Journal of Information Systems and Business Technology (JISBT) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang didedikasikan khusus untuk pengembangan keilmuan di bidang Sistem Informasi. Jurnal ini menjadi wadah untuk penyebaran hasil penelitian, inovasi teknologi, serta pemikiran kritis yang berfokus pada penerapan dan pengembangan sistem informasi dalam berbagai konteks bisnis dan organisasi. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi referensi utama bagi akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi yang bergerak di bidang Sistem Informasi, serta menjadi sarana kontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi teknologi dan manajemen informasi di era digital. Journal of Information Systems and Business Technology (JISBT) diterbitkan sebanyak empat kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Juni, Agustus, Oktober, dan Desember. Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based employee attendance system at PT Berkah Untuk Semesta to replace the manual method that has been used so far. This system is built using the Laravel framework and run locally using Laragon. With the implementation of this system, the attendance process becomes more efficient, accurate, and transparent, and supports better data-based decision making. This system is expected to be able to increase the effectiveness of attendance management and reduce the potential for errors that often occur in manual recording.

Abstract

The public complaint system plays an important role in improving the quality of public services, especially in government institutions such as the DPR RI Building. This study aims to design and test a web-based complaint information system with a software development method using the Agile approach. System development is carried out through several sprint stages, including identifying needs, creating features, and testing the system. The type of testing used is Black Box Testing, focusing on key features such as login, dashboard, navigation menu, data management, and form validation. The test results show that all features run as expected, and this system can manage complaints in an efficient, transparent, and orderly manner. Therefore, this system is declared successful in improving the efficiency of complaint handling in the DPR RI environment.

Abstract

Fast, flexible, and customizable information systems are essential in the ever-evolving digital era. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Agile method in developing an E-Library application because this method has the ability to dynamically change user needs through an iterative and participatory process. In this project, the Agile method is used in six main stages, from gathering needs to assessment. The Black Box method is used to test the stability and suitability of the system's functions before being used with technologies such as PHP, MySQL, HTML, and Visual Studio Code. The results show that the Agile method can create an E-Library system that is responsive, effective, and in accordance with user requirements. The results of the system evaluation show that each feature runs well, and the application is considered to be able to improve the effectiveness of digital library management.

Abstract

School libraries are very important as a place to get information and references during the learning process. However, the manual management system that is still used causes a number of problems. Some of them are recording errors, delays in returning books, and limited access for teachers and students to information. This study develops a web-based book stock information system using the Agile method. This method was chosen because it is flexible and allows gradual development through sprint iterations, which makes it more responsive to changes in user needs. This system allows printing reports, borrowing and returning, book and category management, and multi-role login features. Testing shows that all features run as expected without significant errors. The implementation results show that the system can speed up book management, make data clearer, and allow everyone in the school to access information. It is hoped that this study will provide solutions to library digitization problems and also be a reference for the development of similar systems in other educational institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based inventory information system using the Waterfall method. This system is designed to overcome problems in stock management, such as inaccurate recording, late information, and lack of operational efficiency. The Waterfall method is used because of its systematic and structured development flow, starting from needs analysis to the maintenance stage. This system includes main features such as registration, login, management of goods data, categories, stocks, and creation of printable reports. Testing shows that all features run according to user needs and are free from bugs. With an easy-to-use interface and real-time access capabilities, this system is expected to improve the efficiency and accuracy of inventory management in the organization.

Abstract

In this study, the Agile method, which is a primary approach in software development, is used to develop and analyze a web-based information system for managing inventory data. The need for a system that can replace manual recording methods—which often lead to data inaccuracies, delays in information retrieval, and low operational efficiency—is the foundation of this research. The system is designed to assist in various inventory management tasks such as recording incoming and outgoing goods, managing stock levels, generating reports, and tracking transaction history in real time. Agile methodology ensures that development proceeds in an iterative, flexible manner and remains focused on user needs that may change over time. The process begins with identifying user requirements, followed by system design, coding, testing, and regular evaluation of system functionality. The results show that the Agile method improves the speed and accuracy of system development and enhances interaction between developers and end users. The web-based information system increases accessibility, improves data accuracy, and supports better decision-making in inventory management. Therefore, this system is expected to serve as an efficient and flexible technological tool to assist in managing inventory data across various business sectors or organizations.

Abstract

This research investigates the development of a web-based information system for the sale of computer goods using the Agile method. The system is designed to organize transactions, product data, customers, and suppliers in a structured manner and in real time. By leveraging the iterative approach inherent in Agile, development is carried out incrementally through sprints, allowing for rapid adjustments to user needs. Blackbox testing results indicate that most features function as expected, although there are some minor shortcomings in input validation. The system has proven to enhance operational efficiency as well as the accuracy of sales reporting. These findings support the use of Agile methods for sales systems that are small to medium scale and require flexibility and speed in adaptation

Abstract

Vehicle washing companies are among the many service sectors that are changing toward more organized and efficient procedures as a result of the development of digital technology. The purpose of this project is to use the Waterfall technique to assess and create a web-based vehicle wash service information system. Features like admin login, transactions, daily reporting, input validation, and service and customer data management are all included in the designed system. To make sure that system features work as intended by users, testing was done using the Black Box Testing approach. The outcomes demonstrate that all essential functions are operational, the system reacts to inputs precisely, and it gives suitable error feedback. The Waterfall technique facilitates documentation at every level by providing a methodical development structure. It has been demonstrated that this method speeds up service procedures, lowers record-keeping errors, and improves operational efficiency. To better satisfy consumer desires, additional development ideas include incorporating digital payment methods and including online booking capabilities. This method makes the web-based information system an appropriate way to help firms that provide car wash services go digital.

Abstract

Since information technology is developing so quickly, more businesses are using digital media to promote and disseminate information. CV. As a business providing multimedia production services, Arunika Production needs informative and efficient promotional materials to expand its clientele and enhance its reputation. The goal of this project is to create and construct a website that may serve as a promotional and informational tool, showcasing the company's profile, services, portfolio, and internet contacts. The waterfall method, which incorporates the phases of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing, was employed in the creation of this website. PHP with MySQL database support, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are among the tools utilized in the design process. The study's end product is a dynamic website that provides comprehensive details about CV. Arunika Production and can serve as a more effective channel of communication between the business and its clients. With the use of this website, CV. Arunika Production hopes to boost its online presence, give clients quick access to information, and broaden its online media marketing reach.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how web-based project management systems, used to manage activities such as project assignments, reporting, and monitoring, function. The study investigated various project management applications used by organizations and highlighted several issues such as inflexible workflows, lack of system integration, and non-user-friendly interfaces. The study went through the stages of requirements analysis, system design, solution simulation, and performance testing using a blackbox approach using the Waterfall methodology. The results of the analysis showed that although the system could perform its basic functions, there were several elements that needed to be improved to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of overall project management.
