Abstract

In the era of digital transformation and scientific advancement, the thesis is one of the academic requirements that must be completed by students of the Bachelor (S1) program, a scientific product that is in accordance with the peculiarities of the S1 Nursing study program with the characteristics of an emergency. This study aims to analyze the thesis titles of S1 Nursing students at ITSKes Insan Cendekia Medika Jombang in 2023– 2025 with a bibliometric approach using VOSviewer software. The background of this research is based on the gap between the topic of the student's thesis and the peculiarities of the study program that emphasizes the field of emergency nursing. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with co-word, co-occurrence, and citation analysis techniques. The data used came from 177 titles of student final projects obtained from institutional repositories, data was analyzed through three types of visualizations in VOSviewer, network, density, and overlay visualization. The results of the study show that the dominant topics in students' theses revolve around community nursing and general issues such as stress, sleep quality, nutritional status, hypertension, and adolescent and elderly behavior. Emergency topics such as trauma, triage, resuscitation, and disaster management appear only very limited, both in keywords and abstract content. The VOSviewer visualization shows an imbalance in the distribution of themes, suggesting that the main focus has not yet reflected the peculiarities of the study program. The conclusion of this study is that student research trends are not fully in line with the vision, mission, and scientific characteristics of the S1 Nursing study program that is oriented towards emergency nursing. Therefore, academic strategies are needed such as topic briefings by supervisors and library officers who can provide recommendations for research topics in accordance with the characteristics of the study program, as well as the preparation of superior topic policies based on bibliometric analysis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to outline how the Semarang Regency Archives and Library Office promotes social inclusion through initiatives that broaden access, boost community involvement, and cultivate empowerment. Data was gathered using a descriptive qualitative method that included document analysis, observations, and interviews. According to the findings, the library has evolved from a conventional book collection to an active supporter of social inclusion initiatives including ICT, cooking, sewing, and culturally-based activities. Although there are still restrictions on comfort, accessibility for people with disabilities, and resource sustainability, the facilities that are provided support a variety of activities. Roles as teachers, participants in the program, and proposers of future activities all demonstrate community involvement. Participation obstacles were also noted, including differences in availability and age and gender. Increased skills, economic independence, social solidarity, and community involvement in literacy and cultural development are just a few of the observable effects of the inclusion initiatives. In summary, the Semarang Regency Archives and Library Office is an important social change agent that empowers communities, promotes active participation, and facilitates access. However, more policy support, program diversity, and infrastructure improvements are still required.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has expanded the meaning of literacy from merely reading and writing skills into a more complex competence encompassing digital, media, and information literacy. The main problem addressed in this study is how basic literacy supports multiliteracy skills in the digital era, and how the integration among various literacy types can shape critical and creative thinking capacities in facing modern information flows. This research aims to analyze the strategic role of basic literacy as the foundation for multiliteracy development and to examine its integration within Indonesia’s educational and literacy culture context. The method used is library research with a conceptual analysis of 30 recent national and international scholarly sources. The findings indicate that basic literacy plays a central role in developing effective multiliteracy, serving as the basis for critical, logical, and ethical reasoning in processing digital information. The integration of basic, media, technological, and visual literacy forms an adaptive multiliteracy framework suited for contemporary challenges. It is concluded that reading and writing literacy is not merely an initial learning stage but a strategic pillar sustaining all forms of modern literacy. The study recommends that strengthening basic literacy should become a national policy priority and be integrated into educational curricula to prepare Indonesian society to engage critically, creatively, and responsibly in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of services provided by the Universitas Sebelas Maret Library Situs web based on user perceptions. The assessment focuses on five key dimensions of the Delone and McLean information system success model: system quality, information quality, service quality, use, and user satisfaction. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed in this study, with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 30 active UNS students who had experience using the library website. The findings reveal that all dimensions received high scores, with user satisfaction being the highest (effectiveness 93.4%, efficiency 90%). System quality, information quality, and use also received positive evaluations. However, the service quality dimension, particularly in terms of speed and responsiveness, still requires improvement. These results highlight the importance of enhancing digital service responsiveness and integrating library services into the broader online learning ecosystem. This study contributes to the development of user perception–based evaluation systems for digital information services in higher education, and offers strategic recommendations for improving the quality and sustainability of digital library service usage.
