Evaluasi dan Penilaian: Asesmen hasil belajar, evaluasi kompetensi fisik, rubrik penilaian pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga. Kajian Interdisipliner: Integrasi olahraga, kesehatan, pendidikan, seni, lingkungan, kepemimpinan, dan pendidikan demokrasi untuk mendukung pembangunan kualitas individu dan masyarakat. Abstract

Handwashing with soap (HWWS) is a healthy hygiene habit that effectively prevents infections in school-aged children. Low knowledge among elementary school students about HWWS poses a health issue in school environments. This study analyzes the impact of HWWS education on elementary school students' knowledge levels. The design is a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. Conducted at one elementary school with 29 students. Education delivered through counseling, demonstration, and direct practice. Knowledge measured via questionnaire before and after. Average scores before education were 6.3, rising to 8.9 afterward. Wilcoxon test: Z = −3.859, p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference. This increase aligns with health promotion theory: accurate information tailored to developmental stages boosts knowledge and fosters positive health behaviors. Demonstration and practice are effective for elementary kids due to engaging, applicable learning. Conclusion: HWWS education significantly improves elementary students' knowledge, supporting early adoption of clean and healthy living habits.

Abstract

Writing learning is a productive language skill that plays a crucial role in developing students' critical, creative, and systematic thinking skills at the elementary and secondary levels. However, the practice of writing learning still faces various challenges influenced by internal and external factors. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the factors influencing writing learning based on a review of the latest literature. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive analytical approach to reputable national and international journal articles relevant to writing learning. Data sources were obtained through searches of scientific databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, and Scopus with publications spanning the last ten years. Data analysis was conducted thematically by grouping research findings into internal and external factors. The results of the study indicate that internal factors include language ability, intrinsic motivation, and student creativity, while external factors include teacher teaching strategies, feedback quality, the learning environment, and the use of digital media and technology. The interaction between internal and external factors has been shown to play a significant role in determining the success of writing learning. Effective writing learning requires a holistic approach that integrates strengthening language skills, increasing student motivation and creativity, and the application of adaptive and technology-based pedagogical strategies. The findings of this study are expected to provide a theoretical and practical foundation for educators in designing meaningful and relevant writing lessons to meet the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This research aims to reconstruct the basic concepts, development, and renewal of the curriculum from a contemporary educational perspective through a literature study approach. Social change, technological developments, and the demands of globalization are driving the education system to continuously adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of 21st-century students. This study employed qualitative methods with a literature review approach, drawing on various recent scientific sources, such as national and international journals, academic books, and educational policy documents. The results indicate that the basic concept of the curriculum has shifted from a content-oriented approach to a competency- and character-based approach. Furthermore, curriculum development is no longer solely top-down but involves the active role of teachers as curriculum developers at the educational unit level. Curriculum renewal also emphasizes flexibility, learning differentiation, and the integration of digital technology into the learning process. Other findings indicate that the success of curriculum renewal is greatly influenced by teacher readiness, policy support, and the local socio-cultural context. Thus, curriculum reconstruction from a contemporary educational perspective requires a synergy between innovation, adaptation, and sustainability to create an education system that is responsive and relevant to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

The transformation of Islamic education in Java during the Demak, Pajang, Mataram, Cirebon, and Banten kingdoms demonstrated a dynamic development process in line with the spread of Islam and changes in the socio-political structure of Javanese society. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic education, the role of the kingdom and ulama in its development, and the characteristics of the educational system in each Islamic kingdom in Java. The study employed a literature study method by reviewing various sources, including books, scientific articles, journals, and relevant historical documents. The results show that Islamic education evolved from simple teachings in mosques and surau (prayer rooms) to more structured Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). During the Demak period, Islamic education focused on da'wah (Islamic preaching) and the formation of the foundations of Islamic teachings through the role of the Wali Songo (Nahdlatul Ulama). The Pajang period marked the consolidation of pesantren-based education. During the Mataram era, Islamic education was integrated with palace culture and traditions, forming a distinctive Javanese-Islamic character. Meanwhile, Cirebon and Banten developed as centers of Islamic education based on trade and international ulama networks. This transformation demonstrates that Islamic education functions not only as a medium for transmitting religious knowledge but also as a social, political, and cultural instrument in shaping Islamic society in Java. In conclusion, the development of Islamic education during the Islamic kingdoms in Java contributed significantly to the formation of scholarly traditions, Islamic boarding school culture, and the identity of the Indonesian Muslim community, which persists to this day.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify and describe the characteristics of social interactions among individuals with sanguine personality types. A qualitative approach with a descriptive design was employed. Three research subjects were selected through purposive sampling based on sanguine personality criteria. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing  with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that sanguine individuals exhibit communicative, expressive, sociable, and adaptive characteristics in social interactions. They demonstrate strong abilities in initiating conversations, building new relationships, and sustaining meaningful social bonds, alongside effective emotional management skills. However, tendencies toward unstructured communication and trivial conversations were also noted. Personality, family environment, and peer circles were identified as key influencing factors. This study contributes a nuanced, empirically grounded portrait of sanguine social interaction patterns, offering a novel qualitative perspective that enriches personality-based approaches in social psychology research.

Abstract

Life skills education is an important approach to addressing educational challenges in the modern era. Technological developments, globalization, and social changes require students to possess not only academic competence but also life skills that support independence, creativity, communication, problem-solving, and readiness for future careers. This study aims to examine the implementation of life skills education in fostering students’ independence and competence through a literature review method. Data were obtained from 27 references consisting of scientific articles, national journals, and books relevant to the research topic. The results indicate that life skills education contributes significantly to shaping independent character, improving social competence, developing vocational abilities, and strengthening students’ readiness to face modern life challenges. The implementation of life skills education is carried out through contextual learning, practical activities, entrepreneurship programs, character education, and the integration of technology into learning processes. For example, schools can implement life skills education through entrepreneurship projects, collaborative learning activities, digital literacy training, and practical skill programs that encourage students to become active, creative, and independent learners. Furthermore, life skills education supports the development of critical thinking, decision-making, communication skills, and adaptability to technological and social changes. However, several challenges remain, including limited facilities, insufficient teacher readiness, and the lack of optimal curriculum integration. Therefore, collaboration among schools, families, and communities is necessary to strengthen the implementation of life skills education. Through effective implementation, students are expected to become competent, creative, independent individuals who are better prepared to face the dynamics and demands of life in the modern era.

Abstract

The development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in higher education continues to evolve in response to globalization, technological advancement, and the demand for 21st-century competencies. One widely adopted approach in curriculum development is Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which emphasizes graduate learning outcomes as the primary orientation of education. This study aims to examine the development of an OBE-based PAI curriculum in higher education through a systematic literature review approach. The research method employed a literature study by collecting relevant scientific sources, including journals, books, articles, and educational policy documents related to the implementation of OBE in higher education. A total of 21 literature sources were analyzed to ensure the transparency, validity, and rigor of the review process. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques through data reduction, classification, and interpretation stages. The findings indicate that the implementation of OBE in the PAI curriculum contributes to improving learning quality by emphasizing students’ spiritual, academic, social, and professional competencies. Furthermore, OBE promotes student-centered learning and strengthens outcome-based assessment practices. However, the implementation of the OBE-based PAI curriculum still encounters several challenges, such as limited lecturer understanding, insufficient training, and difficulties in developing authentic assessment instruments. Therefore, institutional policy strengthening, lecturer capacity building, and the development of a systematic evaluation framework are required to ensure the effective and sustainable implementation of OBE in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in higher education institutions. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions and practical implications for curriculum development in Islamic higher education institutions practice.

Abstract

Majelis ta'lim is a non-formal Islamic educational institution that plays a vital role in fostering community morality. Amidst increasingly complex globalization and social change, society requires a platform for religious education capable of strengthening moral, spiritual, and social values. This study aims to examine the role of religious education within majelis ta'lim as a means of fostering community morality through a literature review approach. The method used is a literature study by collecting various scientific sources in the form of journals, articles, and books relevant to the research theme. The results of the study indicate that majelis ta'lim functions as a medium for religious education, character formation, strengthening social values, increasing religiosity, as well as a means of da'wah and community empowerment. Religious education within majelis ta'lim can shape community behavior that is more religious, disciplined, responsible, and caring for the social environment. In addition, regular recitation activities, religious lectures, Islamic discussions, and moral development are important factors in instilling moral values ​​in the congregation. Majelis ta'lim also plays a role in strengthening social relations through social gatherings and mutual cooperation activities. However, several challenges remain, such as low participation by the younger generation, limited facilities, and the influence of modernization, which can reduce the effectiveness of moral development. Therefore, innovation in learning methods and strengthening the management of Islamic study groups are necessary to ensure their relevance to the needs of modern society. Thus, Islamic study groups remain strategic religious educational institutions in shaping a society with morals and Islamic character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of partnerships between parents and schools in supporting the improvement of Qur’an memorization (tahfizh) among third-grade students at SD Pintar. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving the principal, tahfizh teacher, parents, and students as research subjects. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the partnership is carried out through intensive communication between school and parents, the use of control books, and digital communication via WhatsApp groups. In addition, there is an integration of memorization activities between school and home through structured muroja’ah practices, ensuring learning continuity beyond the classroom. Parents play a dominant role in supporting students’ memorization by guiding repetition, providing motivation, and creating a supportive religious environment at home. The study further shows that this partnership has a significant impact on improving students’ memorization quality in three main aspects: academic, psychological, and behavioral. Academically, students demonstrate improved quantity and accuracy of memorization. Psychologically, students show increased motivation and self-confidence. Behaviorally, students develop better discipline and responsibility in completing memorization tasks. However, the implementation still faces challenges such as limited parental time and variations in students’ basic Qur’anic reading abilities. In conclusion, the partnership between parents and schools is a crucial factor in the success of the tahfizh Al-Qur’an program. Effective collaboration creates a continuous learning system between school and home and contributes significantly to students’ holistic character development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze junk food consumption patterns, contributing factors, and their impact on the health of students at the STIPAS St. Sirilus Ruteng Female Dormitory. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects were female dormitory students who habitually consume junk food such as instant noodles, fried foods, fast food chicken, and sweetened drinks. The results showed that junk food consumption in the dormitory environment is relatively high, with a frequency of 3–6 times per week. The main influencing factors are practicality, time constraints due to academic activities, peer influence, and easy access to fast food around the dormitory. These findings highlight that the dormitory environment plays a significant role in shaping students’ fast-paced eating behavior in the context of modern digital lifestyles. From a health perspective, junk food consumption has negative impacts such as fatigue, digestive problems, decreased concentration in academic activities, and weight gain. If continued, this condition has the potential to increase the risk of non-communicable diseases such as obesity and metabolic disorders. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of nutrition education and promoting healthy lifestyle habits in the dormitory environment. This research contributes by providing context-specific evidence on junk food consumption patterns within a female dormitory setting, which can serve as a basis for developing targeted health promotion and preventive programs to improve student well-being.
