Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) is currently being gradually integrated into the learning system especially in university level. Some studies have confirmed the good effects of applying the LMS toward the students’ motivation, learning outcome, and the teaching and learning quality. Unfortunately, most of the teaching model used in STKIP Muhammadiyah Enrekang is still in conventional form. Thus, the researcher intends to conduct the research on the use of moodle as one of LMS online platform as a mean of updating the teaching model used in this institution. Consequently, the present study investigated a research question. That is the extent to which the use of moodle affects the students’ motivation. The instruments used to collect the data is interview. The data collection was analyzed through descriptive analysis. The participants are all the second semester students of English education program in STKIP Muhammadiyah Enrekang in academic year 2019/2020. The result shows that the use of moodle can affect the students’ motivation. There are at least 3 reasons can be concluded for this fact. The first reason is the communication features on moodle help students to communicate easily with peers or teachers. The second reason is moodle can be access anywhere and anytime. The third reason is the economical factor.

Abstract

Communicative skill is important to be mastered by primary teacher candidates. The skill is required to create conducive teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, the fact shows that the students of primary school teacher (PGSD) at STKIP Muhammadiyah Enrekang have low communicative skill. Involving technology in learning is considered to be able to assist the teacher to hone the students’ communicative skill. Vlog or video blog which is technology-based can be a way to overcome the issue. The present study aims at investigating whether the use of vlog-based assignment can improve the students’ communicative skill and affect their self- confidence. Quantitative research method with quasi-experimental research design is used to complete this research. The instruments used to collect data are questionnaire and test which is arranged based on the communicative skill indicators and validated by an expert. In conclusion, the use of vlog-based assignment gives positive impact to the level of self-confidence of the students and thus enhance the students’ communicative skill as well.

Abstract

The status of English lessons in the 2013 curriculum is an alternative extracurricular program. This means that schools are given a policy to choose to teach English as extracurricular program or not. Especially for Enrekang District, Enrekang Regency,many elementary schools chose not to program it. Meanwhile, from a geographical perspective, Enrekang Regency is directly adjacent to Tana Toraja Regency which is an international tourism area. Thus, human resources around the area should be equipped with English skills. The aims of this research are: 1) to analyze the need for English as an extracurricular program in elementary schools in Enrekang Regency in terms of geographical aspects. 2) to identify the learning approach to teach English that is in accordance with elementary school students need in Enrekang Regency in terms of geographical aspects. This study quantitative and qualitative (Mix-Method). The subjects of this study were SDN 41 Enrekang which was determined through purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques that had been carried out are through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The result confirms that English is really needs to be programmed as an extracurricular activity in elementary schools. In addition, both behaviorism and cognitive learning approach can be applied in teaching English in this context. The methods and techniques that can be applied should be consistent with that learning approach and match with the students’ actual English needs in a geographical perspective.

Abstract

Reading is an important part of the learning process to explore information both of in writing or orally. Thus the basic literacy that is often applied is read-write literation. This study aims to develop sound slide media in learning literacy for second grade of elementary school. To knowing how the process of media development and how the quality of the media. This research is a type of research and development with a 4-D model oriented from S. Thiagarajan, et al. This 4-D development is modifed by reserchers in accordance with research needs, namely the define, design and develop stages without dissimante. The research subject were grade 2 students of elementary school in 2019/2020. Based on field trials the revised validity assesment results occupy a valid category with an overall average of 83,45. Then the learning outcomes of student with an everage of 86, the students completed with a percentage of 90% or 9 people and the percentage 10% or 1 person who did not complete.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi hasil belajar peserta didik melalui metode make a match pada mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn). Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian PTK. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas III B SD Islam NDM Kauman Surakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III B. Data diperoleh dari hasil obervasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan cara deskritif komparatif dan kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar PKn peserta didik masuk kategori relatif rendah dibuktikan 11 peserta didik yang belum tuntas mencapai KKM. Setelah adanya tindakan siklus 1 dan 2 dengan metode make a match, terlihat hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn meningkat. Pada siklus 1 yang tuntas KKM ada 18 anak dan pada siklus 2 terlihat hasil semua siswa tuntas dari KKM yang ditentukan. Kata Kunci : Prestasi Belajar, Metode Make A Match Abstract This research aims to find out the improvement in the achievement of students' learning outcomes through make a match method in citizenship education subjects (PKn). This research includes PTK research. The population in this study was all students grade III B SD Islam NDM Kauman Surakarta. The samples in this study were class III B students. Data was obtained from obervasi results, interviews and documentation. Analyze data in a comparative and critical manner. The results showed that the results of the study of students in the relatively low category were evidenced by 11 students who had not completed reaching KKM. After the action of cycles 1 and 2 with the make a match method, students' learning outcomes in the primary school subjects increased. In cycle 1 that completes KKM there are 18 children and in cycle 2 is seen the results of all completed students from the specified KKM. Keywords : Learning Achievements, Make A Match Method

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah memberikan dampak pada perubahan metode pembelajaran dalam dunia pembelajaran di Indonesia dari tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh, tidak terkecuali di Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Keuangan. Perubahan metode pembelajaran tersebut diikuti dengan perubahan kegiatan dalam pemberian layanan dan anggaran yang diperlukan untuk memberikan layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan penyesuaian kebijakan anggaran agar tetap dapat memberikan layanan pembelajaran selama pandemi Covid-19 pada lembaga pelatihan baik yang di kelola oleh pemerintah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan penelaahan dokumen, regulasi yang berlaku, jurnal ilmiah serta artikel terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan aktivitas dalam rangka pencapaian layanan dan satuan biaya yang diperlukan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki pengaruh pendekatan PMR terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis serta kemandirian belajar siswa SMP Al-Ulum Medan terhadap 30 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian pre-test-post-test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 7 (tujuh) dengan sampel dua kelas (kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol) melalui teknik random sampling kelas. Data penelitian dihasilan dari tes Kemampuan Awal Matematika (KAM), tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, dan angket kemandirian belajar siswa. Data dianalisis mengunakan uji ANAVA dua jalur. Sebelum digunakan uji ANAVA dua jalur terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas terhadap data kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan data angket kemandirian belajar siswa dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa:(1) Terdapat pengaruh PMR terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP. (2) Terdapat pengaruh PMR terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa SMP. (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dan KAM siswa dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP. (4) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran dan KAM siswa dalam mempengaruhi kemandirian belajar siswa SMP. Temuan penelitian merekomendasikan bahwa pendekatan PMR dapat digunakan di kelas untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa.

Abstract

The research objective is as a universal effort to provide variety relevant contributions to society as well as to identify new challenges must be faced, or referred to as multiple intelligences so that students can actualize multiple intelligences or multiple intelligences including emotions and spirituality. The Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Model of Cooperative Learning is a solution to student problems in cooperative learning which also adds to the elements of social interaction in learning. In cooperative learning, students learn together in small groups helping one another. Classes are arranged in groups of 4 or 5 students, with heterogeneous abilities. The results showed that there was an interaction between the learning process experienced by students and the teaching process by educators or teachers. Students can change their lives to be of better quality both physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and later it can be said to be successful in the educational process, namely achieving changes in behavior in students. It is clear that we cannot rely on intellectual alone, that IQ only contributes about 20% of the factors that determine a success, the remaining 80% comes from other factors including Emotional Intelligence in the multiple intelligence categories”. As human learner students who can be said to be successful in education and to achieve educational goals, namely education as a whole human being, here students are required to actualize all three intelligences at once, namely intellectual, emotional and spiritual. For improvement in the learning process both for educators and for students in particular, it is hoped that this research will be able to make a useful contribution to the development of science, especially in learning and character building by having properties such as integrity, humility, tolerance, restraint. , loyalty, justice, patience, simplicity, and through the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The goal of the research was to know how to enhance the learning outcome of Chemistry through an authentic evaluation. The topic of the study included 22 students. Data collection was rendered using an authentic assessment aspect involving the assignment of students, the student journal, the review and student actions during the learning process. The results of the analysis have shown that authentic evaluation and treatment could enhance the results of the study of chemistry

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the implementation of physical learning using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) method to enhance creative thinking skills and learning outcomes in the X-IA2 SMA Negeri 1 Sidenreng Rappang class. The research approach used was Classroom Action Research across two learning stages, each of which consisted of planning, execution, observation and reflective phases. The results showed that studying physics with the CPS approach could boost students ' creative thinking. This is demonstrated by: (1) an improvement in the number of students who completed 12 during Cycle I to 26 in Cycle II with an average learning outcome of 77. N-gain in Cycle I of 0.20 is included in the low category and N-gain in the second cycle, 0.30 has been included in the medium category, (2) the average student learning group participation in the learning phase has been included in the Activity category, which has increased to the High Activity category, and (3) the use of innovative students.
