Abstract

Go Mandalika is a digital platform managed by the Central Lombok Regency Tourism Office to promote local tourist destinations. Despite its attractive features, Go Mandalika faces major challenges in terms of branding and content management due to the lack of human resources (HR) who are experts in digital marketing. This study aims to analyze the role of Go Mandalika as a digital promotion tool and how branding optimization can increase its visibility and effectiveness in promoting tourism in Central Lombok. Through literature review and content analysis, this study found that although Go Mandalika has great potential, problems in management and branding are the main obstacles. Therefore, recommendations from this study include strengthening branding, developing digital marketing HR, and more intense collaboration with external content to support regional promotion. This study is expected to contribute to improving the quality of government digital platform management in the tourism sector.

The impact of marketing strategies on retail coverage is evident through significant increases in the number of stores and sales. The research object is PT. Borwita Citra Prima's Bandung branch, specifically focusing on the West Bandung region. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques employed in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis methods involve data reduction, data registration, conclusion drawing, and final verification of research validity through credibility tests. The results of this study demonstrate a significant impact on PT. Borwita Citra Prima's Bandung branch, particularly in the West Bandung area. This strategy can be implemented in other regions to improve retail coverage and reduce business burdens on wholesale stores.

Abstract

Sustainable education is the key to achieving long-term development goals. In the digital era, educational transformation through information technology plays an important role in expanding access and quality of learning. This study examines the strategy of Dreams Foundation, a non-formal education platform in Indonesia, in creating sustainable impacts through the Instagram account @ruangtryout. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with social media content analysis and documentation observation. The results of the analysis show that Dreams Foundation optimizes educational content (try out simulations, learning tips, mentoring sessions sharing experiences), facilitates social media interaction and literacy, and carries a social mission in Indonesia to increase access to higher education for the underprivileged with a target SNBT score above 750. This strategy is in line with the guidelines for sustainable education that encourage the active role of institutions in educating the public and strengthening the learning ecosystem of prospective students. In conclusion, Dreams Foundation's digital efforts have approached the principles of sustainable education management, although they need to be developed with a more systematic scale and impact evaluation. Recommendations include increasing the integration of digital services and collaboration with a wider educational ecosystem to be able to reach remote areas of the country.

Abstract

Around 45% of students in Indonesia experience anxiety related to exams (Kemdikbud, 2022), which is manifested through physical, emotional and cognitive symptoms which can cause a decrease in academic achievement by as much as 15% (Zeidner, 2014). This literature study analyzes teacher strategies based on humanistic theory (Rogers), self-efficacy (Bandura), and CBT (Beck) to overcome these problems. Findings indicate that three effective approaches have been identified: (1) creating a supportive learning atmosphere characterized by consistent encouragement, (2) increasing self-confidence through affirmative feedback and assessment preparation, and (3) using cognitive behavioral methods such as changing negative thoughts and applying relaxation techniques. Combining these tactics has shown success in reducing anxiety by increasing self-regulation and reducing feelings of danger. Possible strategies to consider might include: (a) avoiding competitive grading systems, (b) adopting alternative grading methods (such as portfolios or projects), and (c) working with school counselors. This research emphasizes the importance of a balanced evaluation approach between academic achievement and students' psychological well-being.

The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 13 companies as research samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression which is tested with the help of the SPSS version 25 programme. The results showed that board size has a positive and significant effect on firm value. The independent board also has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, the audit committee has no significant effect on firm value, although the regression coefficient shows a positive direction.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of Cross-Cultural Communication Barriers (Case Study of Sasak and Samawa Tribe Husband and Wife Couples in Jembatang Kemar Hamlet, Senayan Village)". This research is motivated by the phenomenon of elopement, early marriage, and the high divorce rate in the region, which is thought to be related to intercultural communication barriers. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyse the cross-cultural communication barriers experienced by married couples from two different cultural backgrounds, namely the Sasak Tribe and the Samawa Tribe. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of six married couples from different ethnic groups who live in Jembatang Kemar Hamlet. The results showed that the main barriers come from language differences that cause misunderstanding, loss of meaning, and awkwardness in communication. In addition, differences in norms or habits, as well as a lack of self-confidence, also contribute to increasing the risk of small conflicts in household relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to read and analyze public sentiment toward the political narrative constructed by Gibran Rakabuming through his monologue video “Giliran Kita” (Our Turn), delivered by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and uploaded to his personal YouTube channel, which has attracted significant public attention in a short period of time. In this video, Gibran seeks to encourage the younger generation to take on a role and dare to make breakthroughs amid the current global challenges. However, various reactions reflecting the dynamics of public opinion and perceptions toward the political narrative have emerged widely across social media platforms, particularly on X. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative methods were used to collect and analyze digital data through web scraping of posts containing the keyword “Gibran” during the period from April 19 to 26, 2025. Based on the findings of this study, the political narrative constructed by Gibran shows positive resonance among users of the X platform, particularly in shaping his image as a representative of the younger generation. The dominance of positive and neutral sentiments indicates that Gibran's political strategy appears to be quite successful, at least on the X platform.  These findings reveal that public perception in the digital space is never static, is layered, and is not always objective. Social media is no longer merely a tool for conveying messages but has become a space for political discourse competition and the formation of power legitimacy. Public perceptions of figures like Gibran are shaped through a complex process influenced by the content of messages, the evolving nature of issues, the communication strategies employed, and the roles of active actors in disseminating political narratives in the digital world.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the form and effectiveness of leadership rhetoric in the public communication of the Regent of Sumbawa, Drs. H. Mahmud Abdullah, especially in delivering Mo-Novi's flagship programmes in the 2021-2024 leadership period. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and case study method, this research refers to classical rhetoric theory (ethos, pathos, logos) as well as public communication theory according to Denis McQuail. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation. The results show that the ethos aspect is quite strong formally, especially in terms of bureaucratic credibility and direct involvement of the leader. However, symbolic and emotional approaches that can strengthen public trust have not been optimally utilised. The pathos and logos aspects have also not been fully effective, because the communication patterns used still tend to be one-way, technocratic, and less in accordance with the socio-cultural characteristics of local communities. These findings indicate the importance of strengthening public communication strategies that are more adaptive, dialogic, and oriented towards emotional approaches so that leadership rhetoric can increase public understanding and participation in regional policies.
