Journal of Information Systems and Business Technology (JISBT) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang didedikasikan khusus untuk pengembangan keilmuan di bidang Sistem Informasi. Jurnal ini menjadi wadah untuk penyebaran hasil penelitian, inovasi teknologi, serta pemikiran kritis yang berfokus pada penerapan dan pengembangan sistem informasi dalam berbagai konteks bisnis dan organisasi. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi referensi utama bagi akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi yang bergerak di bidang Sistem Informasi, serta menjadi sarana kontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi teknologi dan manajemen informasi di era digital. Journal of Information Systems and Business Technology (JISBT) diterbitkan sebanyak empat kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Juni, Agustus, Oktober, dan Desember. Semua publikasi dalam JISBT bersifat akses terbuka, memastikan bahwa setiap artikel tersedia secara daring tanpa biaya berlangganan. Abstract

Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the objective of this study is to create a web-based women's clothing sales information system for INNTSYOURLOVE. INNTSYOURLOVE is a small micro business that still uses manual sales methods such as order recording and social media promotion, which can cause errors and slow down operations. The business requires a system that can improve operational efficiency, expand market reach, and provide faster and more responsive customer service due to the increasing use of information technology and the trend toward online shopping. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was chosen because it is iterative and adaptive, enabling system development in a shorter timeframe through continuous prototyping. The system uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to display key features such as a product catalog, homepage, contact information, and live chat. To ensure that all user interface features function properly, the black box method was employed. Although the system is not yet connected to a database and lacks a back-end, the development results demonstrate that the system can accelerate customer ordering processes and support INNTSYOURLOVE's digital transformation. It is recommended to continue development by adding a database, authentication system, and security features.

Abstract

Narch Bouquet's manual business processes, such as sales recording, stock management, and ordering, occurred without an integrated system, resulting in inefficiencies and data errors. To address these issues, a web-based sales information system was designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The RAD method was chosen because of its ability to accelerate the development process by directly involving users in each prototyping iteration. Sales reporting, stock management, ordering, and product catalog features are all part of the developed system. This system can run in real-time and responsively using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js. Testing results show that each system feature can meet user needs and improve customer experience and business management. This system is expected to be further developed flexibly to support future business growth using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach.

Abstract

This study aims to test the quality of a web-based clothing system from the aspects of functionality and reliability. As the need for efficient and easily accessible clothing services increases, the development of a web-based system becomes a relevant solution. The system was tested using the Dark Box Testing method to evaluate the performance of each feature based on real-world usage scenarios. The development approach used was Rapid Application Development (RAD), which allows rapid iteration through the creation and refinement of prototypes based on user feedback. Testing focused on key features such as login, customer management, clothing transactions, and revenue reporting. The test results showed that most features ran as expected and supported clothing operations effectively, although one case failed in recording transactions. These findings provide an important picture of the advantages of the system and the range that needs improvement. This study is expected to be a reference in the development of similar service systems in the future.

Abstract

The rapid growth of information technology has brought major changes in various aspects of life, including office and school administration. This paper aims to design and develop an integrated, accurate, and effective student attendance recording system. The stages of the waterfall method applied in both development and design are needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The Laravel framework and Mysql database are used to build this system. Black box testing aims to verify that the website is running as expected. The test results show that the website is running well with all specified requirements met. UAT helps evaluate the system to meet end user needs. Therefore, this system will function as an efficient digital tool for recording student attendance.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have facilitated the birth of various applications designed to increase user productivity, one of which is a web-based To Do List application. This study aims to evaluate the information system of the To Do List application using the Agile method approach. The selection of the Agile method is based on its ability to provide high flexibility in the software development process through an iterative approach and ongoing team collaboration. In implementing this study, the development stages were carried out systematically starting from planning, interface design, feature implementation, to testing system functionality. The research findings indicate that the application of the Agile method is able to increase the system's ability to adapt to user needs dynamically, accelerate the development process, and ensure that each feature functions as expected. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the development of similar information systems that prioritize an adaptive and user-centered approach.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menjadi suatu keharusan bagi pelaku UMKM untuk dapat bersaing di era modern. RAPI Cake Bakery, yang merupakan salah satu UMKM di sektor kuliner, menghadapi berbagai kendala pada sistem konvensional, seperti keterlambatan data, kesalahan manusia, dan kesulitan dalam menyusun laporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi penjualan online berbasis website untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah tersebut. Metode Agile diterapkan untuk membangun sistem secara iteratif dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Black Box pada berbagai fitur sistem, termasuk manajemen produk, pelanggan, produksi, inventaris, transaksi, serta laporan-laporan yang dapat diekspor ke format PDF dan Excel. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berfungsi dengan stabil, sesuai dengan harapan, dan mempermudah operasional baik bagi admin maupun pelanggan. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan daya saing RAPI Cake Bakery di pasar digital.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven transformation in various aspects of business services, including the culinary industry. To improve operational efficiency and customer convenience, a modern and integrated ordering system is needed. This study discusses the design of a QR Code-based food ordering website using the waterfall software development method. This system allows customers to make orders independently through personal devices without the need to download additional applications. The website is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, with QR Code as a direct access media to the digital menu page. The implementation results show that this system is able to speed up the ordering process, reduce queues, and minimize recording errors. Thus, this system can be an effective solution for culinary business actors in improving service quality and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have driven changes in the world of commerce, including the development of e-commerce as a means of modern buying and selling. This research aims to analyze the functionality of web-based e-commerce applications for the sale of Converse shoes. The application is developed using the Waterfall method with the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Testing is done using the Black Box Testing method to evaluate functions from the user's perspective. The test results show that most of the main features, such as login, registration, product management, transactions, and customer reviews, run well. Some shortcomings were found in the system feedback that did not display notification messages on certain features. But overall, the application is considered functional, user-friendly, and feasible to use as a digital sales platform for Converse shoes.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development and implementation of a web-based Student Data Management Information System. The goal is to support more effective, organized, and accurate data management. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Black Box Testing was used during the testing phase to ensure that each system function operates as expected by the user, without examining the internal code. The test results show that all key features—such as login, data input, editing, deletion, search, and logout—function properly. It is expected that this system will speed up administrative services and minimize errors in managing student data.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology today causes changes to the world of technology, one example is the attendance recording system has developed to replace the manual method that has been widely used in office environments. Manual attendance systems have several disadvantages, including the possibility of data fraud, inaccurate recording, and long reporting times, which hinder administrative performance. Conversely, certain organizations may not be able to use digital systems due to a lack of human resources and infrastructure. The purpose of this research is to solve these problems by designing and developing a digital attendance application that operates via the web. Secure login, management of employee and job title information, attendance scheduling, daily attendance recording, attendance reporting, and logout are all part of the developed system. The Agile method for system development enables an iterative and collaborative approach with users through a continuous process of sprints, testing, and evaluation. In addition, system testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to assess the functionality of the interface. The end result of this research is expected to offer a modern alternative that is easy to use, accurate, and efficient to replace manual systems. In addition, these results are expected to increase the transparency and effectiveness of the attendance process in the work environment.
