Abstract

The group categorized as Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) represents communities that experience social vulnerability and therefore require state intervention to enhance their social functioning. In response, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government initiated the Social Services, Supervision, and Control Task Force (Satgas P3S) as the main implementing body for outreach and intervention programs. This study aims to analyze the contextual relevance and effectiveness of the PPKS outreach initiative conducted by Satgas P3S, as well as to identify its supporting elements, challenges, and resulting impacts. The study applied a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing data obtained from observations, structured interviews, and documentation analysis. Research participants consisted of Satgas P3S members, officers from the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), and managers of Social Welfare Institutions (LKS). Data interpretation followed the Miles and Huberman analytical framework, with reliability ensured through method and source triangulation. Results indicate that the outreach initiative provides substantial strategic and operational value but is still constrained by resource limitations, low community engagement, and weak interagency coordination. Through the application of the CIPP evaluation framework, it was found that the program corresponds well with Jakarta’s social context, is supported by adequate input resources, is implemented under established operational standards, and produces meaningful outcomes. In summary, the program contributes positively to mitigating social vulnerability within Jakarta. Nonetheless, further progress requires strengthened cross-sectoral partnerships, improvement of staff competence, and increased public participation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning construction of social semiotics, political relations, and modalities subtitles rhetoric. This study uses Descriptive Research Methods, Social Semiotics research analysis method MAK Halliday, with the constructivist paradigm that sees social reality, as a result of construction, and the truth is a social reality is relative. Construction of meaning as verbal analysis are: speech style is dominated by Ethos style which indicates the case as a result of political engineering Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY); defense (pledoi or white book Anas); Anas personal imaging with style feel "bulliying", as is commonly done SBY. Anas superior construction using non-verbal body language, style of speech SBY duplicated. Anas way to deliver a speech, stressing emphasis on words, phrases, and sentences, with a flat facial expression. Assessment of text-context through social semiotics indicate conflict of interests and power between SBY and Anas Urbaningrum. Style language used is sarcasm (satire) and eufismisme (smoothing). Language modality dominated by modality possibility-sure-confidence. Criticism of the attitude of the language (modality) is the absence of evidence in the trial, so that this speech could be interpreted as political propaganda, maintaining a good image Anas Urbaningrum which in the future will come back to politics after serving his sentence.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of (1) the problems experienced by people with speech-impaired disabilities in participating in skills training, (2) what roles are performed by social workers in trying to solve these problems and (3) how the outputs of social workers' efforts through their roles are: the role he performs. This research is an action research, with case study method. The case analyzed was a group of 12 students from SLB Suryawiyata who were accompanied by social workers in the process of their skills training. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The problems that occur in deaf and speech-impaired students are that students' skills are less than optimal, (2) the role of social workers in assisting students so that the results of optimal skills training are as brokers, educators and facilitators and (3) outputs of assistance by social work is an increase in students' skills in operating computers, skills in dancing and skills in making handicrafts. It is hoped that with optimal assistance efforts, the disabled people with hearing impairment will be transformed into able ones.

Abstract

The quality of the young generation is a reflection for the future of the nation. Character education, academic education, creativity education, and communication education must be implemented properly. Ethics is a very important education because it concerns a person's morality in behaving and communicating. The purpose of this research is to foster good morals and ethics and must be trained and taught to every individual from a young age. Communication ethics are also influenced by moral principles in accordance with the social environment. Communication is not just about talking, conveying messages, receiving messages, and processing them. If children are unable to communicate, then children can have difficulty learning, socializing, and even achieving their goals. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The method used was observation related to the venue and discussion interviews with the management of the Deli River Studio. The implementation of the activity was carried out by providing material and playing together This research activity yielded results in the form of material regarding communication ethics education that was well received by the children of the Deli River Studio. Therefore, the hope in the future is that the children of Sanggar Sungai Deli will get a proper education, especially character education, especially in communication.

Abstract

These studies focus on the symptoms in the use of the communication medium among government agencies. Focus based on the development of convergence media. With the method of measurement, the results showed that in the middle of the situation continues the development of media convergence at this time, the respondent was seen still uses conventional media such as magazines/tabloids, newspapers and television as a means to communicate. In addition, they still look to up date themselves to the development of new media/ convergence. Updateing themselves, proved that they have a range of comunication channels (channel) available in internet such as an e-mail accounts and others.

Abstract

Trauma can be caused by certain conditions or incidents that occur in someone’s life, family, as well as in the society. One of the cases that drives a child into traumatic experience is bacause of the social conflict, such as war. In addition, trauma can also happen due to the natural disasters and violences. Trauma may refers to painful and shocking experiences that that cause a state of human stress.Furthermore, trauma can be also meant as physical and psychological or mental injuries. Post Traumatic Stress is a stress state that experienced after trauma. This condition may also cause someone’s disorder, which is called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. An accomplishment in treatment and recovery of trauma may happen if a client is able to integrate his traumatic experience as a reality of life.

Abstract

Abstract

The background of this research is that people's thinking has begun to open up regarding the livelihoods of communities that have different sexual orientations, especially among the younger generation, but on the other hand there is still discrimination by law enforcement officials and social law by the community. This study focuses on gay privacy management in interpersonal relationships. This study aims to determine the privacy management of gay communication in interpersonal relationships. The theory used in this research is communication privacy management theory. While the method used by using a qualitative approach is descriptive qualitative. This method is used to search for, obtain data, and compile and interpret data that has been obtained from informants. By taking purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Technical data validity using source and method triangulation. The results of the study show that gays are very protective of information about their sexual orientation even with family and close friends. Gays are more likely to close their sexual orientation meetings and only open up to other gays. Some gay informants have introverted, ambiverted, and extroverted characteristics in their social environment, but are still reluctant to provide private information. Private information for some informants is more comfortable with keeping their gay information from the surrounding environment, because the community itself still does not accept the existence of the gay community in society. One of the informants stated that being gay is a disgrace and a disease in society, so he was reluctant to disclose this information. He prefers to ask God for guidance and asks his mother to pray so that he will be better. Informants hope that society can provide space and respect those with different sexual orientations.

Abstract

Understanding the scope of work of Marketing Public Relations (MPR) and Corporate Public Relations (CPR) is important, because if the public relations or marketing practitioners do not understand the scope of their work, performance or results of their work becomes less than the maximum. It impacts on the efficiency and effectiveness of the company itself. Overlapping of work, wastage of time and the cost eventually the company will lose money, and it is not possible the company could go out of business. Overlapping of work, wastage of time and the cost eventually make losses of the company and it is not likely the company could shut downIt is necessary for the correct knowledge and understanding of the tasks and the work of each, both as MPR and CPR, so that both are mutually supportive, complementary and fill each other's deficiencies.

Abstract

This study tried to explain one of the poor farmers groups in Cigorondong Village Pandeglang who made a survival strategy by diversifying their livelihoods. There are two factors behind it, driving factor from place of origin and the pull factor from the destination. After farmers in Cigorondong, Pandeglang, made a strategy to survive by diversifying their livelihood into scavengers in Komplek BMKG Tangerang Selatan, there were several economic and social conditions that had changed. In the economic aspect there is an increase in income. On the social aspect, the changes that occur are the existence of an organic solidarity attitude, namely solidarity that grows based on the division of labor as happens in urban communities. However, they do not abandon their rural social behavior such as obeying norms, mutual cooperation etc.
