Abstract

Fujiyama store is a business engaged in the sale of office stationery needs and equipment where the sales system in the Fujiyama store still applies the manual method in its business processes. The purpose of making this web-based information system is to produce information such as product data as needed and reduce problems that are often encountered. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and literature studies. The analysis technique uses object-based techniques using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling language. The system design application used by Web programming is Visual Studio Code and the programming language used by the author is PHP, HTML, and storage applications using MySQL. The results of the research are in the form of a web-based sales information system that can make it easier to market products with a wider sales range, simplify product data searches, help expedite company operational activities, as a tool to speed up the process of calculating transactions, and make it easier for customers to make purchases through website that can be accessed 24 hours. The conclusion of the research is that it can facilitate sales with a wider range and make it easier for consumers to shop, and produce more detailed product information. The author suggests that the system that is made does quality development on the appearance of the system design with attractive and complete features, so that problems that occur can be handled. Abstract

The presence of an inventory and sales information system at PO Hoki Abadi aims to assist store performance in managing valid data and information. However, at present, it creates many problems that are difficult to solve in the manufacture of reports that are specifically printed manually. The number of customers who came, made the employees at the store overwhelmed with the manual workings of the system. Therefore, the success or failure of a Hoki Abadi PO in managing data and information will greatly affect the accuracy of the data generated. The form of research and data collection methods used by the author are interviews, observations and literature studies. The author uses analysis techniques and system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling using Star UML, in designing this information system the author uses Visual Basic .Net 2010 programming language, Crystal Report, SQL Server 2008 as a database. This research produces an inventory and sales information system that is expected to facilitate service and speed up the data processing process so that the decision-making process is faster and more precise and can improve the company's performance in its operations. The design of this inventory and sales information system is expected to help facilitate activities in managing data and information available at the PO Hoki Abadi store. Abstract

Information Systems Purchase and Sale of Goods is a system that provides information services in the form of data sales and purchase of goods and goods. The existence of this information system is important. In this case, Toko Kasih Duato serve as a place of research, because the system of sales information and purchases of goods in place has not been well managed so often there is a mistake in making existing reports, such as data processing transaction sales, data processing purchase transaction, data processing goods, and member supplier data processing. The purpose of this study is to provide convenience at the time of data processing of goods, customers and suppliers, facilitate the processing of sales and purchase transaction data, minimize errors in the recording of data purchases and sales data per period. The purpose of the research produced several uses consisting of practical and academic uses. Writing used by the author for this thesis is descriptive research design that tries to describe the object or subject in carefully as it is, While the method of data collection the author using Obsevation method, interview and Document Research, for system analysis techniques used by the authors in research on Toko Kasih Duato this is, Unified Modeling Language (UML), System design techniques used programming language used to build the system and its manufacture is a programming language Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft Office Access 2007 for designing databases, and reports printed using Crystal Report 8.5. Abstract

Android smartphone is one of device that has been used a lot by society. This device is also often used as a medium for information exchange. Android device also has a relatively small memory storage compared to laptop and computer. File compression is a technique used to shrink a file’s size. Using this technique, a file inside an Android device then can be shrunk so it can save the storage space. Besides that, this compression technique is also useful to speed up information exchange because the size of information sent become smaller. The compression algorithm used is Lempel-Ziv 77. This compression algorithm is able to produce a compressed file with 0,4 ratio compression on text and bitmap image filetype. This compression application is effective to be used on text and bitmap image file if the user wanted to save their storage space. Keywords: Android, Compression, File, Lempel-Ziv 77, Lossless
