This journal aims to develop concepts, theories, perspectives, paradigms, and methodologies in the scope of Economics published twice a year, namely June and December. The scope of Balance: Journal of Economics covers Economics and Development, Economic Behavior, Islamic Economic System, International Economy as well as applied sciences of Statistical Economics, Macro and Micro. Article submissions are made using the Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi template accompanied by supporting documents in the form of: a statement of authorship, ethics, and a copyright statement, which can be downloaded on the main page of the Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi website. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is influence in the application of occupational safety and health on the productivity of employees at PT. Leighton contruction Indonesia  site soroako. occupational health and safety is one maintenance form of human resources, in this case maintenance employees means retain employees to remain loyal to the company, improve employee motivation and discipline, improve safety and peace of mind of employees in perform the work, and improve employee performance. The data used in this experience were obtained from questionnaires (primary) and some observations and interviews with employees of PT. Leigthon contruction Indonesia site soroako. The analysis method used is linear regression analysis using hypothesis test, the F test and t test. The results of this study are the results of the regression equation and test data on occupational health and safety on the productivity of the work of the PT.Leigthon contruction, the regression coefficient results and date tests for occupation health and safety variable on the productivity performance of PT. Leigthton  this can be proven by the regression coefficient and data test

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to meet the unlimited needs of life but the level of ability to meet their needs is limited to a problem that often occurs. This is influenced by the level. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of income levels on the level of community consumption in Soppeng district (a case study in Congko village, Marioriwawo district). This researcher uses a quantitative analysis method which is an overview of the effect of income levels on the level of community consumption in Marioriwawo District, Soppeng Regency. The level of population consumption that is measured or generated through the results of partial test calculations with a value of tcount 10.808, this is very influential significantly and has a positive impact on the level of public consumption where t table is 1.988 where the significant value is 0.000 <0.05

Abstract

This reseacrh aimed to determine the effect of cash turnover and receivable turnover on profitability which is proxied partially or simultaneously on Return On Assets (ROA). The method in this study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the tourism and hotel subsector service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010-2019. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling method with units of analysis of 4 companies, data analysis using the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression and statistical tests (t test and f test). Based on data processing the results of this study indicate that partially cash turnover has no significant and significant effect on profitability and accounts receivable turnover has a negative effect but significant on profitability. Simultaneously cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover have a positive and significant effect on profitability.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Sanrobengi Island, Boddia Village, Takalar Regency with the aim of knowing promotional efforts to increase tourist visits in Sanrobengi Island.In this study, data collection techniques were used, including: Observation, Interview (interview), Documents and Documentation. This type of research uses qualitative data with a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of this study indicate that efforts to promote tourism objects in sanrobengi island in increasing tourist visits are: 1. Advertising 2. Sales Promotion 3. Public Relations 4. Word of Mouth Marketing ( WoMM) 5. Direct Marketing (Direct Marketing). There are factors that support and hinder efforts to promote tourism objects in Sanrobengi Island in an effort to increase tourist visits from internal and external sources. Promotion and marketing have an important role in introducing the Sanrobengi Island tourist attraction to the wider community. Besides that, it also serves to increase income for the Sanrobengi Island tourist attraction.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the role of BPK in the management of state finances to realize good governance. By using the type of research method used is qualitative research. Based on the research, it is found that the role of BPK in realizing good governance through the implementation of audits conducted by BPK has been running optimally, this is evidenced by the mechanism for implementing audits in accordance with regulations and auditing standards for state financial management. Based on the description that the role of BPK in seeking the achievement of a good government is one of the absolute elements that must be carried out in the era of implementing and improving sustainable development bureaucracy, and in order to realize the goal of the State in achieving a just, prosperous and prosperous society. In accordance with what has been described and mandated by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in Article 23E, Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 15 of 2006, Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28 of 1999, and Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2003.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, explain and analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of Inflation, Bi Rate and Non Performing Finance on Profitablity. The independent variables used in this study are Inflas, BI Rate and Non Perfoming Finance while the dependent variable in this study is profitability. The population in this study is the 2014-2018 Sharia General Banking Company. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification methods. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, several conclusions are obtained as follows: (1) Inflation partially has a negative effect and significant Profitability at Sharia Commercial Banks in the study period, BI Rate partially has no effect on Profitability at Sharia Commercial Banks in the study period and Non Performing Finance has a negative effect and significant towards profitability at Islamic commercial banks in the research period. (2) Inflation, BI Rate and Non Performing Finance have a positive and significant effect on profitability (ROA) at Islamic Commercial Banks in the study period.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of financial compensation on the performance of employees through job satisfaction in DGT Regional office of South Sulawesi, West Suawesi and South-East Sulawesi.The data were collected by a survey method using questionnaire instruments They grouped into into five groups. Of the 1.701 employee population, there were 352 employees who gave responses. The data were then analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of the SPSS AMOS application. The results show that  financial compensation does not have a significant effect on employees’ performance, but it has a significant indirect effect through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Based on the results of research at SMA Negeri 2 Wajo, information was obtained that there are several factors that influence students' learning difficulties in the eyes of students in economic subjects, namely the interest factor, the talent factor, the motivation factor, the learning ability factor, the teacher factor, the friend factor, parent factor. The procedure for this research was carried out by using the classical assumption test and the normality test of the data of the research subject as many as 67 students from class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2. The data collection technique used was by giving student questionnaires to SMA Negeri 2 Wajo. Based on the quantitative analysis of the data obtained, it is concluded that the interest factor, talent factor, motivation factor, learning ability factor, teacher factor, friend factor, and parental factor affect learning difficulties at SMA Negeri 2 Wajo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of account receivable turnover and inventory turnover on profitability (ROA). The population in this study are automotive companies and components listed on the indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2010 - 2019.The sampling method used was purposive sampling and obtained 4 companies as samples. The research method used a quantitative approach and data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, descriptive statistical analysis, determination analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of multiple linear regression tests show that account receivable turnover and inventory turnover together (simultaneously) has a positive and significant effect on profitability (ROA), because tcount > ttable (5,052 > 3,252), and a significant value of 0,011 < 0,05. Partially, receivable turnover has a negative but significant effect on profitability (ROA), because tcount < ttable (-3,141 < 2,026), and significant value of 0,003 < 0,05. Inventory turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability(ROA), because tcount > ttable (2,488 > 2,026), and significant value of 0,017 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine, understand, and analyze the effect of capital gains and dividends on the volume of stock trading at PT. Unilever Indonesia tbk. the population in this study is the balance sheet financial statement data for 38 years and the sample of this study is 8 years with the sampling used is an associative approach. The statistical tools used are classical assumption test, multiple linier regression, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, 2 party t based on data analysis from 2012 to 2018, it shows that capital gains and dividend distribution have a significant effect on stock trading volume. While the simultaneous capital gain and dividend distribution have no effect on stock trading volume.
