Abstract

The presence of digital technology leaps has brought significant changes to religious life in Indonesia, one of which is the scope of Islamic boarding schools. Pesantren at that time became a place for the spread of Islamic teachings that was very massive, with the lecture method carried out in the langgar. The birth of a digital technology system in the world of pesantren can have an impact on the pattern of pesantren education and the pattern of relations between pesantren and society. digital technology is a new civilization created from a series of advances in human thinking from one generation to the next. Pesantren is often considered as an educational institution that is seen classically as a place to study Islam alone. However, it is different from the current situation. Where along with the times, pesantren have undergone a significant transformation, especially in the era of digitalization. This all- digital era has provided updates in social activities and learning systems in pesantren. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying in depth the cult of pesantren with the birth of the digitalization era in the modernization era. This research uses an analytical descriptive approach, this approach is carried out analyzing data based on various phenomena that occur regarding the cult of the pesantren with the birth of the digitalization era in the modernization era and how challenges occur in the digital era in Islamic boarding schools. So that the results found that policy changes in this digital era are an important milestone in pesantren studies, which Yazid mentioned that the pesantren is trying to open itself towards a more transformative and progressive direction, and open to the outside world. So that with the birth of this development, it can help pesantren in facing world civilization in the digital era.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the role of Islamic boarding schools as strengthening the nation's educational vision. Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions train and form students to have noble values that are not only oriented towards religion, but also science. Many people think that Islamic boarding schools are shabby, innocent and a cloud of knowledge. Through the library-descriptive method, this paper emphasizes that the realization of intelligent and competitive Indonesian people (insan kamil) can only be achieved through Islamic boarding school educational institutions. The results of this research confirm that Islamic boarding schools not only teach intelligent people intellectually but also spiritually. This then became the ideal of the Indonesian nation, producing intelligent and competitive Indonesian people (insan kamil).

Abstract

This research discusses the problem of authenticity in the qur’an. This authenticity problem is proven by the decline in the quality of students' reading of the qur’an. The decline in quality refers to 2 things, namely the accuracy of the letters and the properties of the letters. This problem certainly needs to be followed up to maintain the authenticity of the reading of the Koran, which is in accordance with the demands. This research uses qualitative methods with analysis in the form of content analysis with three stages, namely data condensation, data display and conclusions. This research aims to discuss the Tashil program in maintaining the authenticity of Al-Qur'an reading located at PP al-Hikmah Purwoasri Kediri. This research provides a new contribution in maintaining the authenticity of Al-Qur'an reading in Tahfidz Islamic boarding schools in the form of tashil learning.

Abstract

This research will photograph the learning and implementation of fiqh rules at Ma'had Aly Situbondo. There are several basic reasons why this research was conducted. Among other things, Ma'had Aly Situbondo has an important role in grounding the principles of jurisprudence which are intertwined with the study of jurisprudence and jurisprudential suggestions, which unfortunately has escaped the attention of many researchers. Apart from that, Ma'had Aly Situbondo has his own patterns and characteristics in designing learning and implementing fiqh rules. This research includes descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was interviews and observations of Ma'had Aly's documents including the Buku al-Madkhal Ila al-Qawaid al-Fiqhiyyah and the Simple and Easy to Master Book of 175 Rules of Jurisprudence. In conclusion, there are four models that characterize Ma'had Aly Situbondo in studying the rules of jurisprudence. First, the step of reading the rules of jurisprudence simultaneously when entering lectures is around 5-7 minutes, which must be read aloud, looking and listening using the book Simple and Easy to Master 175 Rules of Jurisprudence. Second, read the text of the book al-Madkhal Ila al-Qawaid al-Fiqhiyyah to discuss it. Third, memorize and deposit. Fourth, write a paper that discusses jurisprudential legal issues using a jurisprudential approach. In a more dynamic way, the implementation of Islamic jurisprudence principles is also actualized through the writing of popular and scientific articles. The actualization space is the Tanwirul Afkar Magazine which is based on print while the online one is the website maalysitubondo.ac.id. Apart from being a reinforcement in scientific studies, the rules of fiqh also become reflections in the daily activities of students and are made into short stories that include the rules of fiqh.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of implementing the Jibril Method in developing the Al-Qur'an reading skills of students at the Pondok Tremas Pacitan Islamic College in the tradition of Nastamir activities. The object of this research is the implementation of the Jibril Method, the history and practice of the Nastamir tradition. This research approach is to use descriptive qualitative research, by conducting field studies through: observation, interviews and documentation. The research results in this article explain the internal and external problems of female students in studying the Qur'an in Islamic boarding schools as well as the role of Nastamir activity traditions as a means of training female students to be diligent and disciplined. By adopting the Jibril method as the main indicator to support students' learning achievement in studying the Koran. The existence of the Nastamir tradition is still maintained and continues from time to time at the Islamic College Pondok Tremas Pacitan.

Abstract

Pesantren in Indonesia have experienced changes in orientation but still try to maintain their uniqueness and distinctiveness. One of the preserved legacies is the custom of sanad in religious learning. Pesantren have a long history and function as centers for the dissemination of traditional Islamic knowledge as well as the training of ulama. However, pesantren also face challenges in dealing with modernization. Therefore, it is important to integrate general science and technology in the pesantren curriculum. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing written data and direct interviews with relevant informants. This research emphasizes the importance of maintaining the sanad in the study of yellowclassical books. Sanad must be related to the author of the book to strengthen continuity in science. This is an important tradition that is still upheld in pesantren.

Abstract

The young generation with integrity has an important role in efforts to achieve progress and excellence for a nation, because the progress of a nation's civilization is very dependent on the condition of its youth. This research examines the ethical and moral problems that are increasingly declining among the younger generation and reveals the important role that Islamic boarding schools must play in overcoming this problem. The problems identified involve a decline in moral values, an increase in destructive behavior, and a low awareness of integrity in various aspects of the lives of the younger generation, as based on KPAI data in 2022, there were 226 cases of physical and psychological violence including bullying committed by Indonesian students. This research uses a critical descriptive method, providing a description of Islamic boarding school education and exploring an in-depth understanding of the values, principles and educational methodology promoted by Islamic boarding schools. The research results show that Islamic boarding school education provides a strong foundation for the younger generation to develop the character of integrity, because the education is based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. An in- depth understanding of Islamic boarding school education emphasizes the urgency of the role of these institutions in forming a young generation with integrity. This research underlines the urgency of Islamic boarding school education as the main solution in overcoming moral and ethical problems among the younger generation. Therefore, this research emphasizes that Islamic boarding school education must receive support and receive more serious attention as a strategic effort in forming a young generation with integrity, to create a superior future for the nation.

Abstract

In the era of Globalization and Digitalization, it is now easier to spread information, especially religious values. Religious values are integrated in the world of education. There are so many Islamic religious sects spread across Indonesia. However, not all religious sects are recognized for their sanad and the validity of their knowledge. A lot of information about the Islamic religion that is spread cannot be recognized as true because of the lack of reference sources for knowledge and the quality of human resources for teaching staff. Likewise, not all elements of education have a valid (sahih) source of religious knowledge, and not many outputs from education have basic religious values, namely having noble morals. The attitudes, ethics, character and morals of students, especially students at university level, still pay little attention to it. All components only focus on the content and learning values in the form of numbers, without prioritizing educational goals that prioritize morals. As the Messenger of Allah said. "األخالق مكارم ألتمم بعثت إنما " which means actually I (Rasulullah saw.) was sent only to perfect noble morals. This research aims to analyze the potential for realizing Student Islamic Boarding Schools at Jambi University College as Strengthening the Nation's Character and Educational Vision. This research method uses a descriptive library research approach with data analysis techniques by collecting information from various materials such as reference books, relevant research results, articles, notes and various journals related to research. The results of the research show that the potential for realizing Student Islamic Boarding Schools at Jambi University College as Strengthening Character and National Educational Vision is high based on competent teaching backgrounds and students' need for in-depth learning of religious values with clear scientific sources under the guidance of teaching staff. who is competent in the field of Islamic religion at Jambi University.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effectiveness of the masyayikh council as a guarantor of the quality of Islamic boarding school education based on Law Number 18 of 2019 in deradicalizing religion in Islamic boarding schools. As a quality guarantor who is expected to maintain the characteristics, traditions, independence and diversity of Islamic boarding schools, the masyayikh council has the authority to determine the curriculum of teaching materials for students and has the power to regulate religious deradicalization. This research is based on normative research (legal research) and relies on literature reviews. The results of this research show that the Masyayikh Council as a quality guarantor substantially has the authority to carry out religious deradicalization, then in terms of the legal structure the Ministry of Religion as the implementer has attempted to carry out the mandate of the law. However, culturally there is no certainty of implementation from the community council in society.

Abstract

Various cases in this era which are considered due to a lack of spirituality in humans make the role of ulama in improving spirituality in this era important. The education taught by the ulama' is Sufism education in the form of tarekat and essence sharia. On the other hand, national education also has goals that are in line with Sufism education. However, this is sometimes misunderstood as a dichotomy between religion and the world. So it is important to study the ideas of religious figures and their thoughts and relate them to national education. This paper uses a descriptive analysis method with library research, because the data will be extracted from library data and uses a qualitative approach that tests the quality of ideas by answering problems based on existing theoretical foundations and by reviewing the manuscript of al-Malhuzat KH Ahmad Asrori Al-Ishaqi. The research results show that Kiai Asrori's al-Malhuzat text contains Sufism education which is a solution for improving spirituality in this era. Apart from that, Sufism education in this text is also in line with national education goals. Such as integration between sharia, tarekat and essence which has the essence of integrating the world and the afterlife, using Sufism strategies, and balancing between raja' and khauf.
