Abstract

This study investigates the role of transformational leadership and organizational culture as key determinants of sustainable performance within organizations from a strategic management perspective. By integrating transformational leadership practices such as inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration with strong organizational culture, organizations can enhance operational efficiency, innovation, and long-term performance outcomes. The study highlights how the alignment of leadership style and cultural values fosters employee engagement, adaptive decision-making, and the effective implementation of strategic objectives. While these factors can drive sustainable performance, challenges may arise, including cultural resistance, misalignment between leadership and organizational values, and insufficient mechanisms to measure long-term outcomes. A strategic, phased approach emphasizing the development of leadership competencies, reinforcement of supportive cultural practices, and the use of integrated performance metrics can overcome these barriers and promote continuous improvement. Ultimately, transformational leadership combined with a robust organizational culture contributes not only to enhanced efficiency and performance but also to sustainable growth, competitive advantage, and a culture of excellence.

Abstract

The crime of corruption is an extraordinary crime that has a broad impact on the morality of the nation, social justice, and the sustainability of national development. In the Islamic perspective, corruption is not only seen as a violation of positive law, but also as an act of great sin that contains elements of betrayal of trust and creates social damage (fasad fil-ardh). Therefore, handling corruption is not sufficient through legal instruments alone, but also requires a moral and spiritual approach based on the values of the Qur'an and hadith. This article aims to examine the implementation of corruption crimes in the perspective of tafsir and hadith by examining Qur'anic verses related to the concepts of ghulul (betrayal), risywah (bribery), sariqah (theft), and hirabah (robbery), as well as traditions that condemn similar behavior. This study uses a normative qualitative approach with thematic interpretation (mauḍu'i) and hadith analysis methods to find Islamic universal values in the prevention and eradication of corruption. The results of the study show that the implementation of the crime of corruption in the perspective of tafsir and hadith is a moral and spiritual deviation that is contrary to Islamic teachings. The Qur'an describes corruption through the terms ghulul (embezzlement), risywah (bribery), which will cause fasad fil-ardh (damage), all of which indicate the unauthorized deprivation of other people's rights. QS. Al-Baqarah: 188 prohibits consuming wealth through unlawful means, while the Hadith narrated by Bukhari No. 3196 emphasizes severe punishment for the perpetrators. Corruption is a grave sin that violates the principles of trust and justice, so its eradication must be through strict law enforcement and moral guidance based on the values of the Qur'an and hadith.

Abstract

Underage marriage is still a concerning phenomenon in Indonesia despite the regulation of Law No. 16 of 2019 which sets a minimum age limit of 19 years. This study aims to analyze the law of underage marriage in the perspective of maqashid sharia and formulate a reconstruction of a more contextual understanding of contemporary Islamic law. The research uses a juridical-normative method with an analytical qualitative-descriptive approach. Primary data sources include the Qur'an, Hadith, classical and contemporary fiqh books, and laws and regulations. The data analysis technique uses the ushul fiqh approach with the maqashid sharia theoretical framework of Imam Ash-Syatibi. The results show that underage marriage is contrary to the fundamental principles of maqashid sharia, specifically: (1) hifdzun nafs because it threatens the physical and mental health of children; (2) hifdzun 'aql because it inhibits the right to education and cognitive development; (3) hifdzun nasl because it increases the risk of mother-child mortality and stunting; and (4) it fails to realize the purpose of marriage, namely sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah. This study concludes that although there is no explicit prohibition in the text, early marriage must be prevented because its madarat is greater than its maslahat. The reconstruction of contemporary Islamic legal understanding must be based on a contextual approach that integrates maqashid sharia with the findings of modern science to realize the true benefit for children.

Abstract

This investigation aims to analyse the examining of customer experience and brand engagement on the loyalty of Grab transportation customers in Makassar City using a quantitative approach through questionnaire distribution and multiple linear regression analysis. The regression results show a customer experience coefficient of 0.363 and a brand engagement coefficient of 0.793, indicating a positive effect on customer loyalty. The t-test also proves that customer experience is greatly impacted with a t-value of 7.997 (p = 0.001), and brand engagement is significant with a t-value of 12.866 (p = 0.001). Furthermore, the F test shows the simultaneous effect of both variables with an F count of 118.09 more than the F table of 3.10 (p = 0.001). The coefficient of determination R² of 0.962 indicates that both variables explain 96.2% of the variation in customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research discusses the strengthening of the institutional system for managing confiscated evidence in corruption cases in Indonesia. The study employs a normative legal research method with a qualitative approach, focusing on a literature review of relevant regulations, legal principles, and theories. The research also uses an approach to laws and regulations and case studies to analyze issues related to the mismanagement of confiscated evidence. The findings suggest that the management of confiscated evidence should be entrusted to the RUPBASAN institution, which would be responsible for storing, maintaining, and securing the evidence to preserve its value and quality. RUPBASAN should not have any other interests besides evidence management. This study proposes granting RUPBASAN full authority over confiscated evidence, supported by legal frameworks and supervised by the President, to avoid overlapping authority with other institutions such as the police, the prosecutor's office, and the KPK. Furthermore, the Criminal Procedure Code, Article 44 (1), and Government Regulation No. 27 of 1983 outline the RUPBASAN's role in storing confiscated evidence. This concept also includes the sale of evidence that has permanent legal force, with proceeds directed into state revenue through Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP). This approach aims to avoid misuse, damage, and accumulation of confiscated evidence at RUPBASAN, while providing economic benefits through interest on the funds from evidence sales deposited in banks. Ultimately, the concept seeks to enhance the management of confiscated evidence, ensuring justice and legal certainty for all parties involved.
