Aims: Jurnal Nispatti, Journal of Pedagogy and Educational Studies, aims to provide an academic platform for advancing educational research that integrates reflective, empirical, and theoretical perspectives in the study of pedagogy and learning. The journal encourages scholarly works that move beyond measuring effectiveness to critically explore the meanings, values, and transformative dimensions of pedagogical practices and educational consciousness. It seeks to promote critical and reflective educational thought, connect field-based research with strong conceptual frameworks, and deepen understanding of learning as a process of shaping students’ consciousness, ethical awareness, and intellectual orientation. The journal also facilitates interdisciplinary and cross-context scholarly dialogue across general education, faith-based education, and higher education settings. Focus: Jurnal Nispatti focuses on educational studies that explore pedagogical consciousness, learning relations, and the processes through which learners develop values, thinking orientations, and ethical awareness. This focus includes research examining the interactions among educators, learners, knowledge, and socio-cultural contexts that shape meaning-making, understanding, and learning experiences. The journal highlights reflective–empirical and theoretical approaches to pedagogy, covering conceptual developments, educational practices, and analytical studies across general education, faith-based education, and higher education settings. Scope: Jurnal Nispatti welcomes empirical studies, theoretical papers, and literature-based research that deepen the understanding of pedagogical consciousness, learning relations, and the processes by which learners develop values, thinking orientations, and ethical awareness. The journal’s scope encompasses research examining the interactions among educators, learners, knowledge, and socio-cultural contexts as foundations for meaning-making and educational experience. The scope includes (but is not limited to) studies on reflective pedagogy, consciousness-based teaching practices, learning dynamics in multicultural and cross-traditional educational settings, value and character formation, phenomenological or philosophical approaches to education, curriculum analysis grounded in experience and meaning, and investigations of dialogical, ethical, and transformative learning processes. The journal also embraces critical evaluations and the development of educational practices within shifting social, cultural, and technological landscapes, provided they remain aligned with the reflective–empirical and theoretical pedagogy framework.

Abstract

The practicum method is one form of process skills approach. For high school students, practicums not only train how to use the right tools and materials, but also help their understanding of the chemistry material taught in class. Lack of tools and chemicals is often an obstacle to not conducting practicums. This study is a classroom action research that aims to determine the increase in student motivation and learning outcomes through the practicum method using materials from the environment on the solution material in class XI of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The subjects of this study were 28 students consisting of 9 boys and 19 girls. The study was conducted in three cycles, and each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. The teaching process was carried out through practicums, discussions, presentations, and homework. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes from cycle to cycle. Student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect were ≥ 75.00 in cycle I at 57.2%, cycle II 85.7%, and cycle III 92.9%. The psychomotor aspect value was ≥ 75.00 in cycle I at 75%, cycle II 89.3%, and cycle III 96.4%

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to describe the implementation and implementation of an explicit instruction model using an assessment matrix to build discipline, honesty, and carefulness in students in the productive subject of Facial Care with Technology. This report was prepared using an empirical descriptive method during practical teaching in grade XII of Skin Care at SMK Negeri 1 Sewon. The data collection method used matrices, questionnaires, observation sheets, documentation, photos, and videos. The preparation of this report is also based on character education planning, namely: planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up activities. The application of the assessment matrix in the practical subject of facial care with technology is able to build discipline, honesty, and carefulness in students. The results obtained from its implementation showed that the character of discipline had not yet developed in students, honesty and carefulness began to develop after this activity. As a follow-up to the learning outcomes, students should be accustomed to it by providing a self-assessment checklist for each lesson so that students can control themselves without being asked by the teacher. This assessment matrix can be developed in all practical subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) mathematical reasoning ability before learning with PATARMIN media; (2) the learning process using PATARMIN media; (3) students' responses to learning; and (4) mathematical reasoning ability after learning using PATARMIN learning media. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model. Data were collected through tests, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study show: 1) Students' mathematical reasoning ability before learning with PATARMIN media is classified as low; 2) Things that teachers do are: grouping students, distributing media and student worksheets, orientation of media use, guiding students to conduct experiments, expanding the concepts obtained, drawing conclusions, and evaluation; 3) With PATARMIN media, students are motivated to learn, understand the subject matter, can practice building knowledge themselves, and can solve problems well; 4) Mathematical reasoning ability after being taught with PATARMIN media is classified as good. Aspects that are classified as high are the indicators of the ability to provide explanations through pictures and estimate answers, while those that are classified as low are checking the validity of arguments and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

In this study, a Technology Enhanced Worksheet Inquiry (TEWI) learning resource was developed as an innovative tool to support inquiry-based science learning. The first version, TEWI v1.0, was produced in two formats: a digital book in .epub format and a paper-based version equipped with QR codes to integrate digital content into printed worksheets. The implementation of TEWI v1.0 in classroom learning resulted in a normalized gain score of 59.02%, indicating that this version falls into the average effectiveness category in improving student learning outcomes. Further analysis of the worksheets shows that TEWI v1.0 provides a promising alternative to facilitate meaningful learning experiences, particularly in strengthening students’ scientific practices, inquiry processes, and intellectual skills. The integration of technology within the worksheet design also supports greater interactivity and accessibility to multimedia learning resources. However, several aspects still require improvement, especially in simplifying the explanation of concepts and refining the sense-making process to ensure better clarity for students. These findings suggest that TEWI v1.0 serves as a valuable foundational prototype, but continued development and revision are needed to optimize its pedagogical effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the RAIZ-TEXTURE (Raiz-Telolet Excretory Adventure) application in improving student learning outcomes on the excretory system material, as well as to describe the development process carried out using the ADDIE Research and Development model. Specifically, the study investigates students’ initial learning outcomes before using the application (pretest), the steps involved in designing and developing RAIZ-TEXTURE, the learning outcomes after its implementation (posttest), and the overall effectiveness of the media in supporting student achievement. This research was conducted using an R&D approach with five stages—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—over a period of five months from May to September 2017. The subjects consisted of 39 students of class XI MIA 1 MAN Tenggarong, preceded by a small-group trial involving five students to evaluate the initial feasibility of the application. The pretest results showed that none of the students reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), indicating a low initial understanding of the excretory system. Through the ADDIE process, the RAIZ-TEXTURE application was successfully developed as an interactive learning medium that supports visual, conceptual, and exploratory learning. After implementation, the posttest results demonstrated a significant improvement, with 94.87% of students achieving classical completeness above the KKM. The effectiveness analysis produced a high effectiveness score of 0.7384 (73.84%), showing that the RAIZ-TEXTURE application substantially enhances student learning outcomes on the excretory system material. Thus, this application serves as an effective and engaging digital learning tool for biology instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce a model of Nasi Pecel 3 Rasa in high school chemistry learning; (2) determine the quality of the model of Nasi Pecel 3 Rasa in high school chemistry learning that has been developed. This study is a type of research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model design. The study was conducted at SMAN 2 Kediri. The research data sources include: (1) analysis sources, namely class XI MIPA students in the 2016/2017 academic year, literature, curriculum documents and materials; (2) expert validation sources, namely chemistry teachers of SMAN 2 Kediri, (3) class trial sources, namely 30 class XI MIPA 2 students (experimental class) and 26 class XI MIPA 9 students (control class) in the 2017/2018 academic year. Data were collected using questionnaires, observations, tests. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, and inferential analysis. The results of the research are: (1) the 3 Flavors Pecel Rice model in high school chemistry learning which includes syntax, social systems, reaction principles, support systems, instructional impacts and accompaniments; (2) the 3 Flavors Pecel Rice model in high school chemistry learning which is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

The material basic motion of the catch and throw is the material that must be studied by the fourth grade students. How ever, in the physical education learning process it is often not in accordance with the characteristics of students. In addition, learning is still monotonous and boring so that student learning outcomes are less than optional so it takes teacher creativity that involves students to create of modify learning aids. In this learning innovation making a learning aid for the game of throw and catch. The subject of this innovation work is in fourth grade SDN 4 Jrakah, totalling 19 students in the 2019/2020 school year. The data collection technique used in this learning innovation is to observe using an observation sheet instrument. From the data obtained, there was an in crease in learning outcomes as indicated by the number of students who obtained scores above the minimum completeness criteria (KKM 70). In the initial condition, only 3 students or 16% of student scored above the kkm. Score become 17 students or 89%. The conclution of this learning innovation is that the rosthik game can improve the learning outcames of the basic motion of throwing and catching in SDN 4 jrakah students. In addition, cooperation, motivation, discipline in teaching and learning activities are increased.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of distance learning using document media, Power Point and Video Learning (VIP WALLET) in PPKN learning for students in grade 9.5 at SMPN 38 Medan for the 2020/2021 academic year. The method used is a classroom action research method which consists of two cycles. Before giving the teaching action using the VIP WALLET media, only 32.14% of students had achieved mastery learning, while 67.86% of students had not yet achieved mastery learning. In the first cycle of learning using the media combined with assignments, it was found that 85.7% of students had achieved mastery learning and as many as 14.29% had not yet achieved mastery learning. In the second cycle of learning using VIP WALLET media combined with assignments, it was found that 95.14% of students had achieved mastery learning and only 4.86% had not yet achieved mastery learning. Based on these data it is concluded that the use of document media, PowerPoints and learning videos in learning is proven to increase the effectiveness of distance learning, which is seen from the increase in learning completeness obtained by students from the initial conditions of 32.14% to 85.71% in cycle I and increased to 95.14% in cycle II or in the final condition, there was an increase of 63% from the initial condition.

Abstract

Speaking skills as language skills that can be developed with the youtube vlog media. The purpose of the learning innovation work "Youtube Vlogs to Improve Junior High School Students' Speaking Skills on Critical Response Text Materials" is to describe that the YouTube vlog can be used as a learning medium to improve the speaking skills of Grade IX students on critical response text material. The research subjects were students of class IX. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this study. The data collected in the form of numbers are then summarized descriptively. The results showed that YouTube vlogs can be used as a learning medium to improve the speaking skills of class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pasuruan on critical response text material. The use of YouTube vlogs shows the extraordinary skills of students, from the aspect of speaking skills and the ability to create YouTube vlogs. Of the 34 students, 96% stated that they were happy to create a YouTube vlog about coverage around the city where they live. Achievements above KKM 74.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic outbreak that is currently becoming pandemic in Indonesia is strongly influential in all aspects, one of them is in the education. The world of education gets tremendous impact, particularly for teachers in the learning process, so that learning remains fun even though studying at home. So that teachers have big responsibility to make learning tools as solutions and innovations through the use of various learning tools and online applications. And the Beruang Antik STEAM-based learning media which includes the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics students are built to think critically by learning to solve problems using technological tools and creative learning strategies. Beruang Antik Media can assist students to improve creative thinking skills and communication skills. In the implementation of learning, the Beruang Antik media empowers parental involvement, to direct students to solve problems, encourage students to explore, and find new ways. The parental involvement will make online learning using this Beruang Antik Media run optimally.
