Abstract

This research is motivated by the important role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing students' morals amidst technological developments and increasingly complex social environments. This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing students' morals and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of developing students' morals at SMP Negeri 2 Rangsang Pesisir. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers act as educators, guides, motivators, role models, and supervisors in developing students' morals through learning, role models, advice, and religious activities at school. Supporting factors in this research include school support, cooperation between teachers and parents, and school religious activities. Obstacles encountered include the influence of social media, the social environment, and a lack of attention from some parents to developing students' morals.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing Islamic Religious Education (ISE) in shaping students' morals amidst the changing times and the influence of globalization, which increasingly influence student behavior. Islamic Religious Education plays a crucial role in instilling religious values ​​and shaping students' character, leading to noble morals. This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (ISE) in shaping students' morals, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors at Pekanbaru's Quranic Science Junior High School. This study employed a qualitative approach with descriptive research. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants included the principal, ISE teachers, homeroom teachers, and students. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicate that the implementation of ISE through classroom learning, religious activities, and teacher role models. These activities can improve students' discipline, responsibility, and religious attitudes. Supporting factors include school support, teacher competence, and Islamic school culture, while inhibiting factors include external environmental influences, social media, and lack of family supervision.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping a generation with noble morals amidst the changing times and technological advances that influence student behavior. The moral crisis occurring in communities and schools demonstrates the importance of strengthening character education based on Islamic values. This study aims to determine the contribution of the hadith to the development of character education and to analyze the implementation of hadith values ​​in character formation in students. The study used a qualitative approach with library research. Data were obtained from hadith books, books, journals, and various literature related to character education from an Islamic perspective. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis, examining the meaning of the hadith as it relates to the values ​​of character education. The results indicate that the hadith plays a significant role in the development of character education through the values ​​of honesty, discipline, responsibility, compassion, and tolerance. The implementation of hadith values ​​can be achieved through teacher role models, school practices, and the role of families in shaping students' behavior with noble morals in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping the character, morals, and spirituality of students amidst increasingly complex developments. However, the current Islamic Religious Education learning process still faces various challenges, such as a decline in students' morals, a lack of role models, and theoretical learning methods. Therefore, an educational concept based on the Qur'an is needed as the primary guideline for learning. This study aims to determine the educational concept based on the Qur'anic values ​​in Surah An-Nahl, verse 125, and analyze its implementation in Islamic Religious Education learning strategies. This study used a qualitative approach with library research. Data were obtained from the Qur'an, tafsir books, hadith, books, and relevant scientific journals, then analyzed using content analysis. The results show that Surah An-Nahl, verse 125, contains three main principles of Islamic education: wisdom, mau'izhah hasanah, and mujadalah billati hiya ahsan. These three principles can be implemented through humanistic learning strategies, role models, interactive dialogue, and moral development, thereby developing students who are knowledgeable, have noble morals, and possess Islamic personalities.

Abstract

Family education plays a crucial role in shaping a child's character, morals, and faith. However, technological advancements, promiscuity, and a lack of parental attention to religious education have led to a decline in children's morals. This situation highlights the importance of understanding parental responsibility in educating children based on Islamic teachings. This study aims to understand the concept of parental responsibility in educating children from the perspective of Surah At-Tahrim, verse 6, and to analyze the implementation of its educational values ​​in family life. This study employed a qualitative approach with library research. Data were obtained from the Quran, hadith, tafsir (comprehension texts), books, and scientific journals relevant to the research theme. Content analysis was used as the data analysis technique. The results show that Surah At-Tahrim, verse 6, emphasizes parents' responsibility in safeguarding the family through education in faith, worship, morals, role models, and supervision of children. The implementation of these educational values ​​can shape a generation of faithful, pious, and noble characters in accordance with Islamic teachings.
