Abstract

Background & Objective: Based on Bondowoso’s Performance Assessment of Public Health Care in 2014through 2016, there is one aspect of the Performance Assessment of Public Health Care that always belongsto the low performance, it is the aspect of health care coverage. The level of health care coveragesignificantly affect life expectancy. Life expectancy is one indicator in determining backward region. Basedon Presidential Decree No. 131 in 2015 Bondowoso established as a backward region in East Java at the firstplace. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between motivation, job satisfaction and organizationalcommitment of program managers with health care coverage at Public Health Care in Bondowoso 2017.Material and Method: This study used analytic research with cross–sectional approach. Population of thisresearch were 101 program managers with total sample were 81 respondent. Result: An association betweenmotivation (p value = 0.000 <0.05), job satisfaction (p value = 0.000 <0.05) and organizational commitment(p value = 0.007 <0.05) with health care coverage. Conclusion: There is a correlation between Motivation,Job satisfaction and Organizational Commitment with Health Care Coverage.

Abstract

Background & Purpose: Stations are one of the public places that have sanitation facilities and enableenvironmental pollution and diseases including diarrhea, dysentery, typhus, malaria and filiarisis. The aim offinding out the sanitation conditions at Station Karang Asem in Banyuwagi. Material and Methods: thisstudy is an observational study conducted through a sheet of instrument that has been made based onapplicable laws and interview sheets. The assessment instrument consists of 3 main variables that are used asthe foundation in the assessment including the main building variables, sanitation facilities and supportingfacilities at the station. of the 3 variables there are sub-variables and also sub-variables used as ratings.Assessment is done by looking at the total final score of the sum of 3 variable scores. Results: The totalscore of the main building variable 140 means fulfilling 100% sub-variable requirements, 77 sanitationfacilities means fulfilling 50% of the assessment requirements of sub-variables and supporting facilities 97.5means meeting the 21.5% assessment requirements of sub-variables. The total score of Karang Asem stationsanitation is so that station x sanitation is 314.5. Which means in the Good category. Conclusion: KarangAsem Station in Banyuwangi has a Good category in station sanitation assessments, although there stillneeds to be an increase especially in its sanitation facilities.Keywords: station, sanitation, public place.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Musculoskeletal disorders complaints are complaints in the joints, ligaments andtendons which are caused because the muscles receive static loads repeatedly and continuously for a longtime. This study to determine the influencing factors nd musculoskeletal disorder's (MSDs) complaints onthe drivers of Gajah Mada public transportation Medan. Material and Method: The research design wasanalytical survey research method using cross sectional approach. The samples in this study were 30 peoplewho were the total population of public transport drivers. The data analysis using regression linear test.Result: The majority of the drivers are in the majority aged 52-59 years old at 30.0%. The 1-6 year workperiod is 30.0%. Work attitude in the medium category is 90%. Conclusion: There is an influence of age,years of service and work attitude towards musculoskeletal disorder’s complaints on Gajah Mada publictransport drivers Medan. It is also hoped that the driver will use the rest time to relax the muscles that aim tostretch the muscles so as not to cause muscle tension when working.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Fever is a condition of an increase in body temperature. Fever is a condition ofbody temperature above 37.5 ° C. Fever is part of the immune process that is fighting infections caused byviruses, bacteria, or parasites. The aim is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes ofmothers about fever with treatment of fever in children at the shanty clinic.Material and Method: The studydesign used analytical survey research using cross sectional. Technique in this study was accidentalsampling, as many as 47 respondents, and analysis data with Chi-Square statistical test. Result: Knowledgedistribution with a good majority of 20 people (42.6%), Distribution of attitudes with a positive majority of18 people (38.2%). The majority of the handling categories were 32 people (68.1%). Poor 12 respondents(37.5%) with the category of handling The results of the study showed a significant relationship betweenmaternal knowledge of fever and treatment of fever in children with p-value = 0.000, attitude categories withhandling fever in children related to p-value = 0.001. Conclusion: There is a relationship betweenknowledge and attitudes about fever with treatment of fever in children at the Shanty Medan Clinic. Toincrease maternal knowledge about fever by treating fever in children so that the mother is not too worried ifher child has a fever. By monitoring the child's body temperature, compressing the child on the forehead,armpits and folds of the thighs and giving the child plenty to drink.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Recently, disease leprosy is still a health problem in Indonesia with a very high prevalence, i.e. 17.025 cases. The objective of this research was to find out the relationship between knowledge, attitude, family support, and health workers performance toward medication adherence. Material and Method: This research was analytic survey with cross sectional approach, then sampling technique is done by total sampling, i.e. 46 lepers. Data analyzed analytically included univariate and bivariate analysis, at the level of 95%. Result: Chi square test describe that there was a relationship between knowledge (p = 0.002), attitude (p = 0.000), family support (p = 0.001), and the role of health workers (p = 0.004), with the medication adherence. Regular treatment is very important for the lepers to get the cure.. Conclusion: Knowledge, attitude, family support, and the role of health workers have a significant relationship with the medication adherence.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Labor pain can cause stress which can cause excessive hormone release such asketocolamine and steroids. Pain can be reduced by pharmacological techniques and non-pharmacologicaltechniques. Pharmacological techniques using analgesic drugs, while non-pharmacological techniques arepain control by using counterpressure techniques that reduce pain sensations by inhibiting pain from thesource. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counterpressure massage on labor pain kalaone active phase in maternity at BPM Setia. Material and Method: This research is Quasi Experimentalwith one group pretest and posttest design with a population of all mothers giving birth during the activephase at Setia BPM and a sample of 15 respondents. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test.Result: The scale of pain before counterpressure massage was performed in the first phase of activematernity, 9 respondents (60.0%) experienced severe pain, moderate pain as many as 3 respondents (20%)and very severe pain 3 respondents (20%). The scale of pain after counterpressure massage, mild pain 2respondents (13.3%), moderate pain 9 respondents (60.0%) and experiencing severe pain 4 respondents(26.7%). The bivariate analysis showed p-value = 0,000. Conclusion: There were significant differences inpain before and after counterpressure massage in the first maternal phase of active at Setia BPM.Suggestions for midwives to be able to apply counterpressure massage techniques to reduce labor pain whenI am the active phase of maternity.
