EI increases management abilities to identify and employ emotions, reduce prejudices, encourage teamwork, and propose good decision output. Although EI may not be the panacea to every other managerial issue, implementation of this concept in any leadership development program has been found to enhance the company performance and the involvement of its staff. The conclusion of the research on the matter is emotional intelligence is a very important skill in modern managerial profession, having significant bearing on the effectiveness of leadership and performance in an organization. It is suggested that future studies should focus on exploring the factors, which condition the impact of emotional intelligence on decision-making processes within context.

Abstract

This paper examines the existence of socioeconomic inequalities and their consequences and effects on sustainable development by conducting a quantitative study based on the following indicators: income inequality disparity, educational access, health access against gender disparity. The secondary sources of data were national surveys, as well as socioeconomic databases, and the descriptive statistics were used as the method to measure the levels and variations of these disparities in the population under study. The results show moderate income inequality, low levels of average education, comparatively unequal access to health care accessibility, and a continued gender gap in the rate of enrolment in the labor market and the female participatory representation in politics. These are multidimensional inequalities that have been discovered to be interrelated and there is a common obstruction to the goals of achieving the comprehensive and sustainable development. The study also adds a sheet to the ongoing series of researches by giving the evidence which states the necessity of the specific policies aimed at decreasing the differences and rising the equal access to the opportunities and resources. The need to address these challenges is not only an ethical requirement, but its approach is also required so that sustainable and resilient communities can be developed.

Abstract

This paper will look at how supply chain efficiency will influence profitability of firms operating in the automobile industry in Bekasi Indonesia. The survey to achieve this objective was conducted within 50 automotive firms using quantitative research method wherein structured questionnaires were delivered to measure the key variables of supply chain performance, i.e. inventory turnover, percentage of orders fulfilled, lead time and supplier quality. Paired samples t-tests, multiple regression, ANCOVA, and Pearson correlation were used to find the relationship between these variables and the profitability of a firm. The findings indicate that the turnover rate of finished goods inventory, higher order fulfillment rates, and preferable quality of suppliers bear positive correlation with enhanced profitability and long lead times have a demeriting impact on the financial performance. The results further indicate that the efficiency of supply chain has major impact on profitability, which remains stabile despite many other factors that can affect the results such as company size. These findings support the fact that integrated and effective supply chain practices are important in boosting functional and financial effectiveness in the manufacturing industry. The paper is ranked as a contribution to the literature, as it proves the validity of the application of the theory of supply chain management even to the emerging markets, and to offer practical solutions to the automotive companies, interested in improving their competitiveness with applying effective supply chain optimization. It also suggests utilizing modern technologies to enhance visibility of the supply chain, supply chain agility as well as taking decisions.

Abstract

This study explores the combined effects of emotional intelligence, employee engagement, and psychological well-being on managerial competence within nonprofit organizations. The sector's unique challenges necessitate effective management to balance mission-driven goals with organizational sustainability. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 160 managers through structured questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis, conducted using JASP software, revealed that emotional intelligence, employee engagement, and psychological well-being significantly predict managerial competence. The model with these predictors (M₁) explained 84.7% of the variance in managerial competence (R² = 0.849, Adjusted R² = 0.847) and demonstrated a substantial improvement over the baseline model (M₀) with an R² of 0.000. The coefficients for emotional intelligence (β = 0.450, t = 7.223, p < 0.001), employee engagement (β = 0.473, t = 7.826, p < 0.001), and psychological well-being (β = 0.465, t = 7.419, p < 0.001) were all highly significant. Among these, employee engagement had the strongest impact on managerial competence. The ANOVA test confirmed the model's robustness, with an F-value of 293.461 (p < 0.001), indicating that these variables collectively explain a significant portion of the variance in managerial competence. This study highlights the importance of integrating these factors to enhance managerial effectiveness in nonprofit settings.

Abstract

In the current research, the integration of the Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practice in the retail companies is examined, and its impact on sustainability and corporate performance are analysed. The mode of qualitative design and case-study approach was used, and data were produced by means of detailed interviewing of supply-chain managers and sustainability officers. The findings reveal that implementation of GSCM products, especially green procurement programmes and waste-reduction schemes, does not only help in shrinking the environmental footprint but also enhances the corporate reputation. However, the adoption is limited due to the high set-up fees and poor availability of certified green suppliers hence inhibiting widespread adoption. Summing up, the benefits of engaging in GSCM are significant in the long run; nevertheless, elimination of these barriers is crucial to retail businesses that seek to establish viable and lucrative operations.
