Abstract

Environmental problems in Indonesia include the energy crisis and the threat of critical land that impacts biodiversity, climate, pollution, and deforestation. Indonesia needs sustainable solutions such as the implementation of a green waqf model. The green waqf program is implemented by producing waqf land through plants, such as Tamanu (Calophyllum Inophyllum). The green waqf program in Indonesia has been initiated since 2020 with Tamanu as the main plant. Waqf institutions that have now begun to actively synergize with wacid to plant Tamanu include the Sinergi Foundation and Paramadina. This research aims to analyze the development strategy of Tamanu-based green waqf using the ANP-SWOT method. Based on in-depth interviews with stakeholders, several development strategies were formulated, such as creating collaboration programs with parties that focus on environmental issues for the future development of Tamanu green waqf in Indonesia. The formulation of strategies can be a policy recommendation for the implementation of waqf institutions that implement the Tamanu green waqf program.

Abstract

Economic problems are a fundamental problem that occurs in every region and is experienced by all people. This problem occurs because of the gap between the rich and the poor, giving rise to the symptoms of poverty, with the emergence of poverty the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) becomes one of the government-owned virtue institutions which aims to collect and channel zakat funds. In its distribution, BAZNAS formed the Bina Zakat Group (KBZ) spread in various regions, one of which was in East OKU Regency, precisely in the village of Banuayu and the village of Muncak Kabau. Each Bina Zakat Group (KBZ) received Rp.10,000,000 each as a stimulant fund.In the discussion concluded that, first the role of BAZNASdistribution has not gone well, this was due to a lack of supervision and assistance for the development of businesses run by the community using productive zakat funds, both KBZ East OKU who received capital assistance, only KBZ in Banuayu village succeeded in running a brick business where it had funds of Rp.32,000,000 and is still running today; Whereas KBZ in Muncak Kabau village failed to develop zakat funds because the type of goat livestock business was not suitable because livestock which had originally grown from 10 to 17, now died. The missing funds have no demands to replace them. Then the two systems return to the religious factors of the community.

Abstract

This article describes the cash waqf management strategies inIndonesia. Begins with understanding endowment perspective of Islamiclaw and the juridical basis of the cash endowments. Further discussion aboutthe problems of the management of the funds cash waqf, covered in it aboutthe rigidity of Muslims against the waqf, understanding still mistakenlyamong some Muslims about cash waqf, and the lack of professionalism ofthe management of waqf (nadzir waqf) and managing waqf property eitherin the form of cash waqf or not cash. At the end of the discussion talkedabout cash waqf management strategies are covered in it on a nationalscale the importance of Waqf Institution in institutions of IndonesianWaqf Board Beran as a supervisor and management of waqf productively.Formation BWI has the objective to organize the management of the nationaladministration, manage their own waqf property entrusted to him, especiallywith regard to the productive waqf land. Discussed also about buildingcommunity self-reliance by implementing and managing both cash waqf.

Abstract

This study investigates religiosity's influence on paying zakat intention for millennials with attitude as a mediation variable. A Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach tests the measurement and structural model. The sampling technique is judgmental sampling to get 100 respondents through questionnaires distributed according to the characteristics of predetermined respondents. This study explains that religiosity and attitude positively and significantly affect paying zakat intention for millennials. In addition, this study also shows that attitude mediates the relationship between religiosity and paying zakat intention for millennials. This study provides a managerial implication for zakat institutions to have a better understanding that religiosity and attitude are essential to encourage Muslim millennials to pay zakat and the significant role of millennials in alleviating poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstractManagement of waqf professionally will be able to empower potential productive endowments. Endowments have played an important role in driving the economy and meet the needs of Egyptian society. Pioneers first waqf in Egypt was a judge in the era of Hisham bin Abdul Malik, named Tauba bin Namir al-Hadrami who became a judge in the year 115 H. He is donating the land to build the dam and its benefits are developed productively for the benefit of the people. Wakaf pioneered by Tauba this very rapid growth, and even become a major asset for the people of Egypt. Efforts to modernize Egypt endowments managed by the issuance of Law No. 48 Year 1946 regarding waqf law covering the terms of endowments and endowment. Then in 1971 published Law No. 80 that inspired the establishment of an Egyptian Waqf Board specifically address the issue of endowments and development. Egyptian Waqf Board referred to in this law then promulgated by decree of the President of Egypt on 12 Sha'ban 1392 AH (20 September 1972), which is responsible for doing the same work and empower endowments, in accordance with the mandate of the law and the program of the Ministry Egyptian Endowments. Waqf Board's task is to coordinate and implement all the distribution of endowments, as well as all activities perwakafan to comply with the objectives set by the Shari'ah.

Abstract

Waqf is a potential Islamic economic instrument to support sustainable development, while the blue economy offers a welfare-based marine conservation approach. This study aims to integrate both as a development strategy in Indonesia using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method to systematically determine policy priorities. The data for this study were obtained from nine experts comprising regulators, academics, and practitioners who were selected based on their competence and understanding of strategic issues in waqf management. The results of the analysis show that low nazhir capacity, limited data, and minimal business innovation are the main obstacles. Priority solutions identified include strengthening sectoral policies, improving human resource competencies, and developing waqf business models. The most superior strategies are based on data, research, and technology. These findings indicate that the integration of waqf and the blue economy can be an innovative approach in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, by encouraging cross-sector collaboration and value-based policies. This study contributes to the integrative literature and can be a reference in formulating waqf-based sustainable maritime development policies

Abstract

Waste in various cities becomes a crucial problem and becomes wasted material. To overcome this problem, according to Law No. 18 of 2018 on Waste Management, everyone has the right to participate in the decision-making process, implementation, and supervision in the field of waste management. One community that actively participates in waste management is the Citizens of Environmental Care (WPL) of Depok by implementing sharia transaction agreements. This study aims to describe the implementation of sharia transaction agreements in waste management by WPL Depok. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. While the techniques used in this research are observation, interview and literature study. The results of this study indicate that waste management by WPL Depok uses sharia transaction agreements including: wadiah savings, qordh financing, and musyarakah cooperation. This model can be applied to other Waste Banks as a form of community empowerment based on sharia transaction agreements.

Abstract

Restrictions study area in this article, the starting point of three scholarly foundation, the foundation of ontology related to the object of study, epistemological ground with regard to the method used in the study and axiology berkaiatan foundation with the purpose or significance of the study. The object of study in this article is the competence of the Religious Court in the interpretation of Islamic family law in Indonesia, covering permasalahn Interpretation of Family Law Islamic Religious Courts Indonesia, procedures Interpretation of Family Law Islamic Religious Courts Indonesia, Judgment of Religious Courts in Indonesia there Interpretation Law and competent in the interpretation of Islamic Family Law in Indonesian Religious Courts. The method used, the study included a kind of normative legal studies approach to the blade, then the method of analysis, there are three, namely; (1) political approach; (2) statue approach; (3) analytical approach. The data source materials normative, ie competence Religious Court of Indonesia and all sources of Islamic family law that is set in the regulations and legislation arranged in hierarchical. Data collection techniques to study the document. This study, including qualitative assessment of normative, the analytical descriptive analysis (explanatory). Theoretical framework used,, ie at the level of grand theory using the theory of ijtihad, the middle level of theory using the theory of law and society and on the plains applied theory using the theory of Islamic Sharia judicial system. While the significance of this study is to find the source of the law, the legal function and purpose of law. The results in this study, which was to find the nature of legal interpretation, legal interpretation procedures, problems that are interpreted in the Religious and who are competent to interpret the Islamic family law in Indonesian Religious Courts.

Abstract

The National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Kudus Regency is a non-structural government institution that manages zakat in the Kudus Regency area. The problem in this research is how the effectiveness of zakat distribution of BAZNAS in Kudus Regency? The objectives of this study include: to measure the effectiveness of zakat distribution for BAZNAS in Kudus Regency. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The qualitative method uses a descriptive approach. Meanwhile, the quantitative method uses the Zakat Core Principle ratio (ZCP) measurement model. The object used in this study is the BAZNAS financial statements in the first year of 2019. The results of this study indicate that the amount of Zakat collection in 2019 Rp. 2,682,855,379. Meanwhile, the amount of Zakat distribution in 2019 was Rp. 1,856,423,965 Based on the ZCP, the level of effectiveness of distribution in 2019 was operating at 70% (seventy percent). This shows that the level of effectiveness of BAZNAS zakat distribution in 2019 is in the Effective category where the Allocation to Collection Ratio (ACR) reaches 70 percent - 89 percent.

Abstract

This article describes the role of zakat in poverty alleviation. Zakatthan as an obligation for Muslims, through zakat, the Quran makesa responsibility for Muslims to mutual help among others. Therefore, in ourobligations zakat is the element of moral, educational, social and economic(Rozalindah, 2014: 248): In the field of morality, charity scrape out the greedand avarice of the rich, purify the souls of those who perform the prayer of thenature miser, purify and develop property object. Education in the obligationof zakat can be gleaned from curiosity to give, berinfak and give up some ofits property as evidence of compassion for fellow human beings. In the socialfield, the charity, the poor group can play a role in his life, acted upon itsobligations to God, for helping zakat and sadaqah given by people who are able.With the zakat Similarly, people who are not able to feel that they are part ofthe community members, not the wasted and underestimated. In the economicfield, zakat can play a role in preventing the accumulation of wealth in a fewhands only, and obliges the rich to redistribute wealth to the group of thefamily fortune and destitute. So, zakat also serve as a potential source of fundsfor poverty reduction. Zakat can also serve as working capital for the poor tobe able to open up employment opportunities, so they can earn and be able tomeet their daily needs harinya.ipetik of curiosity giving, berinfak and give upsome of its property as evidence of compassion for fellow human beings. In thesocial field, the charity, the poor group can play a role in his life, acted upon itsobligations to God, for helping zakat and sadaqah given by people who are able.
