Abstract

Islamic education during the Prophet Muhammad’s era served as the primary foundation for building a faithful and God-conscious society. This study aims to describe the model of Islamic education implemented in Makkah and Madinah and its relevance in the modern era. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis applied to various relevant documents. The findings reveal a clear distinction between the two phases of education. In Makkah, education emphasized the strengthening of faith and monotheism (tawhid), aiming to instill the values of divine unity within each Muslim so that they were reflected in daily behavior. Meanwhile, education in Madinah focused more on social and political aspects as a continuation of tawhid-based education, positioning Islamic teachings as the foundation of community life. The model of education in the Prophet’s era holds significant relevance for contemporary Islamic education, particularly in integrating spiritual, moral, and social values to address the challenges of modernity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran tarekat Naqsyabandiah Khalidiyah dalam transformasi pendidikan spiritual untuk menumbuhkan kualitas hidup lansia. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ajaran tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiah pada tataran normatif telah mengispirasi lansia agar selalu ingat kepada Tuhan dan melaksanakan tuntunan agama. Selanjutnya dalam tataran implementatif, tarekat ini mampu menumbuhkan sikap optimis para lansia penganutnya dalam menjalani hidup. Banyak kemudahan dalam mengikuti tarekat ini, seperti kewajiban melakukan dzikir yang waktunya dapat disesuaikan dengan kesanggupan jamaah. Pesan tarekat agar senantiasa dzikir atau ingat Allah dalam segala keadaan telah menambah optimis para penganutnya dalam menjalani kehidupan.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi di era digital memberikan dampak yang besar terhadap dunia pendidikan, terutama pada praktik pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Inovasi media pembelajaran menjadi keharusan agar proses belajar tidak monoton akibat dominasi metode tradisional. Dalam pembelajaran Informatika, kondisi tersebut menyebabkan rendahnya kreativitas peserta didik yang cenderung menghasilkan presentasi dengan tampilan seragam. Data BPS mencatat peningkatan jumlah sekolah menengah atas yang memiliki akses komputer, dari 36,49% pada 2021 menjadi 39,38% pada 2022. Namun, pemanfaatan sarana tersebut belum optimal untuk mengembangkan kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung dalam dua siklus, masing-masing melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Situbondo dengan fokus pada penggunaan Slidesgo sebagai media pembelajaran Informatika. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa integrasi Slidesgo mampu mengubah pola pembelajaran yang sebelumnya konvensional menjadi lebih kreatif, interaktif, dan kolaboratif. Kreativitas siswa meningkat dalam empat indikator utama seperti fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration yang terlihat dari keberanian memodifikasi template, mengombinasikan elemen visual, serta menyusun materi lebih terstruktur dan menarik. Selain itu, motivasi, rasa percaya diri, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa semakin berkembang, sesuai dengan kebutuhan generasi Z serta tuntutan literasi digital abad ke-21. Meskipun terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan jaringan internet dan akses template premium, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Slidesgo dapat berfungsi sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif, adaptif, dan mendukung peningkatan kompetensi kreatif siswa di era digital.

Abstract

Terdapat berbagai macam metode pembelajaran dalam Pendidikan non formal khusus kelas penghafal Qur’an, metode pembelajaran tersebut menyesuaikan dengan kepentingan para pendiri pondoknya masing-masing, sehingga tidak ada formulasi paten terkait metode pembelajaran di pondok tahfidz Qur’an. Saat ini di dunia Pendidikan sedang marak penggunaan metode pembelajaran deep learning dari Pendidikan usia dini hingga Tingkat perguruan tinggi. Penelitian kualitatif studi kasus ini ingin mengungkap secara faktual terkait pembelajaran di pondok tahfidz Al-Amir yang menggunakan atau bisa disamakan dengan metode pembelajaran deep learning dengan tiga pendekatan meaningful, mindful dan joyful yang sedang marak saat ini. Hasil dari penelitian studi kasus di pondok tahfidz Al-Amir yaitu terdapat beberapa mata Pelajaran atau dirosah yang dalam proses pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan meaningful, mindful dan joyful.

Abstract

This important effort in its actualization must certainly consider many aspects, including the learning tools used. It is important to understand that in order to realize this innovative educational concept, it is also necessary to pay attention to the use of appropriate and flexible teaching materials. The teaching materials referred to in this case are teaching modules that can help each educator contextualize the material presented to students. The benefits of the modules themselves are actually fundamental, as they open opportunities for students to be able to adjust their learning needs according to their abilities, conceptualize learning styles, and create engaging learning models. The modules also help educators in conceptualizing effective learning processes that can develop the character and potential of students who are not only intelligent but also independent, skilled, and virtuous. This study aims to analyze the definition of a learning module, the basic principles underlying it, the stages of development and implementation of learning modules in the classroom, and the challenges faced. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, the results of the study indicate that modules have a significant urgency in the teaching and learning process at SMK Arbai Qohhar in Jambangan Village, Paron District, Ngawi Regency. The study results indicate that learning modules play a vital role in creating a structured, independent, and effective learning process. Their implementation enhances student engagement and creativity while facilitating teachers in delivering the material. Despite challenges such as varying teacher competencies and student abilities, modules remain a strategic tool for improving learning quality.

Abstract

Krisis ekologis yang semakin meningkat pada era modern tidak hanya menunjukkan kerusakan fisik lingkungan, tetapi juga mencerminkan krisis moral dan spiritual dalam cara manusia memandang relasi antara dirinya, alam, dan Tuhan. Fenomena seperti perubahan iklim, pencemaran lingkungan, eksploitasi sumber daya alam, serta meningkatnya bencana ekologis menunjukkan lemahnya kesadaran etis dan keimanan dalam pengelolaan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menghadapi krisis ekologi serta menumbuhkan kesadaran iman terhadap alam sebagai bagian dari tanggung jawab keagamaan manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif melalui analisis terhadap berbagai sumber literatur, meliputi buku, artikel jurnal, dan kajian akademik yang relevan dengan ekoteologi Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam menyediakan landasan etika lingkungan yang kuat dan komprehensif melalui konsep tauhid, khalifah, amanah, keseimbangan (mīzān), serta larangan fasād yang menegaskan kewajiban manusia untuk menjaga kelestarian alam. Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai tersebut melalui integrasi materi pembelajaran, pembiasaan akhlak ramah lingkungan, keteladanan guru, serta penguatan spiritualitas peserta didik melalui refleksi terhadap ayat-ayat kauniyah. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran iman ekologis yang komprehensif, mencakup dimensi pengetahuan, kesadaran moral, dan tindakan nyata dalam menjaga lingkungan sebagai bentuk ibadah dan tanggung jawab keimanan. Kajian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis ekoteologi, penguatan kompetensi guru dalam pendidikan lingkungan, serta penelitian lanjutan yang menelaah implementasi pembelajaran ekologis berbasis keimanan di berbagai jenjang pendidikan.

Abstract

Salaf pesantren are confronted with the challenges of the modern era, which require the integration of traditional religious education and formal schooling in order to remain relevant to contemporary demands. This study aims to describe and analyze the process of learning transformation at Pondok Pesantren Mangunsari Nganjuk from the perspective of Kurt Lewin’s theory of change, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing this process. Employing a qualitative research design with a case study approach, the findings reveal that Pondok Pesantren Mangunsari has successfully transformed from a purely salaf system into a dual-track education model by integrating a formal Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) into its educational structure. This transformation aligns with the three stages of Kurt Lewin’s change theory: unfreezing (the emergence of awareness of the need for change), changing (the implementation of innovation through the establishment of the MTs), and refreezing (the institutionalization of the new system through sustainable policies and the formation of a new learning culture). The main inhibiting factor identified is the issue of leadership succession, while a crucial supporting factor is the successful development of a new, loyal, and innovation-oriented community base through Jam'iyah Istighotsah. The study concludes that pesantren are capable of strategically synthesizing tradition and modernity to respond to contemporary challenges without losing their fundamental identity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the strategic role of Islamic counseling and its relevance to student mental health in Indonesia. The role of Islamic counseling for student mental health is to meet the aspirations of the Indonesian nation to realize a golden generation in 2045. Problems in the field indicate that student mental health problems result in mental disorders such as excessive anxiety and moral degradation that require appropriate treatment. The integration of spiritual values ​​in Islamic counseling is a basic requirement in the national education system as a tangible form of scientific contribution. This qualitative research uses a literature study approach. Primary and secondary data are obtained from reliable scientific sources. Data analysis uses content analysis, which examines the concepts, ideas, and values ​​within the research data sources. The results of this study indicate that the integration of Islamic counseling in maintaining student mental health can be done through the tazkiyatun nafs technique. In addition, it can also strengthen students' piety and resilience. This approach, in practice, only addresses clinical symptoms, where these conditions can build a solid foundation of character by guiding students to realize spiritual awareness. Islamic counseling services have been proven to provide a balance between emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence. Counseling services are a fundamental and crucial instrument in creating a generation that is mentally and spiritually strong and has ethical dignity, so that it can become a complete golden generation in 2045. The success of this transformation is none other than the power that has synergy between school counselors, curriculum and religious environment.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a deep learning approach in Indonesian Language instruction at grade XI of SMA Muhammadiyah Lamahala Jaya, East Flores Regency. A qualitative methodology with a case study design was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Research subjects comprised the Indonesian Language teacher and eleventh-grade students. Findings reveal that the application of deep learning’s three core pillars, namely meaningful learning, mindful learning, and joyful learning, significantly enhanced students’ critical thinking skills and self-confidence. The mean post-test score reached 81.6, considerably higher than the 69.2 recorded by the conventional group. Nevertheless, implementation of this approach continues to face notable challenges, particularly inadequate technological infrastructure and insufficient teacher competence in integrating innovative instructional methods. The study recommends intensive professional development for educators and robust institutional policy support to optimize the application of deep learning in senior high schools, especially in remote areas.

Abstract

Educational culture is a fundamental element in shaping the character and identity of students. East Flores, as a region rich in traditional customs, religious values, and social solidarity, has a distinctive and contextual educational culture. However, the development of modern education, which tends to be uniform and oriented towards academic achievement, poses challenges in preserving local values. This study aims to examine the educational culture in East Flores and analyze the urgency of integrating local wisdom into the modern education system. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-qualitative approach to scientific literature, education policies, and relevant research results from the last five years. The results of the study show that the educational culture in East Flores emphasizes a balance between intellectual, moral, social, and spiritual aspects. Families, indigenous communities, religious leaders, and schools play an important role in the character education process. The integration of local wisdom into the curriculum and learning is considered capable of increasing the relevance of education and strengthening the identity of students amid the tide of globalization.
