Abstract

The quality of the relationship between parents and children will be different in each family, including how to convey information will affect the relationship between parents and children. This study aims to analyze how a late teenager chooses and manages privacy boundaries to parents regarding sexual behavior. The theory used in this study is the Communication Privacy Management Theory (CPM), a theory that describes that every individual makes a choice about disclosing or not disclosing personal information, because every individual has the right to regulate access to their personal information. This study uses an interpretive paradigm with qualitative methods. The data collection technique in this research is semi-structured interview. Informants in this study were late teens in the city of Bogor. The results show that late teens can form private boundaries regarding the privacy realm of sexual behavior. Thus, late teens have a fairly high management of privacy communication to their parents, but in essence, late teens have a choice of positive expressions to their parents, and hide negative things such as sexual behavior. In self-disclosure, late teens tend to be closed to their parents regrading sexual behavior in their romantiv relationship because late teens have doubts, are refair of having an impact on their family relationship, bevause parents who have given trust to late teens and late teens also want to maintain their parents trust so they don’t disappointing. Whereas late teens are open to their parents about having a romantic relationship with their parents don’t forbid it.

Abstract

This study examines the climate issue of communication and morale of employeesin Capital Bank Asemka branch, Jakarta. This research aims to identify and analyze the communication climate and employees morale that is built in Capital Bank Asemka branch.This research uses qualitative descriptive method. This method is used to find and gather data, compile, use and interpret existing data. The data that is used in this study areobtained by written documents, consisting of books, archive, also gathered from an in-depth interview with the right sources of informant. The in-depth interviews were conducted by a list of questions that have been prepared. Before hand observation was also conducted to determine the situation on the ground. In this case, the researcher conducted participant observation with direct involvement role in a day-to-day activities with the informant.In this study the authors test the validity of data obtained using triangulation techniques. Triangulation is done by comparing or double checking the data that has been obtained, which is the results of both observations and interviews and other related documents.After analyzing, theauthor concluded that the communication climate that is built in Capital Bank Asemka branch is not conducive and has became one of the causes of low morale of every employee. One of the causes is because of the low factors that support the establishment of communication climate, such as trust, mutual decision-making, integrity, open communication downward, listen upward communication and emphasis to high performance goal. Hence, a low morale of work in employee is caused by factors that are not met. Whereas, a conducive communication climate can be realized with the role of a leader who can provide a good example for his subordinates, so that subordinates will gain a correct view in the organization and would encourage the morale of subordinates to work excellently for the company.

Abstract

United Nations through the International Telecommunication Union set the date of June 17, 2015 as the deadline for countries around the world to migrate from Analog Television Broadcasting to Digital Television Broadcasting--Analog Switch Off (ASO) (The Geneva 2006 Frequency Plan-GE 06 Agreement). 99 percent of the world's territories have implemented it. But Indonesia until 2017 has not been able to carry out these obligations because it is still constrained regulations that do not yet exist. Law Number 32 Year 2002 on Broadcasting does not explicitly regulate the issue. The Government through the Ministry of Communications and Information then issued two ministerial regulations namely: Ministerial Regulation Number 22/2011, on the Implementation of Terrestrial Digital Television Broadcasting of Free To Air, and Ministerial Regulation Number 23/2011 on Master Plan of Radio Frequency for Television Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting On Radio Ribbons 478 - 694 MHz. Both regulations were defeated in the judicial review in the Constitutional Court by the Institute of Community and Media Development (Incode) and also again lost in the State Administrative Court - PTUN by the Association of Indonesian Television Network-ATJI.Then the government changed the public-owned frequency paradigm into state property, the radio frequency spectrum (used as a television broadcasting channel) is a limited natural resource and national assets controlled by the state and administered by the government for maximum use for the people's prosperity in accordance with Article 33 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution, and appoint LPP TVRI as the sole operator of digital frequency organizer. The Ministry of Communications and Information submitted a revision of Law Number 32 Year 2002 on Broadcasting to accommodate the regulation, but although it was decided by a vote in the Legislation Body of the House of Representatives, some losing party factions still could not accept the decision because it was considered a monopoly act against Indonesian television broadcasting, and hampered the democratization of broadcasting.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research which aims to obtain a description of how the social workers role in handling the problems of rehabilitation participants at the Rehabilitation Center (Pusrehab) of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense. This study determined 3 cases purposively and data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation studies. In the rehabilitation implementation process that has been carried out, rehabilitation participants have several social problems is self-acceptance of physical conditions, anxiety of family members regarding conditions experienced by rehabilitation participants, family acceptance of conditions experienced by rehabilitation participants, and difficulty in adjusting to the Pusrehab environment during the rehabilitation process. in handling the problems of rehabilitation participants, social workers do roles like a motivator, counselor, educator, facilitator, advocator, and liaison where the roles very helpful for clients in handling the problems they face. The results of implementing the social workers role in handling the problems of rehabilitation participants shows the changes experienced by the clients.

Abstract

A family is a group of individuals living together, bound by blood relations and marital ties. Withinfamily life, misunderstandings, differing opinions, and contrasting perspectives often arise, leading todisputes or conflicts among family members. In some cases, these disagreements escalate and, if notmanaged effectively, result in separation or divorce. Such familial conflicts can cause fractures or criseswithin the family structure, ultimately leading to the dissolution of the household, commonly referred toas a "broken home." A broken home can have significant negative impacts, particularly on children,with adolescents being especially vulnerable due to the stigma associated with the term, which oftenlabels the family as dysfunctional. When a separation or divorce occurs, adolescents frequentlyexperience feelings of shame, choosing to conceal their family situation from others. As victims of suchcircumstances, they tend to withhold details about their personal lives, seeking solace in trusted friendswith whom they can share their experiences privately. This study explores the private self-disclosure ofadolescents from broken home using the Communication Privacy Management Theory. A qualitativeresearch method was employed, utilizing purposive sampling to select three informants. Data collectiontechniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that adolescentsfrom broken homes disclose personal information consciously and cautiously, carefully selecting friendsto confide in. However, they also choose to withholdor keep highly personal information private, optingnot to share it with anyone.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out how gay self-presentation among heterosexuals and among gays. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The informant in this research is 2 gay people and 2 heterosexual people.The results showed that the communication made by gay has different presentation on the front stage (in heterosexual circles) by displaying the male figure and on the back stage (among fellow Gay) by showing himself the real. But there are two different sides in the Gay itself. Boti as a woman and on the other hand, Gay who is positioned as a man is called Gadun.

Abstract

Gojek Indonesia is a transportation service based on mobile application. Gojek is the first online transportation service in Indonesia. Originally focused on transportation service, Gojek expands the business on more than twenty kind of services which became solution for daily activity. Gojek became one of the biggest platforms of technology that serve many people at Southeast Asia. Gojek’s accomplishment is the result of promotion mix that create an excellent brand image. Based on those contexts, the formulation of a research problem is how far the promotion mix can affect the brand image of Gojek Indonesia. This research uses the concept of promotion mix and brand image. The research method is the positive paradigm with quantity approach of explanatory research. Is the user of Gojek Indonesia who become the followers of @dramaojol.id., the data collection method is surveys. The research instrument is questionnaires that created from Google Form. The data analysis method is the simple regression analysis. The research shows that there is a significant influence of the promotion mix on the brand image of Gojek Indonesia but the effect is sufficient. A promotion strategy is needed that is more attractive and maximizes the use of the dimensions of sales promotion and public relations as an integral part of promotion in order to build a stronger brand image.

Abstract

The phenomenon of millennial workers' self-presentation on social media is still unclear or questionable. Millennial workers are worried about their unclear employment status. Their employment status is still as contract workers. They are still very at risk due to their employee status. Indications regarding their performance assessment still need to be reviewed again by superiors and management. One way they do this is by presenting themselves on social media. Millennial workers did not waste this opportunity, they started presenting themselves with various self-presentation content. This research examines in detail the self-presentation of millennial workers of SKK Migas - PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. Jakarta on social media. This research aims to find out and provide an overview of the self-presentation of millennial workers at SKK Migas PetroChina International Jabung Ltd, Jakarta, which refers to Dramaturgical Theory. To obtain answers from the research, researchers used qualitative research methods with 5 (five) informants using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used were observation, in- depth direct interviews with informants, and creating documentation in the form of notes from interviews with informants as well as photos of millennial workers' self-presentation. The results of this research show that dramaturgy in millennial workers' self-presentation is carried out with full awareness and strong consideration in selecting and sorting the content of self-presentation.

Abstract

Every organization or company must have a program or work plan that will be implemented or realized, but in reality not all can implement their own programs. Organizations, companies, or individuals can ask for assistance to the Event Organizer services to be able to succeed the program. To be able to implement an organization or company program especially the Marketing Public Relations program requires hard work, cooperation, and agreement between the two parties, both the organization or company that trusts to carry out the program to the Event Organizer and the party who receives the trust, so that both of them are equally receiving benefits.
