Abstract

The diversity conflict that is currently a hot issue in Indonesia raises the question of how therole of education to be able to instill multicultural values in young citizens. This is given thatthe current multicultural values have not been optimally strived so that awareness of respectfor differences has not yet materialized. The cultivation of existing multicultural values is moreeffectively implemented through the role of subjects in the school, one of which is the Civicssubject. The mission of one of the subjects is to instill multicultural values. The importance ofgrowing multicultural values is aimed at creating tolerant citizens who are able to solveproblems peacefully and be able to respect differences. The method used in this paper istinjaun library (Library Research). The role of Civics in an effort to instill multicultural valuesinclude: 1) The cultivation of multicultural values in the preparation of lesson plans; 2) Thecultivation of multicultural values in the implementation of learning; 3) Assessment based onattitude assessment (affective); and 4) the role of Civic teachers as role models for theirstudents to instill multicultural values implemented through classroom learning.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a lot of diversity in society. Diversity is often seen as adifference, the difference being sharpened and often used by some to fulfill theambitions and interests of the individual or group. This led to horizontal conflicts thatled to the decline of the Indonesian nation, and the occurrence of riots everywhere.The purpose of this article is to describe the urgency of Civic Education based onmulticultural in fostering the diversity of Indonesian society. This research method isliterature review. Multicultural based Citizenship Education (PKn) plays a veryimportant role in fostering the diversity of Indonesian society so that diversity is not asource of conflict, but rather as a basis in tolerating and respecting the diversity thatexists in order to realize the state of Indonesia with Unity in Diversity. Civic learningbased on multicultural education is a simple method and strategy, in order to createthe character of the nation's children who can live in the nuances of difference.Therefore, in the learning process students should be brought closer to thecommunity, life and mutuality in society. Students should be familiar and trained indealing with and solving existing diversity problems in society. Civics teachers mustmake a self-transformation and self-restoration to prepare themselves for guardingand teaching on a multicultural basis. Teachers should get guidance and direction inorder to play a maximum role so that multicultural education can be implementedthrough Civics well. Multicultural education in both Civics and other subjects shouldbe improved especially in former conflict areas and areas with considerable potentialto prevent a recurrence of the conflict.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is the utilization of plastic waste as a means of cultivation oftoga with vertikultur system through environmental education in the community.Implementation method using stages that there is action research class. The results ofresearch, In the first cycle of the process of securing a toga made by the community inaccordance with the target. Strategic location supports the community to plant togawith vertikultur system. However, the community is still less maximal in the process ofperga's daily toga. In the second cycle, the gowns are varied, the containers used indifferent colors, and the location is widespread. Treatment of toga has increased peopleare starting to care about the toga that has been planted. In addition, the toga is alsoused by the community for everyday purposes

Abstract

Learning media is one means of channeling messages and learning information. Welldesigned learning media, greatly helps learners to digest and understand the subject matter.The development of information technology in the era of globalization and informationtoday, spur the development of learning media progressively advanced as well. Use ofInformation and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning medium is already ademand. Although the design of ICT-based media requires special skills, it does not meanthe media is avoided and abandoned. ICT-based learning media can be internet, intranet,mobile phone, and CD Room / Flash Disk.Advances in Information Technology has encouraged many changes, including in thefield of education that gave birth to the concept of e-learning. With e-learning, theimplementation of learning becomes more effective and efficient. E-learning enableslearners to be active and creative. E-learning provides educators, educators andeducational managers with many benefits, including program flexibility and learningmaterials that can be made more interesting and memorable. The integration of informationtechnology in education will improve the quality of learning. The impact of follow-up withthe integration of information technology in education is to encourage the acceleration ofcomputer literacy in Indonesian society.Utilizing technology as a learning medium in the process of teaching and learning,can facilitate the way teachers in communicating and interacting with students both in theclassroom and outside the class. The need for technology in the realm of education is notnew, the use of technology to form a conducive and innovative learner . Utilization is provento play a big role in the smooth process of learning.

Abstract

Authority to conduct criminal investigations of narcotic regulated under Law No. 35 of2009 on Narcotics, namely article 81 of the law. Dibeikan investigative authority to thenational drug agencies and the police of the republic of Indonesia. With the division ofthe investigative authority of overlap and multiple interpretations of article 81 of LawNo 35 of 2009 on Narcotics. This paper aims to analyze the rules of authority narcoticsinvestigation of criminal offenses. This paper is based on research using the normativeapproach to law (statute approach) and the conceptual approach (conceptualapproach). The results showed that the regulation of narcotic crime investigationauthority should be clarified and given limit, so in practice the rule of law is not a clashof authority between the National Narcotics Agency to police the Republic of Indonesia.As well as law enforcement agencies in carrying out their duties effectively and goes inaccordance with the criminal justice system.

Abstract

Development is a process to accelerate economic growth, reduce gaps and eradicate poverty.Besides that development is also a multidimensional process of important changes in socialstructure, the attitude of the people and national institutions. Therefore, in this study, theauthors will examine the public perception of the planned development of Geothermal PowerPlant (PLTP) in Idamdehe Village, District Jailolo, West Halmahera, North Maluku Province.The reason the author took this topic because the village will be built PLTP. The researchmethodology used is qualitative descriptive. From the results of the research shows that thedevelopment plan of PTLP in Idamdehe village has been socialized since 2011-2013. From theeffects of the socialization of the community get information about PTLP. There are threegroups of perceptions about the PLTP development plan that is Agree, Disagree and Doubtful.

Abstract

Citizenship education is a compulsory subject in all universities based on the Law onNational Education System. The purpose of this research is to know the implementationof civic education in universities as well as obstacles and challenges in theimplementation. The research method used is descriptive analytical with qualitativeapproach. Data collection techniques consist of primary data obtained fromrespondents and secondary data in the form of literature, scientific journals bothnationally and internationally. From the result of research, it is found that giving thecourse of civic education by lecturer is only theoretical only without accompanied bythe implementation of student activities. In addition, the lecturers who hold the subjectsof civic education have no competence in the field of state defense and do not getspecial training as lecturer of civic education from any institution. This requiressupport from the central government through the National Resilience Institute byproviding training in the form of lecturer candidates courses for Pancasila Educationand Citizenship Education courses.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop creativity using portable-based learningmethod. The study is development research using classroom action research principle.This research uses three research cycles. In the first cycle Average students' creativethinking ability in Lead cycle 24.28%. The average student attendance in educationalactivities in the first cycle was 32.5%. In the second cycle, the average increase instudent effectiveness in cycle II of 48.47%. The average student attendance in thelearning activity in the second cycle was 47.5%. In cycle three addition, the ability willbe used in a high category that is equal to 75,71%, student participation in learningactivity included in the good category, that is equal to 82%. Thus it can be concludedthat the learning portfolio can improve students' creative thinking ability.
