Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of group counseling with behavioral techniques contract to the decline in student academic procrastination. The study was conducted on students of class VIII SMP N 10 Magelang City. This research uses experimental design one group pretest-posttest design. Subjects selected by purposive sampling that is 11 students with high and low academic procrastination. Methods of data collection using a scale of academic procrastination. Statistical analysis of data using the non-parametric Wilcoxon test match pairs test with SPSS for Windows version 20.00. The results showed that group counseling with behavioral techniques contract affect the decline in academic procrastination Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Magelang City. This is evidenced by the decline after the given group counseling with behavioral techniques contract. Besides reduction in student academic procrastination behavior is characterized by the different aspects and indicators of academic procrastination. One is the student who originally is often a delay to start work and complete the task now becomes no longer put off the task.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the example non example models of learning achievement in Social science Students of State Elementary School Grade 1 Maduretno Kaliangkrik Magelang. The approach used in this study the pre-experimental research, design The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, by 9 meetings, are given treatment through learning in the classroom. The subjects of this study were 15 students who have learning achievement of Social Sciences is low. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique. There are two variables used in the research are: the dependent variable in the form of learning achievement of Social Sciences, as well as the independent variable in the form of a model example of non example. The data collection technique used is the learning achievement test Social Sciences.The results of a study reported an average score early measurement of learning achievement of Social Sciences students is 56.80, while the average score of the final measurement of learning achievement of Social Sciences students are reaching 77,87.Hypothesis testing using analytical techniques Wilcoxon signed rank test with SPSS for windows version 22.00. Based on the analysis of achievement learn there is a difference of Social Sciences students between the initial measurement and the final measurement with the value of Z at -3415 with sig 0,000 (sig <0.05), which means that there is a model example of non example influence the learning achievement of Social Sciences.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the correlation between apperception with learning motivation. 46 fifth graders were considered as the population. This study employed total population sampling method which involved examining the entire population of interest. The data were collected through questionnaire, interview, and observation. The variables were the apperception performed by the teachers (X) and the student’s learning motivation (Y). Product-Moment Correlation was used to analyze the data and performed using SPSS Version 16.0. The result revealed that there was correlation between apperception and student’s learning motivation with the Pearson’s r value of 0.685 and strong positive correlation between the two variables with the sig. value of 0.00<0.005. The apperception performed by the teacher contributed 47% of student’s learning motivation while 53% were influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of contextual approach with fold paper media to learning product at the fourthgrade students of SD Negeri Kleteran 3 Grabag. This study use true experimental design with pretest-posttest control groupdesign using control group and experiment group. The population of this study are all of fourth grade students of SD NegeriKleteran 3 and SD Negeri Grabag 3. Sampling technique used is total sampling. Samples of this study are 64 students.Methods of data collection using learning product test and observation. The effect of contextual approach with fold paper mediato students learning product is analyzed by Independent Sample t-test method using program of SPSS 16.0 for Windows.Based on the analysis result, the value of calculate t is 3.335 and the value of table t is 1.999 (calculate t > table t) and thevalue of significant 2-tailed is 0.001 (<0.05) that means there is a significant difference between the posttest result of controlgroup and the posttest result of experiment group. So, it means that contextual approach with fold paper media has affect tolearning product of student.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the condition of school-based management quality improvement, supporting factors and inhibitingfactors management school based quality improvement, as well as the principal’s role in the management of school based qualityimprovement.This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Subjects in this study were principals and objects in this study isbased on improving the quality of school. Source of research data is the principal, teachers, and the school community. Dataobtained through questionnaires, interviews, and observations.The result showed that the role of the principal in the management of school based quality improvement at theelementary sekecamatan Ngadirejo Temang- has run quite effectively. Pendukunnya factor is teacher resources which areadequate, facilities and infrastructure are adequate, innovation that has made the principal. Inhibiting factor is the lack of booksowned by the school, a library room that has not been used optimally. Based on observations, interviews and questionnaires werecarried out, the value of an average of 84%. These results illustrate that the principal’s role in the management of school basedquality improvement and the principal result was very instrumental in the management of school based quality improvement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the ability to know the numbers determine the increase through media flannel tree count in children aged 4-5 years.This study is a class action, in which each cycle consists of four steps: planning, execution, observation and evaluation. Research subjects in this study were students in group A in the ABA TK Tempuran Magelang totaling 19 children. Variables used include input variables (ability to know the number is low), the process variables (learning to use the media tree count flannel) and output variables (the ability to know a high number). Data collection methods used in this research is the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument used was the observation sheet and interview guides. Data analysis techniques used in this action research is descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques.The research proves that the media tree flannel count numbers can improve cognitive ability in children aged 4-5 years Tempuran ABA TK. Results of preliminary observations note that the average achievement of the ability to know the number of new subjects stood at 62.4%, still far from the target to be achieved is 75%. After learning activities using the media tree flannel count in the first cycle, the average achievement of the ability to know the subject number increased to 85.2%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of media kit mathto improve students’ motivation. Desaign research is Classroom Action Research as much as two cycle of four meetings. This research procedure consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research subject is class 4 SDN Sambeng, Borobudur. as 12 students consisting of 7 man and 5 woman. Method of collection is done by observation of the students motivation. As the data analysis method used is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.Conclusions of this research are effectively used math media kit to increase students’ motivation on the material fractions in grade 4 SDN Sambeng Borobudur Subdistrict ,District Magelang. With evidence that an increase in the average score of students motivation before action is taken at 15,16 into 27,66 after the action in cycle 2 or an increase of 82,5%.
