Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) technology is something that is equipped with sensors and software so that it can send data over a network without human interaction. As a result, the Internet of Things can improve connectivity by connecting many devices via the internet, facilitating human interaction with machines. This research was conducted with the aim of increasing efficiency, reliability and innovation in the teaching and learning process. By using IoT, this research focuses on developing interactive and personalized learning media to increase students' understanding of technology. In addition, this research aims to improve teachers' abilities in using information technology to help students learn to use it. In conducting this research, researchers used quantitative methods in carrying out the research. The data obtained by the researcher was obtained through distributing questionnaires presented by the researcher via a goggle from application. The distribution of this questionnaire is carried out by researchers online, and then the results of the distribution of this questionnaire will be processed using an SPSS application. From this research, researchers can conclude that the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology can increase classroom management efficiency. With the help of the Internet of Things (IoT), teachers can monitor and manage classes more efficiently and intelligently by collecting data such as student activity, room temperature, and other information. Thus, IoT allows teachers to make smarter and strategic decisions about classroom management. Based on the results of this research, the impact of integrating IoT technology can provide benefits for teachers and students. Developing digital skills is one of the benefits of integrating IoT technology. By learning how to use Internet of Things technology in learning, teachers can improve their digital skills and increase their ability to use technology to improve the efficiency and quality of education.

Abstract

This research explores vulnerabilities and threats to Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and evaluates effective mitigation measures to address these issues. Using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, this research involved literature studies, surveys, expert interviews, and case analysis to identify and analyze the different types of vulnerabilities and threats faced by AIS. The results showed that human error, software flaws, and system integration complexity are the main sources of vulnerabilities in AIS. The most common threats are cyberattacks, insider threats, and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. The impact of these threats includes financial loss, reputational damage, and significant legal implications.Mitigation strategies identified include the development of robust security policies, the use of cutting-edge security technologies, and the conduct of regular audits and monitoring. The findings emphasize the importance of a layered approach to improving AIS security and reliability. This research provides an in-depth insight into how organizations can identify, evaluate and manage vulnerabilities and threats to their AIS, which is essential for maintaining the integrity, confidentiality and availability of accounting data in an increasingly complex digital age.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based employee attendance information system at PT. Excelindo Karya Abadi, overcoming inefficiencies in the manual attendance process. Using the Waterfall method, this research includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection is carried out through interviews and direct observation so that it becomes the basis of a system that includes the function of recording attendance via selfie photos, managing employee data, and making reports. The system architecture is designed with front-end and back-end components, using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Testing involves black box techniques to ensure functionality and user feedback for system improvement. The implemented system demonstrated significant improvements in the accuracy and efficiency of attendance tracking, reducing the potential for data manipulation and errors. The transition to a web-based system allows for greater accessibility and integration with an organization's existing systems, thereby contributing to increased operational efficiency. The findings show that digital attendance systems can simplify administrative processes substantially, offer reliable solutions for employee attendance management, and align with technological advances to support company growth.

Abstract

Adaptive learning technology is an educational method that uses artificial intelligence and computer algorithms. This learning system can manage students’ interaction pattern during learning activities. The use of adaptive learning technology is able to change students from just receiving information to an active and collaborative part in the learning process. This research was conducted with the aim of improving the quality of education in Indonesia by encouraging teachers to use this technology. This research also aims to provide a better understanding of the potential and weaknesses of adaptive learning technology in improving students’ concept understanding as well as providing stronger guidance for curriculum development and better educational practices.  The method used in this research is quantitative method. This method is a way of collecting numerical data that can be tested. Data is collected through the distribution of questionnaires addressed to students. Furthermore, the data that has been collected from the distribution of the questionnaire, will be accessible in Excel format which can then be processed with SPSS. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the impact of using adaptive learning technology shows that adaptive learning technology can improve the quality of education. Research shows that with the use of adaptive learning technology, it can change teaching methods, learning materials, and can find out the level of learning difficulties faced by these students. From this study, researchers can conclude that the impact of using adaptive learning technology, can improve student understanding and achievement and has the potential to improve the quality of education. with the existence of adaptive learning technology, it is able to increase student involvement and motivation in learning, so that student understanding in learning can be achieved well.
