Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) carries profound implications for the moral and ethical order of students, particularly within the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to analyze AI’s disruption of students’ moral development, conduct an epistemological critique of existing PAI approaches, and formulate a model for reconstructing ethical agency based on Islamic values. Using a conceptual qualitative approach through library research, this study integrates perspectives from Islamic moral philosophy, contemporary moral agency theory, and critical analysis of digital education literature. The findings reveal that AI has created a condition of “algorithmic moral passivity,” in which students tend to delegate ethical deliberation to automated systems, resulting in the erosion of moral ijtihad capacity. Grounded in Islamic concepts of ‘aql, nafs, and ikhtiyar, this research proposes a Model of Ethical Agency Reconstruction (MRAE) comprising three dimensions: digital tazkiyatun nafs, technology fiqh, and algorithmic musyawarah. This model is intended to serve as an operational framework for PAI teachers in responding to AI-era challenges in a transformative and contextual manner.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyse forced marriage from the Islamic law perspective, its impact on divorce decisions and sharia mechanisms involved. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive design to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the experiences of couples in forced marriages and the regulation of divorce in this context by Islamic law. The research is based on extensive interviews with couples who have been through forced marriage, with specialists in Islamic law and with sharia attorneys. The data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis to discover patterns and topics connected to the psychological repercussions of forced marriage and divorce systems in Islam. The research shows that being coerced into marriage can make the people involved unhappy, stressed and depressed, and typically leads them to decide to get divorced. Islamic divorce methods through talak (husband initiated) and khulu’ (woman initiated) provide a lawful remedy, taking into account rights such as nafkah iddah and property split to ensure fairness. The novelty of this research is the more in-depth exploration of the use of Sharia processes in divorce due to forced marriages. Forced weddings are rarely explored in previous Islamic law studies. The consequences of this study are essential in the context of Islamic law education, especially in providing a fuller awareness of individual rights in marriage and divorce according to sharia. This work can be a reference for future research on similar subjects in the social and legal fields.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Model Berbasis Masalah dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Eksplanasi Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kedokanbunder Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023”. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan ide-ide atau hasil pemikiran dalam bentul tulis. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1) Untuk mengetahui hasil model pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplansi pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kedokanbunder Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, jenisnya quasy exsperimental design. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa data hasil observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil statistik dengan menggunakan uji t dua independent (Independent Sample t test). Diperoleh t hitung sebesar 2,827 dan t tabel sebesar 1,734. Jadi t hitung > t tabel yakni 2,827 > 1,734. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Hₒ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat dinyatakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kedokanbunder Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, terbukti bahwa penerapan model Berbasis Masalah dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi.

Abstract

Purpose: This article develops and sharpens an Ulil Albab-oriented ethical leadership framework for Islamic higher education, with particular relevance to business and economics programmes that are expected to integrate professional competence, moral reasoning, spiritual accountability, and public responsibility. Design/methodology/approach: The study uses an integrative literature review to synthesize seminal and recent scholarship on ethical leadership, Islamic work ethics, spiritual leadership, moral identity, institutional ethics climate, and Ulil Albab education. The analysis is organized around four conceptual categories: moral person, moral manager, Islamic virtue-based leadership, and institutional ethics climate. Findings: The review indicates that ethical leadership in Islamic higher education cannot be reduced to compliance, charisma, administrative control, or symbolic religiosity. It becomes educationally transformative when leaders embody amanah, justice, consultation, truthfulness, benevolence, and maslahah while institutionalizing these values through transparent assessment, academic integrity systems, service learning, reflective pedagogy, and quality assurance. The proposed model positions Ulil Albab ethical identity, expressed through dhikr, fikr, and amal, as a mediating mechanism between Islamic ethical leadership and student/institutional ethical outcomes. Institutional ethics climate strengthens this relationship by converting values into daily academic routines. Originality/value: The article contributes a theoretically grounded and testable model that links modern ethical leadership theory with Islamic educational anthropology. It offers propositions, operational indicators, and empirical research directions for future studies in Islamic business and economics education.
