This research method using Research and Development approach to model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subject of this research development are the first grade of Installation Technique of Electricity Power at SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang as much as 118 students and 3 teachers on Basic electronics subject of SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang. Furthermore, data collected by the questionnaire and test. Test validity and reliability for the question form is done with a technique Pearson Correlation coefficient obtained 0.88 and coefficient value of Cronbach's Alpha is 0.892. The results of this research are showed that: 1) the basic electronics learning modules based on problem solving that developed in its entirety was declared eligible for use, with the result average of validation of material categories include very decent, and the result average of validation of media categories include very decent too. The readability is included in category of very decent and in terms of learning to use the modules is included in the category of very decent. Using modules in the learning process are known there is increasing with the average value of the students learning outcomes of 68.53 rises to 80.24. T-test analysis results known tcalculate = 11.76 and ttable = 1.69 which means that the student learning outcomes has a significant improvement

The objective of this study was to determine the effects of the family environment, the previous school environment, the social environment, and the students' attitude on the choice of the mechanical engineering expertise program in Vocational High Schools (VHSs) by the graduates of Junior High Schools. This was a correlational study which was ex post facto in nature. The study population totaled 1095 students. The sample, consisting of 300 students, was selected using the proportional random sampling technique by means of the Krejcie and Morgan formula. The data were collected through inventories, observation sheets, and documents. The content validity was assessed through expert judgment. The construct validity was assessed using the factor analysis and the reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha formula. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that, there were significant effects of the family environment, the previous school environment, the social environment, and attitude in the choice of mechanical engineering expertise program in VHSs by the graduates of Junior High Schools

The study was to: (1) find the most effective agrobusiness technical training and education model for the Field Agricultural Extension Officers to be implemented; and (2) to identify the knowledge level, the highest agrobusiness skills and the strongest self-confidence that might be achieved by the participants through the implemented training and education patterns. The study was conducted by means of experiment method with the regular pattern of training and education program as the control and the mentoring pattern of training and education program as the treatment. The three patterns of training and education programs served as the independent variables while the knowledge, the skills and the self-confidence served as the dependent variables. The study was conducted in three locations namely: the Institution of Agricultural Human Resources Development in the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region (Balai Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Pertanian Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta – BPSMP DIY); the Institution of Agricultural Human Resources Empowerment (Balai Pemberdayaan Sumber Daya Manusia Pertanian – BPSDMTAN Soropadan Temanggung Provinsi Jawa Tengah) in Soropadan, Temanggung, the Province of Central Java; and the Institution of Training and Education in Semarang, the Province of Central Java (Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Semarang Provinsi Jawa Tengah). The study was conducted to all of the participants who attended the agrobusiness technical training and education program and, therefore, all of the participants became the subjects of the study. The study was conducted from October 2013 until March 2014. The results of the study showed that: (1) there had not been any significant difference on the knowledge and the skills of the participants who attended the regular pattern in training and education programs and those who attended the mentoring pattern in training and education programs; (2) the regular pattern in training and education programs and the mentoring pattern in training and education programs had significant difference on the field agricultural extension officers' self-confidence (t count = - 2.28; p = 0.03) and (t count = - 2.41; p = 0.02); and (3) the mentoring pattern in training and education programs showed very significant difference on the agrobusiness skills (t count = - 4.94; p = 0.00). The mentoring pattern in training and education programs showed significant changes in improving the field agricultural extension officers' skills and confidence for about 9.43% and 7.75% respectively in implementing the agrobusiness activities compared to the other patterns of training and education programs.

This study was a research and development. The media developed employed Ulead software with video player application. The development stage was conducted using Hannafin and Peck's development and implementation model. The instruments employed in this research were questionnaire and test. The results of interview and observation were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method, while questionnaire and test using descriptive quantitative one. Considering the result of analysis on the effectiveness of archiving simulation video using IBM SPSS 20 software with t-test formula, it could be found that the t-statistic value of posttest was 4.16 for both experiment and control classes with t-table score of 2.00; thus, tstatistic > ttable meaning that the improvement of learning outcome value for experiment class was better than that for control class. The learning outcome for experiment class showed the mean post-test score of 80.28 while that for control class of 70.56. The difference of mean posttest score between experiment and control classes was 9.72 point. The conclusion of research was that the archiving simulation video was feasible and effective to be used to improve the students' learning outcome.

The distribution of services using information system technology greatly helps stakeholders. There were still frequent errors found in the management of scheduling lab work in the Laboratory services which had not using the laboratory information system yet. This paper presents the development of laboratory management information system which facilitate scheduling lab work, a case study at Electrical Engineering Laboratory of UniversitasNegeri Semarang. The steps of constructing this system started from the data collection phase, design phase, and construction phase. This information system was built by using laravel framework based on MVC (Model-View- Controller). The system was created by using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The information system was created to ease and facilitate the Chairman of the Laboratory, Laboratory Institution of Education, and students in monitoring laboratory activities, including data lab work, voting laboratory scheduling data, the data of lecturers, the data of subjects and laboratory data of Electrical Engineering . Based on the test result, SIMLAB is effective enough to be applied in Electrical Engineering laboratory Universitas Negeri Semarang.

The purpose of the study was to investigate whether or not there is a significant effect of silent short movie on EFL writing achievement of the vocational high school students. This study was quasi-experimental using a nonrandomized control group, pretest-posttest design. There were 61 students who were selected randomly from the 10 classes of tenth-graders of the 6th State Vocational School in Samarinda. The instruments used in the study was writing test. The result revealed that the vocational high school tenth grade students who were taught by silent short movie (M = 8.01, SD = .32) got significantly different achievement in EFL writing than did the vocational high school tenth grade students who were not taught by silent short, t(58) = -2.22, p = .030. This result suggests that the writing aspects which the students significantly outperformed were text organization, sentence formation, grammar, vocabulary, mechanics, and tidiness.
