Abstract

Siti Khodijah Hospital, type B hospital, is one of Muhammadiyah's health charities which is located in 260 Pahlawan Road, Sepanjang, Sidoarjo, East Java. The majority of the operating activities in this hospital use electrical energy, such as the use of medical equipment and other medical equipment that requires the consumption of electrical energy with a large enough capacity. The use of the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method has the aim of obtaining optimal results in making a decision, namely by simplifying a complex problem that is not structured and systematic. The results of this energy audit are able to provide new ideas to the hospital head through savings programs designed based on the 4M+1E concept (Man, Machine, Method, Material and Environment). The implementation of the results of this study can reduce the cost of using electrical energy by 14%, which is IDR 375,800,000 of the year's electricity costs.

Abstract

Manual data management in Islamic boarding schools often leads to inefficiencies and record-keeping errors. This study aims to design and implement a web-based monitoring information system at Pondok Pesantren Manba’ul Ihsan Al-Baedlowi to improve administrative efficiency and communication. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. Laravel framework was used due to its structured development support and strong security features. The results show that the system effectively manages student data, activity schedules, payment records, and student achievements. Blackbox testing confirmed that all features functioned as expected. The system provides easy access for administrators and parents/guardians, and supports data-driven decision-making processes. In conclusion, the developed information system is effective in improving the management process of the boarding school and is feasible for continuous implementation with regular maintenance.

Abstract

Fast, transparent, and easily accessible public services are the primary needs of the community in supporting effective regional development. Arut Selatan District, Kotawaringin Barat Regency, realizes the importance of digital transformation in improving the quality of public information services. The development of a sub-district profile website called SAKTI (Integrated Sub-district Administration System Service) was initiated as an effort to digitize public information services to facilitate public access to various administrative and information services provided by the sub-district. This internship report aims to document the process of developing and evaluating the implementation of the SAKTI website as an innovation in public services based on information technology. using direct observation methods, implementing website development, documenting administrative activities, and interviewing employees and community users of the service. The evaluation was carried out by referring to laws and regulations related to public services and information technology, as well as analyzing the obstacles faced during the implementation process. Results: Producing a final product that the SAKTI website has a positive impact on increasing service transparency and accelerating public access to public administration information. However, infrastructure constraints such as limited internet connections that are not evenly distributed and low digital literacy in the community are significant obstacles to optimal use of the website. In addition, website management and maintenance require increased human resource capacity in the sub-district so that service sustainability can be maintained. This report confirms that digitalization of services through websites is a strategic step to support more efficient and inclusive public services at the sub-district level. Continuous support is needed in the form of improving technological infrastructure, digital literacy training for the community and sub-district employees, and professional website management so that this innovation can provide maximum benefits to the wider community.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has driven the transformation of conventional student ID cards (KTM) into digital-based cards with various additional functions. This study aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of a digital-based multifunctional e-KTM at Trunojoyo University, Madura using the prototype method. This method was chosen because it allows rapid design iteration based on user feedback. This e-KTM is expected to not only function as a student identity, but can also be used for library access, attendance, payments, and other academic services. The design process involves needs analysis, initial design creation, user testing, and improvements based on evaluation results. The results of the study show that the application of the prototype method improves the quality of UI/UX design by better meeting user needs. With this multifunctional e-KTM, it is hoped that the efficiency of campus services will increase and provide a more practical experience for students.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a website-based new student admission system. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall development model, through the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews with the school, and literature studies. The system was developed using PHP Native, MySQL, and Bootstrap with the help of the Visual Studio Code editor. The new student admission process at UPT SMPN 4 Satap Malangke is still done manually, causing obstacles such as file accumulation, recording errors, and lack of time and energy efficiency. The solution offered is an online system that allows prospective students to register, fill out forms, and upload documents without having to come to school. Admin can verify data more quickly and accurately. The test results using the black box method showed that all system functions were running well. Validation by system experts obtained an average score of 3.69 and by practitioner experts of 4.00, both in the "Very Eligible" category. Meanwhile, testing from 29 respondents obtained a percentage of 78.4% in the "Good" category.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the village financial management system in an effort to improve the efficiency and transparency of nagari financial management in Harau District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The village financial system is an important instrument in the financial governance of village or nagari governments, supporting accountability, efficiency, and transparency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collects data through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies in five nagari in Harau District. The results show that the implementation of the village financial system has brought significant changes in increasing the efficiency of budget management and the transparency of financial reporting. Several supporting factors for the successful implementation have been identified, including the commitment of nagari leaders, adequate human resource capacity, and support from information technology infrastructure. However, some challenges remain, such as the limited expertise of nagari officials in operating the system and uneven internet connectivity. This research recommends strengthening the capacity of nagari officials through ongoing training, providing adequate information technology infrastructure, and developing a more comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system.

Abstract

The process of learning Basic Mathematics at the elementary school level still faces various challenges, particularly in terms of the lack of engaging teaching media that align with students' characteristics. This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based Basic Mathematics learning application using the Design Thinking approach. This method was chosen for its empathetic, creative, and user-centered nature, which is expected to produce relevant and interactive learning solutions. The research was conducted through five stages of Design Thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The research subjects consisted of 25 students and 3 teachers at an elementary school. The empathize stage revealed that students struggled to understand basic concepts such as multiplication and division, and showed low interest in conventional learning methods. Based on these findings, a mathematics learning application was developed featuring three main functions: Learn, Practice, and Quiz. Trial results indicated an average post-test score improvement of 18% compared to the pre-test, along with positive responses from students and teachers regarding the application’s interface and functionality. This application not only supports improved learning outcomes but also enhances students’ motivation through visual approaches and gamification. The conclusion of this study demonstrates that the Design Thinking approach is effective when applied to the development of mobile learning applications, offering a significant contribution to improving the quality and experience of learning basic mathematics for elementary school students.

Abstract

In the digital era, social media has become a strategic tool for enhancing communication between government institutions and the public. Sirimau District, one of the administrative regions in Ambon City, utilizes the Instagram platform to disseminate public service information more quickly, broadly, and efficiently. This study aims to analyze how the official Instagram account of the Sirimau District functions as an information channel and to evaluate its effectiveness and challenges in reaching the community. The research is grounded in the New Public Service theory, which emphasizes citizen participation and information transparency in governance. The findings indicate that Instagram is effectively used to share announcements, service schedules, event documentation, and even facilitate direct interaction with citizens. However, challenges such as digital literacy gaps and limited internet access hinder the platform's full potential. The study concludes that Instagram plays a significant role in improving transparency and accessibility of public service information in Sirimau District, although additional strategies are needed to ensure inclusive outreach across all community segments.

Abstract

Attendance is an activity carried out by a person to declare that he or she is present at a job or activity. SMKN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur has an attendance process that is still done manually. This kind of absence has the weakness, namely that it allows damage to attendance papers and requires a long time in recapitulating and searching for data, and there is fraud from students who fill in attendance not at the designated internship location because they are not monitored directly. Based on this problem, researchers are interested in building a coordinate attendance system application using GPS that can solve this problem. With this attendance, it is also easier, faster and more effective for students to fill in the attendance list without cheating. This attendance uses GPS Lock and the Havershine formula algorithm to determine the location with high accuracy and calculates a maximum distance of 20 meters from the specified coordinate point. The results and benefits of the attendance application using coordinates for internship students at SMKN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur are that it facilitates the attendance process between students and teachers, reduces fraud that occurs, and avoids damage to attendance data so that it can produce more accurate reports.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has driven public institutions to undertake digital transformation as a strategic measure to establish a modern, efficient, and adaptive form of governance. Digitalization within the bureaucracy, particularly at the sub-district level, has become increasingly urgent in response to the growing complexity of public service demands and citizens’ expectations for fast, accurate, and transparent services. The Abepura District Office, as a local government unit under the City of Jayapura, has adopted various digital information systems to enhance internal administrative functions. One notable system is the SI-KARIWARI application, which serves as a financial management tool used for budget recording, planning, and reporting. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the SI-KARIWARI application in improving administrative service quality at the Abepura District Office. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through direct observation during the academic internship, informal interviews with civil servants, and document reviews of the digital systems used in day-to-day operations. The analysis framework was guided by the principles of Indonesia’s Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), with evaluation indicators including operational efficiency, data accuracy, budget transparency, and the ease of interdepartmental coordination.
