Abstract

Based on the 2020 worm survey in Semarang Regency, the prevalence of helminthiasis reached 65%–75% of the total examined samples. A preliminary survey in June 2021 involving 61 students of SDN  showed that 29 children (47.5%) tested positive for worm eggs. This study aimed to identify the relationship between helminthiasis incidence and several risk factors, including hand washing habits, nail hygiene, defecation facilities at home, drinking water habits, type of household flooring, and food hygiene among elementary school students. The research employed a cross-sectional study design, where each subject was observed once and measurements were conducted at the time of examination. The study was carried out in June 2021 at the Gedangan Health Center, Semarang Regency. The study population consisted of grade 3 to 5 students at SDN , totaling 61 individuals, and the research involved the entire population. The analysis revealed that certain variables had significant associations with worm infection incidence. These included hand washing habits before and after eating as well as after defecation, nail hygiene, type of defecation facilities at home, type of household flooring, and food hygiene. In contrast, the habit of drinking water did not show any significant relationship with helminthiasis incidence. To reduce the prevalence of worm infections among elementary school students, several preventive measures were recommended. These included administering treatment to infected children, conducting regular deworming programs, and intensifying health promotion activities related to clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). In particular, encouraging hand washing with soap before and after defecation was emphasized as a critical preventive practice. Furthermore, the role of school health programs (UKS) should be optimized to enhance children’s awareness of personal hygiene and health. This study highlights the importance of integrated school-based and community interventions to reduce worm infections and promote better health outcomes among students.

Abstract

The financing of PT ASKES PNS participants in health facilities uses a fee-for-service (FFS) system, where the service provider charges a fee for each action, then ASKES reimburses according to the provisions. However, participants often bear additional costs, especially for VIP treatments. Since January 1, 2014, the National Health Insurance (JKN) program has been implemented with BPJS as the organizer. This study aims to determine the difference in hospitalization rates between BPJS PNS participants and ASKES PNS after policy changes. The research method is in the form of an evaluation survey with a cross sectional approach, using the Independent T-test. The study population was inpatient with indications of typhoid fever. ASKES civil servant data was taken from January to March 2020 as many as 57 patients, while BPJS civil servants January-March 2022 were 72 patients. After the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, a final sample of 46 patients was obtained. The results showed that there was a significant difference (p = 0.001) in the average length of stay (ALOS), hospitalization rates, and costs. ALOS ASKES PNS is 4 days, while BPJS PNS is 5 days. The average hospitalization rate for ASKES civil servants is IDR 1,468,124, while BPJS civil servants is IDR 1,494,279. The cost of ASKES civil servant participants is higher (Rp 458,465) than BPJS PNS (Rp 287,889). The conclusion of this study is that there are significant differences in ALOS, tariffs, and fees between ASKES PNS and BPJS PNS. ALOS ASKES is shorter than hospital standards, while BPJS ALOS is according to standards. ASKES hospitalization rates are lower, but the cost is higher. It is recommended that hospitals in the JKN program improve the quality and quality of services.

Abstract

Stunting in toddlers is an indicator of the nutritional state of the community. Stunting is a condition where the child's height according to age (TB/U) is below minus two standard deviations (<-2SD) and can increase mortality and morbidity. Stunting can lead to decreased cognitive, motor, and language development, short stature, increased risk for obesity and its comorbidities, and decreased reproductive health. The purpose of the study was to find out the risk factors and most at risk for stunting incidence in toddlers aged 12-36 months. This type of research is quantitative analytical with a case-control study design. Sampling was carried out by Total Sampling, namely 78 toddlers in the case group and 78 toddlers in the control group. The bound variable is the incidence of stunting while the independent variable is exclusive breastfeeding, birth weight of toddlers, mother's education level, mother's job, and family economic status. Data were obtained through observation and interviews with questionnaires. The child's height is measured using a microtoise. Univariate analysis was carried out, bivariate analysis using Chi-Square by looking at Odds Ratio (OR), p value and X2 and multivariate analysis using multiple logistics analysis. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the risk factor for stunting in toddlers was the birth weight of the toddler (X2Count=41.134; p=0.000; OR=13,257; 95%CI=4,673-20,298), maternal education level (X2Count=49,937; p=0,000; OR=13,257; 95%CI=1,275-4,615). The results of the univariate analysis showed that the high-risk variable was the mother's education level (p = 0.000; exp(B)=18,495). Therefore, it was concluded that the risk factors for stunting incidence in toddlers aged 12-36 months in the work area of the Sorendiweri Health Center, Supiori Regency are 9.7 times the risk of low birth weight, the level of education of the mother at risk of 13.2 times and the work of the mother at risk of 2.4 times.

Abstract

Index in medical records services means a list of important words or terms arranged according to a specific procedure for the purpose of retrieval. Meanwhile, indexing according to Permenkes RI No. 24 of 2022 Article 18 is a data grouping activity in the form of at least an index of patient names, addresses, types of diseases, actions or operations, and deaths. One of the indices in RSU ARO Pekalongan is a disease index. Disease index is an index about a certain type of disease that has been assigned a diagnosis by a doctor and a disease diagnosis code by a medical recorder. This study is descriptive using the retrospective study method. The object in this study is the inpatient disease index at RSU ARO Pekalongan and the subject in this study is the Indexing officer at RSU ARO Pekalongan. Primary data sources are obtained through observation and interviews with indexing officers and medical record heads, while secondary data are obtained by looking directly at disease index table data. Creating an index that already uses a computer and disease index data that lists the major, second and complication diagnoses. Inpatient disease index management is good, but still semi-manual, it should be necessary to develop SIMRS that is integrated with patient index data management. Inpatient disease index data should be used as a basis for drug planning by improving the integrity or sustainability of existing SIMRS.

Abstract

The BOR, LOS, TOI, and BTO indicators at QIM Hospital in Batang are currently suboptimal, potentially contributing to issues like increased nosocomial infections and an incomplete view of service quality. This study aimed to analyze the trends of these indicators from 2018 to 2022 using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through observations and interviews with the reporting officer, focusing on Quality Indicator Reports for BOR, LOS, TOI, and BTO, along with secondary data on service indicators and TT availability. The analysis used Barber Johnson graphs and the least squares method. In 2018, BOR did not meet the Barber Johnson standard, but by 2019, it reached ideal levels, while LOS, TOI, and BTO remained suboptimal. The efficiency of BOR, LOS, TOI, and BTO declined from 2018-2020, improving in 2021. The trends from 2018-2025 for BOR and BTO showed positive shifts, while LOS and TOI continued to decline. The Barber Johnson chart indicated that from 2018-2022, QIM Hospital's performance remained outside the efficient zone, with projections suggesting the trends will persist. In conclusion, QIM Batang Hospital’s data management using Barber Johnson graphs is suboptimal. It is recommended that the hospital store data more efficiently and optimize services to meet ideal BOR targets in future years.

Abstract

From the results of interviews, there were still patients/patients' families who were not satisfied with TPPRI services because the speed and service skills of registration officers were still slow in serving registration. The aim of this research is to determine the level of satisfaction of patients/families of patients who register for inpatient registration based on five dimensions. This research uses descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The sample size used was 100 patients/families. The sampling technique used is Incidental Sampling. Collection methods are primary data and secondary data. The results of research on the level of satisfaction of patients/patients' families at the UPT inpatient registration at RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati based on five dimensions show that the level of patient satisfaction in the Tangibles dimension is 63.3%, the reliability dimension is 81.5%, the responsiveness dimension is 82.7%, the empathy dimension 84.4%, and the assurance dimension 87.6%. So the average percentage score for overall patient satisfaction is 79.9% with the satisfaction classification being satisfied. Researchers suggest that there is a need for facilities such as television, magazines, newspapers and wifi so that patients/patients' families do not get bored while waiting to register, providing cell phone chargers and drinking water. Comfortable room temperature/humidity temperature in the room must be taken into account so that the room is not hot by adding air conditioning in the registration waiting room to make it more comfortable, sequence numbers are provided for patients from the emergency room and outpatient patients, officers recheck patient data according to the patient's identity (KTP) and verify the data with the person registering so that no errors occur, and the officer gives the patient/patient's family the opportunity to ask again about information that is not understood.

Abstract

The accuracy of the diagnosis code on the medical record document is used as a basis for making reports. If the diagnosis code is not properly coded then the resulting information will have low validation. The results of the initial survey at UPTD Puskesmas Genuk in the Top 10 Trimonth III Disease Data in 2022, there are still many diagnosis codes that have not been coded until the 4th character. To determine the accuracy analysis of disease diagnosis codes based on ICD-10 with the application of the 4th character of the fourth quarter at UPTD Genuk Health Center in 2022. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a retrospective study approach. The primary data sources used are observation and interviews while the secondary data is from medical record data obtained from SIMPUS. The total population was 4,861 medical record data while the samples used were 98 with systematic random sampling techniques. Based on the results of research on 98 medical record data, the exact code is 21 (27.23%) while the incorrect code is 77 (72.77%). The inaccuracy of the diagnosis code is because the coding officer is not PMIK, the code is given only up to the 3rd character, there is no SPO for Giving Disease Diagnosis Codes, not using ICD-10 but a list of SIMPUS codes. accuracy of the diagnosis code of 27.23% is much lower than the inaccuracy, coding officers from PMIK should be conducted, Training on Giving Disease / Action Coding, Diagnosis Codes at SIMPUS are given keys so that coders can choose a specific code, SIMPUS plus facilities for PMIK officers to validate coding after service.

Abstract

The prevalence of myopia has significantly increased over the past 50–60 years and is no longer limited to urban areas in East Asia. In the United States, approximately 148 million people (51% of the population) use visual correction aids, with 34 million wearing contact lenses. The incidence of myopia rises with age: 3% among children aged 5–7 years, 8% in those aged 8–10 years, 14% in ages 11–12 years, and up to 25% among adolescents aged 12–17 years. This study aims to determine the prevalence of refractive error (myopia) due to e-learning among students at SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto. A quantitative survey method with a cross-sectional approach was used, involving questionnaires and direct visual acuity examinations. The study involved 26 respondents, with the majority being female (88.46%). The results showed that 4 students (15.38%) were diagnosed with refractive error (myopia) after engaging in e-learning. The number of students with visual acuity decline increased from 6 students (23.08%) to 10 students (38.46%) after the implementation of online learning. These findings suggest that e-learning, particularly with excessive gadget use, contributes to the rising incidence of myopia among students. This study highlights the potential link between prolonged screen time and visual health, underlining the need for preventative measures to reduce the adverse effects of digital learning on eye health.
