The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of cough medicine prescribing at Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital in the period January - March 2019 based on active substances, dosage forms, and accompanying drugs. The research method used is descriptive quantitative retrospective nature by taking primary data from prescriptions in patients at Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital. The results of this study show that the most active prescription of guaifenesin is 469 recipes (26.20%). syrup was prescribed as many as 518 sheets (28.43%). The accompanying drug was the most prescribed analgesic-antipyretic group as many as 547 sheets (29.09%). The conclusions from this study that were most prescribed based on active substances, dosage forms, and accompanying drugs were guaifenesin, syrup, and analgesic-antipyretic. Abstract

According to the American Heart Association (AHA), Americans over the age of 20 suffer from hypertension, reaching up to 74.5 million. Based on data from the Health Research (RISKEDAS) 2013, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is 25.8%. Hypertension is a silent killer where symptoms can vary in each individual. Hypertension is one of the main risk factors for heart disease, stroke, visual impairment and kidney disease. So in the treatment of hypertension the possibility of polypharmacy so that the occurrence of drug interactions increases. Drug interaction is a modification of the effect of a drug due to other drugs given initially or given together so that the effectiveness or toxicity of one drug or more changes. Based on data obtained from the medical record of Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital for primary hypertension in outpatient Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital in the period July to December 2018 there were 441 visits and ranked number 3. This study aims to determine the potential for drug interactions and determine the percentage of potential drug interactions based on the severity of drug interactions at the Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy Installation from October to December 2018 using drugs.com software. This research is a descriptive study and is included in a retrospective type of evaluative research. The number of samples taken was 322 prescription sheets with the taking technique used, namely the purposive sampling method. The results showed that there were 216 prescription sheets (67.08%) that had drug interactions with interaction severity ie minor (12.67%), moderate (78.73%), and major (8.60%).

At this age, the body phsyological functions are declined and other health problems appear such as cognitive disorder, body balance, vision and hearing disorder. Geriatric age patients need a variety of medicine in their treatment or called polypharmacy and it has a potential to cause drug interactions. Previously two studies on drug interactions in heart failure patients have been conducted with results are found drug interactions in both studies. In order to realize towards health services, the government build BPJS to ensure the health of all Indonesian people through JKN program and cooperate with many health facilities. Jakarta Islamic Hospital Cempaka Putih also cooperate with BPJS giving treatment for heart failure. Data on medical records from January to September 2018 showed that heart failure were in top 10 biggest diseases with 1.341 patients, 70% of them were BPJS guaranteed patients. This study aims to find out about the description of drug interactions on geriatric age heart failure patients with BPJS insurance at cardiac clinic of Jakarta Islamic Hospital Cempaka Putih in October-December period. This research is a retrospective descriptive-quantitative study with sampling technique used Nonprobability Sampling. The sample in this study amounted 134 sheets of recipes. Abstract

Self-medication is the effort that most people do to overcome complaints or symptoms of illness before they decide to seek help from a health service center. Students majoring in pharmacy as prospective pharmacists certainly have competency standards in the pharmaceutical field. One of these competency standards is drug self-medication skills, which of course will be very important to master when you graduate from pharmacy college. In the process, this can be achieved by using the most appropriate and effective learning media in accordance with the learning objectives. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with 30 respondents. This research method is a survey with a quantitative research type with data collection using a questionnaire. The conclusion of this study is that learning video media has an influence on increasing students' ability to self-medication by conducting a T test using the Paired Samples T Test method. From the data above, a significance value of 0.046 > 0.05 is obtained, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. Where the hypothesis of this research is that learning video media has an influence and can increase the ability of drug self-medication in D3 Pharmacy students.

Abstract

Refer Back Program (PRB) is one of BPJS flagship programs to facilitate access to health services to participants with chronic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus. Diabetes Mellitus (DM) cannot be cured, but it is only to reduce the risk of instability. Adherence to taking drugs is classified into three kinds. One of them is not to redeem the recipe (refills not obtained). The purpose of this study was to describe the compliance with re-prescription in diabetes mellitus patients who followed the referral program at Medika Pharmacy. This research was conducted at the Medika Pharmacy. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, the research instrument used was the Medication Possesion Ratio (MPR) method and the analysis method used data collection sheets to collect data on patient names, names of anti-diabetes mellitus drugs, number of drugs, and date of prescription redemption. The results obtained from the MPR calculation of the number of days the patient should have received the drug and the number of days the patient did not receive the drug was said to be compliant if the percentage value was more than the same as 80% it was said to be disobedient if the percentage value was 80% down. The results of the study showed that the level of adherence to taking drugs from BPJS patients who took part in the Referral Program (PRB) at Apotek Medika was included in the obedient category for a period of 3 months (88,31%) and non-adherent for a period of 6 months (65,63%).
