018. Final resultshowing that there was a strong correlation between citizenship education and the level ofparticipation of beginner voters in general election. when the citizenship education is receivedbetter by the beginner voters , then the level of participation in the election become higher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the forms of sexual abuse that occur on socialmedia and the response of social media users to sexual harassment. This researchis motivated by the increasing prevalence of social media users. Interaction in thevirtual world sometimes has a negative impact on its users. This study uses aqualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation.Data analysis techniques use discourse analysis. The results of this study obtaineddata that sexual harassment that occurs on social media is divided into writingharassment, verbal abuse, visual abuse, and real abuse. The response from womenwho use social media is that most of them regret the existence of sexual harassmentactivities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the causes of conflict, if the cause of conflictis known then the way to control conflict can be done by means of mutualisation,mediation, arbitration and control with peer mediation, so that conflicts can be resolvedcorrectly and appropriately in ways that are not harmful one of the parties, so thatthere is no hostility or violence caused by the conflict. The object of this study was theprincipal, teacher, and students of SDN Kemayoran 1 Bangkalan. The research methodused in this study is a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach toidentify factors that cause students to be involved in conflict in school and to find outhow schools handle conflicts that occur in elementary school students. To get theexpected data, researchers will collect data using two techniques, namely interviewtechniques and documentation techniques. The results of the study stated that the causeof the conflict in the form of ridicule of another student who led to a fight. The maincause is that no one wants to budge so there is a fight which results in a fight.

Abstract

Based on the phenomenon in the field, there are a lot of local wisdom of Tomun Lamandau Dayakpeople who are almost extinct due to the entry of modernization and the lack of public awarenessin maintaining their wisdom. Based on the results of observations and interviews found somelocal wisdom that is almost gone, namely: traditional games, traditional farming systems, wisdomrespecting the forest, traditional medicine system, spiritual abilities, traditional singing anddancing, one of which is Babukung dance (a procession of tribal death rituals of Dayak Tomun).Departing from the problem, the aim of this study was to find out and analyze the role of SocialCapital (bonding, bridging, networking) of the Dewan Adat Dayak in preserving local wisdom inLamandau District, Central Kalimantan Province. This study uses descriptive qualitativemethodology. Using snowball sampling technique in determining informants. The conclusionsdrawn in this study are: a). The social capital owned by the DAD district of Lamandau in bonding,bridging and networking is inseparable from the role of the actor, namely the head of the DistrictDAD as a driving actor. b). With the existence of social capital owned, it is expected that DAD inthe future will be more consistent in preserving existing local wisdom.

Abstract

English is the language of daily life trains communication skills and job needs. This researchdescribes and analyzes about how cultural democracy in learning English is applied, maintaininglocal language (Madurese language) and the role of kiai in curriculum making? The benefits of thisstudy as a theoretical reference and practice in learning English to maintain local language andculture. This research was conducted at Madura Islamic boarding school using descriptivequalitative approach with ethnographic research design, data collection techniques throughobservation, interviews and documentation. While the way to analyzeis familiarizing and organizing,coding and reducing, and interpreting and representing. The results are always encouraging tutorsand students to shape the environment of English and develop students' knowledge with vocabularymastery through the “settoran” method. Conduct observations and teachings through “FantsyMorning” and “Bazar Exhibition” and involve managers and alumni in making policies. Learninguses cooperative models by writing text in groups and reading text aloud. Speaking using Englishas a pesantren regulation. Maintaining pesantren culture, starting to dress and learning activities.Conducting curriculum development through deliberation to evaluate the entire set of activities andlearning outcomes. Assessing vocabulary mastery, writing skill and speaking skill successively.Learning a cultural democracy-based language maintains the pesantren's value system andenhances new abilities and knowledge of English and supports Madura (enggi-bhunten). While therole of the kiai in making curriculum is that there are those who are involved directly and indirectly.
