Journal of Information Systems and Business Technology (JISBT) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang didedikasikan khusus untuk pengembangan keilmuan di bidang Sistem Informasi. Jurnal ini menjadi wadah untuk penyebaran hasil penelitian, inovasi teknologi, serta pemikiran kritis yang berfokus pada penerapan dan pengembangan sistem informasi dalam berbagai konteks bisnis dan organisasi. Abstract

The advancement of information technology has prompted governmental agencies to integrate digital solutions, such as the Civil Registry Service (Dukcapil). This research focuses on an online public complaint information system designed to enhance the effectiveness of public services. The approach taken is qualitative, utilizing observation, interviews, and UML modeling techniques. Findings indicate that the current manual system suffers from notable drawbacks, including sluggish responses and insufficient transparency. The online system, created with PHP and MySQL and evaluated via Black Box Testing, has demonstrated success in addressing these issues. This research intends to serve as a guide for the creation of comparable systems in other government agencies.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly influenced various aspects of life, including the food and beverage industry. Online food ordering systems are now essential to improve transaction speed and convenience for both customers and business owners. This study aims to design a web-based food ordering system using the Agile methodology, which emphasizes iterative development, collaboration, and adaptability to changing user needs. The development process consists of six stages: planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and review. The system provides essential features such as user registration, food ordering, menu and order management, ticket support, and responsive web-based transaction reports. Testing was conducted across desktop and mobile platforms, as well as multiple browsers to ensure system compatibility. The results showed that the system operates effectively and meets user expectations. By implementing this system, food business operators—especially small to medium enterprises—can manage transactions more efficiently, reduce errors, and enhance customer satisfaction. This system is expected to be a practical digital solution that supports the transformation of the culinary business toward a more modern and integrated direction.

Abstract

Digitalization in various industries has been driven by advances in information technology, including in the social sector through online donation platforms. The purpose of this study is to analyze and test an online donation web application developed using the Waterfall method. This method was chosen because of its systematic development structure, starting from the needs analysis stage, system design, implementation, and testing. The test results were carried out to ensure that the system's functionality runs according to the stated objectives, especially in terms of the login process, registration, donation management, and transaction reports. The test results showed that the application can operate well and meet user needs according to the designed scenario. Efficiency and usability analysis also showed good results. This study supports the development of social applications that can increase the ease and trust of people in donating online.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance and potential of an android-based application developed with MIT App Inventor 2 (AI2), specifically focusing on the MIT AI2 Translator for language traslator. The primary abjective is to explore the effectiveness of MIT App Inventor 2 (AI2) for language translator applications.The study involves two main stages:designing the learning application using MIT AI2 software and conducting usability testing of the application. In the first stage, the researcher designed a language translator application using MIT AI2. The second stage involves testing the application’s usability to determine its quality. Translator features were integrated using visual programming blocks provided by MIT AI2. This research utilized four language: Java, English, Jaoabese dan italy. The findings indicate that the research successfully created android-based language translator using MIT AI 2.

Abstract

In the age of digitalization, the public greatly needs ease and speed in the handling of pesawat tiket. As the number of domestic tiket pesawat transactions increases, a system that is efficient, reliable, and secure is required to facilitate these transactions. The purpose of this study is to develop and implement an Agile-based web-based information system for pesawat tiket. The system is built using modern technologies like TypeScript, Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Lucia for authentication, Prisma for data management, Ngrok for jarak jauh, and Midtrans for online payment integration. Agile methodology is used to ensure that the development process can be carried out in a flexible and iterative manner in accordance with requirements. This system enables users to make payments securely through Midtrans and to send tiket messages online without having to visit the agent's office.

Abstract

System testing is an essential stage in software development to ensure that the system operates according to user needs and is free from errors. This study aims to test and evaluate the functional quality of the Todo-PHP application, a webbased task management system built using PHP and MySQL. The application was selected due to its open-source nature and early-stage development, making it relevant for identifying and analyzing potential bugs. The development method used is Agile, which is iterative and adaptive to change. This approach is considered suitable for small-scale projects like Todo-PHP, as it supports continuous improvement and testing. To test the system’s functionality, the black-box testing method was applied, which focuses on evaluating input and output without analyzing the internal structure of the code. The test was conducted on core features such as login, task management, password change, and account deletion. The testing was performed in a local environment using a PHP server and a MySQL database. The results showed that most features performed as expected, although several minor issues were found, such as suboptimal input validation and buttons that did not respond under certain conditions. These findings served as a basis for further development recommendations.This study is expected to provide a practical overview of system testing implementation and contribute to improving the quality of open-source applications like Todo-PHP.

Abstract

This study examines the use of cloud computing as a disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) solution for key information systems at Pamulang University. The university's reliance on digital systems increases its vulnerability to disruptions that could potentially lead to data loss and service disruption. The objective of this study is to formulate a strategic model for implementing effective cloud-based DR/BC, focusing on crucial systems such as the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) and the Financial Information System. The research method uses an iterative approach, involving repeated cycles of risk analysis, solution design, conceptual implementation, and simulation testing. This approach allows for gradual risk identification and mitigation, as well as adaptation to evolving needs. The implementation of cloud computing is expected to provide a scalable, flexible, and cost-effective recovery environment, ensuring rapid data availability and operations post-disaster. The results of this study will provide a practical framework for Pamulang University to strengthen the resilience of its information systems, minimize downtime, and maintain the continuity of educational services amidst potential threats.

Abstract

The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system is a digital platform aimed at strengthening customer loyalty and engagement by systematically recording and monitoring interactions. This research involves the creation and deployment of a web-based CRM application, developed using ReactJS for the user interface, NodeJS for the server-side logic, and MySQL as the data storage solution. Agile methodology was adopted to support quick, iterative development and adaptability to changing requirements. Black-box testing was used to assess 10 key system features, with results showing that 90% of them worked as intended, while one feature experienced a failure during the package update process. This CRM solution proves to be a valuable tool for small to medium enterprises seeking to improve their customer management efficiency..

Abstract

Bio-link applications such as LinkStack offer a flexible and customizable personal link management solution. Testing CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functions is important to ensure the stability and reliability of the application. This study aims to test the performance of CRUD features on the web-based LinkStack application running in the Docker environment. The testing method used is manual black box testing with scenarios including registration, login, adding, editing, deleting, and displaying the link list. The test results show that all CRUD features run well, the interface is responsive, and no bugs were found during testing. In conclusion, the LinkStack application is worthy of use as a personal link management platform, with Docker support providing consistency and stability during testing. Further automated and cross-environment testing is recommended to increase the range of reliability.

Abstract

Employee attendance is a crucial element in human resource management (HRM), particularly in service sectors such as beauty salons. The manual attendance recording process often causes challenges, including delays in data recap, potential information manipulation, and low administrative efficiency. The digitalization of the attendance system is seen as a more appropriate and relevant solution in today's technological era. This study aims to assess the impact of implementing a QR Code-based digital attendance system on employee attendance effectiveness at Zea Salon. The application was developed using PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as the database management system. QR Codes are used as unique identifiers for each employee and are scanned upon arrival at work. This research applies a quantitative approach through experimental methods, consisting of three main designs: pre-experiment, quasi-experiment, and true-experiment. Data were collected through documentation, observation, interviews, and questionnaires, and then compared between the conditions before and after the system was implemented. The results show improvements in attendance punctuality, a decrease in tardiness, and a reduction in unexcused absences. The implementation of this system also contributes to more efficient administrative management and supports faster, data-driven decision-making processes.
