Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition of kidney damage that occurs for 3 months or more in the form of structural or functional abnormalities of the kidneys with or without a decrease in the Glomerular Filtration Rate. So far, treatment for CKD can be done by hemodialysis, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and kidney transplantation. This study aims to determine the description of the use of drugs in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Hospital X Bekasi from January to March 2020. This study was conducted using a descriptive method. Sampling in January - March 2020 was carried out with the total sampling method, namely all electronic prescription sheets of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Hospital X Bekasi. Data were collected by calculating the amount and percentage based on the active substance and class of drugs used by CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Based on the results of observations of electronic prescriptions of drugs used by CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Hospital X Bekasi during January - March 2020, it can be concluded that the use of drugs based on the active substance is Calcium carbonate 500 mg capsules as many as 10580 capsules (59.07%), Sodium bicarbonate 500 mg tablets 1725 tablets (9.63%), Gentamicin sulfate 80 mg/2 ml inj 868 ampoules (4.85%), Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 200 mg/2 ml inj 753 ampoules (4.21% ), Recombinant human erythropoietin 3000 IU 678 injection (3.78%).

Abstract

The practice of self-medication is a lot of medication errors. Medication errors due to a lack of drug information. Self-medication is defined as the selection and use of medicines both herbal and synthetic drugs by a person to treat a disease or symptom that is self-recognized. In self-medication, it is best to follow the rational drug use requirements. The use of a drug is said to be irrational if the possibility of negative impacts received by the patient is greater than the benefits. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of knowledge about dental pain self-medication in RW 044 Bahagia, North Bekasi in April 2020, regarding the understanding of dental pain self-medication, the use of chemical drugs in dental pain self-medication, the use of traditional medicines in self-medication dental pain, where to get medicine for self-medication of dental pain, the reasons for self-medication of dental pain, and a source of drug information in self-medication for dental pain. The research method used is a descriptive research method to the community at RW 044 with the provision that 1 KK completes 1 questionnaire, with an age range of 25-64 years. The results of this study have a sufficient level of knowledge of 70 respondents (53.03%), So it can be concluded that the picture of community knowledge in RW 044 Bahagia, North Bekasi is sufficient.

Abstract

abuse. Whether it’s medicine that has been prescribed by a doctor because of illness, or medicine that people get on their own initiative. Mistakes in drug use can certainly have a fatal impact on consumers, especially when using over-the-counter and limited over-the counter drugs. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge of the people of the Duren Sawit Village area regarding the use of over-the-counter and limited over-the counter drugs. The method used is through counseling and administering pretest and posttest questionnaires. The results obtained were an increase in the average community knowledge score. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the outreach carried out is able to increase public knowledge.

Abstract

There have been changes in people’s behavior since Covid-19 to prevent the spread of Covid-19. People are starting to realize the importance of consuming health supplements as a way to prevent the spread of Covid-19. However, this is still not in line with increasing public awareness of supplement storage. Storage of supplements that do not meet the standards can reduce their stability. This is the background for Community Service (PkM) activities in the Penggilingan Village area. Community Service activities were carried out through presentation of material to 74 residents from several RW. The results of data processing show an increase in community knowledge after the outreach was held, which was measured using pre-test and post-test scores. Abstract

According to the American Heart Association (AHA), Americans over the age of 20 suffer from hypertension, reaching up to 74.5 million. Based on data from the Health Research (RISKEDAS) 2013, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is 25.8%. Hypertension is a silent killer where symptoms can vary in each individual. Hypertension is one of the main risk factors for heart disease, stroke, visual impairment and kidney disease. So in the treatment of hypertension the possibility of polypharmacy so that the occurrence of drug interactions increases. Drug interaction is a modification of the effect of a drug due to other drugs given initially or given together so that the effectiveness or toxicity of one drug or more changes. Based on data obtained from the medical record of Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital for primary hypertension in outpatient Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital in the period July to December 2018 there were 441 visits and ranked number 3. This study aims to determine the potential for drug interactions and determine the percentage of potential drug interactions based on the severity of drug interactions at the Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy Installation from October to December 2018 using drugs.com software. This research is a descriptive study and is included in a retrospective type of evaluative research. The number of samples taken was 322 prescription sheets with the taking technique used, namely the purposive sampling method. The results showed that there were 216 prescription sheets (67.08%) that had drug interactions with interaction severity ie minor (12.67%), moderate (78.73%), and major (8.60%).

Abstract

Pelayanan Kefarmasian adalah suatu pelayanan langsung dan bertanggung jawab kepada pasien yang berkaitan dengan sediaan farmasi dengan maksud mencapai hasil yang pasti untuk meningkatkan mutu kehidupan pasien. Kepuasan pasien merupakan kunci penting meningkatkan quality care dalam pelayanan kesehatan, health care provider perlu menyadari bahwa keuntungan utama sistem pelayanan kesehatan adalah pasien. Pasien yang puas akan selalu nyaman di Apotek, selalu kembali dan merekomendasikan kepada orang lain. Apotek Penggilingan Baru merupakan apotek yang baru berdiri dan belum pernah dilakukan evaluasi tentang kepuasan serta adanya keluhan yang disampaikan secara lisan terkait ketersediaan obat yang sering kosong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kepuasan pasien tentang pelayanan kefarmasian di Apotek Penggilingan Baru Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian ini merupan metode deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling, jumlah sampel sebanyak 313 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien Apotek Penggilingan Baru. Kriteria responden dalam penelitian ini adalah responden yang berusia 17-65 tahun dan pasien Apotek Penggilingan Baru yang bersedia mengisi kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa kuesioner. Hasil persentase keseluruhan kepuasan pasien terhadap lima dimensi bahwa dari 313 yang mengisi kuesioner di Apotek Penggilingan Baru di dapatkan hasil puas 70,93% (222 responden), sangat puas 29,07% ( 91 responden), cukup puas 0% (0 responden), tidak puas 0% (0 responden), sangat tidak puas 0% (0 responden). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan pasien Apotek Penggilingan Baru adalah kategori puas dengan nilai persentase 70,93%.

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah kondisi medis yang ditandai dengan peningkatan tekanan darah, baik sistolik maupun diastolik, melebihi ambang batas 140/90 mmHg. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh pembuluh darah yang memompa darah dengan kekuatan berlebih. Kepatuhan dalam mengkonsumsi obat antihipertensi merupakan faktor kunci untuk mencapai hasil pengobatan yang optimal pada pasien hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pola kepatuhan pasien dalam mengkonsumsi obat antihipertensi pada pasien Prolanis hipertensi di Klinik Pratama Bahagia selama periode Maret-April 2022. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden berusia lebih dari 60 tahun (65%), diikuti oleh kelompok usia 51-60 tahun (20%) dan 40-50 tahun (15%). Sebagian besar responden tidak bekerja (70%), sementara 30% bekerja. Dalam hal pendidikan, sebagian besar responden berpendidikan SMA (50%), diikuti oleh SLTA (20%), SMP (17,5%), SD (10%), dan D3 (2,5%). Mengenai kepatuhan pengobatan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan 2,5% responden memiliki kepatuhan tinggi, 25% kepatuhan sedang, dan 72,5% responden termasuk dalam kategori kepatuhan rendah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar pasien hipertensi menunjukkan tingkat kepatuhan rendah terhadap pengobatan antihipertensi. Hal ini menekankan pentingnya upaya untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pengobatan pada pasien hipertensi, terutama pada pasien usia lebih tua dan yang tidak bekerja.
