Abstract

Glasses are an important need of people with the growth of increasing use. Consideration of user comfort is the determinant of purchasing decisions. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of user comfort level on the decision to purchase glasses. The study used a sample of 20 respondents using questionnaires and Field Research methods, which were carried out through observation in the field to obtain empirical information in accordance with existing reality. The nature of the research is qualitative descriptive, which is research that produces descriptive data to get an idea of the reality of certain social phenomena. The user's comfort level has a significant effect on the purchase decision, with indicators of refraction check (90%), lens type (85%), frame fitting (95%), and frame material (80%). The conclusion obtained from the study is that optical stores must increase the level of user comfort to increase sales.

Abstract

Providing medical information must follow applicable procedures. Medical information can be provided if the patient signs and authorizes a third party to obtain medical information about him. The aim of this research is to determine the procedure for releasing medical record information to third parties at RSU Budi Rahayu Pekalongan. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research using observation and interview methods and the data source uses primary data, namely power that is directly given to the data collector. The results of the research show that the procedure for releasing medical record information to third parties at RSU Budi Rahayu is based on the existence of 5 SOPs for releasing medical record information with the procedure for the applicant to come with a power of attorney signed by the patient and the patient's identity requirements, and if the request is from the police it must be with a police letter. directly or from the director's letter. Data creation for the release of medical record documents takes 2-3 days. In the data creation process, sometimes there are inhibiting factors when the doctor responsible for the patient is not in the room and the files needed to release the information are sometimes not found. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the release of medical record information to third parties at RSU Budi Rahayu is in accordance with theory even though there are still missing requirements and obstacles related to doctors not being in place and files for data release not being found.

Abstract

The Puskesmas Management Information System (Simpus) is a tool that provides information to support the decision-making process in the implementation of puskesmas management. This study aims to determine the application of Simpus in the Medono Health Center in Pekalongan City based on five management elements, namely man, material, method, money, and machine. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with in-depth observation and interview methods, involving five main informants and one source triangulation. The results of the study show that the implementation of Simpus in the registration unit has gone well, but it is not optimal in the PPU poly, dental poly, KIA, and pharmaceutical units. Some of the obstacles found include the unavailability of the Simpus SOPs, limited facilities such as damaged computers at the dental polyclinic, incomplete Simpus application features according to the needs of the unit, and internet network disruptions that cause delays in data input. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of Simpus at the Medono Health Center has not been optimal. Therefore, it is recommended that the health center provide training to officers related to the use of Simpus and strengthen the management function of the Head of the Puskesmas through periodic monitoring and evaluation so that Simpus can run optimally and support more effective health services.

Abstract

Fruit ice is one of the most popular street foods in Semarang City due to its refreshing taste and affordable price. However, improper hygiene and sanitation practices during preparation may lead to contamination by pathogenic microorganisms, including Escherichia coli as an indicator of fecal contamination. This study aims to describe the hygiene and sanitation practices of fruit ice vendors and to identify the presence of Escherichia coli in the products sold in Semarang City. This research applied a descriptive quantitative method with a comparative design. The population consisted of all fruit ice vendors in Semarang City, with a total of 30 vendors selected using total sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and laboratory examination using MacConkey Agar medium. The results showed that most vendors did not meet hygiene and sanitation requirements, and out of 30 fruit ice samples examined, 20 were found positive for Escherichia coli. The study concludes that hygiene and sanitation practices among fruit ice vendors in Semarang City remain inadequate, and the presence of Escherichia coli in the products indicates potential public health risks. It is recommended that continuous training for vendors, regular supervision by health authorities, and community education be conducted to encourage consumers to select safer food options.
