Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly. Many organizations and companies have implemented computerized and structured information systems to support their work. However, there are still business sectors that have not yet implemented a computerized information system, such as the bakery in Tambaksari, namely Box Cakes and Pastry, which still carries out its work manually in recording stock of goods and checking the expiration date on each item displayed. at the shop, The final result of this research is a stock management information system in which stock data recording and checking is no longer done manually but instead uses a computerized system. This system will sort expiration dates automatically by applying the FEFO method, then this system will display notifications / reminders for employees working at Box Cakes and Pastry to make it easier to find out items that are approaching their expiration date.

Abstract

Website-based public services are certainly an important part of supporting the success of a higher education institution, one of which is a journal website for the publication of scientific articles for lecturers and students. However, many of these website-based services are still difficult to use and do not function well. This research was conducted to evaluate whether the ABC Journal website has usability testing acceptability criteria and find out how much user acceptance the website has. The method used in this research is the Usability Testing method. Based on the results of data processing, the average value of the overall usability test to measure the use of the ABC Journal website for the Learnability aspect was 3.25, Efficiency was 3.30, Memorability was 3.20, Errors were 3.28 and Satisfaction was 3.23. These results show that the ABC Journal website is quite easy to use. Suggestions to the administrator of the ABC Journal Website, to increase the value of each aspect of usability so that it can be easy to use for its users.

Abstract

The urgency of research with the theme of designing and implementing a smart home monitoring and control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve energy efficiency and quality of life is very important to carry out, in general it can be described as being able to increase energy efficiency; improve the quality of life where the system can regulate temperature, humidity and lighting to create a comfortable and healthy environment; encourage innovation; providing solutions to environmental challenges; optimizing energy availability where the smart home IoT system can regulate the use of available energy. Thus, it is very important to carry out this research to face environmental challenges and improve people's quality of life. The main objective of this research is to develop a system that can monitor and control energy use in the home efficiently, so as to improve energy efficiency and the quality of life of home residents, to overcome weaknesses and develop a holistic and effective smart home monitoring and control system. IoT based. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method, where this method is a process or steps to develop a new product or improve an existing product, which can be accounted for. The research results show that the IoT system can be designed and function well based on the results of the tests that have been carried out.

Abstract

One of the three main factors influencing population dynamics is migration, along with births and deaths. Changes in population structure will definitely be influenced by migration. If in-migration is more than out-migration, the population will increase, but if out-migration is less than in-migration, the population will decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to know the grouping of regions based on population migration levels. To carry out this grouping, it is necessary to use Data mining methods. In this research, the Data mining used is Clustering using the K-Medoids algorithm. This method divides each district into predetermined groups. The K-Medoids method was chosen because it uses physical data that is not abstract and clear, which is suitable for the problem of grouping population migration data. By grouping migration levels based on districts/cities in West Java, it will be known which districts/cities in West Java have high levels of incoming migration, medium migration and high outmigration. Then recommendations can be given to the local government according to the migration level category.

Abstract

This research examines the role of influencer marketing in making brand strategy decisions for the HiLo Active Protein Berry Fitshake campaign using Google Looker Studio. The focus of the research is analyzing campaign output data, such as engagement rate (ER) and views, to evaluate influencer performance and provide recommendations for future campaigns. The methodology used is a qualitative approach-case study using primary data from TikTok insights and secondary data from the literature. The research results show that influencers A and C have the best performance in ER and views, making it a key consideration for future collaborations. Additionally, influencers F, H, and E have above average ER, while influencers B, G, and J achieve the highest number of views. This study confirms the effectiveness of Google Looker Studio in visualizing data to support brand strategy decision making, especially at the monitoring and evaluation stage.

Abstract

Digitalization in business has started to penetrate various sectors, particularly in assisting with the preparation of financial statements to improve financial performance. However, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as business entities in society, have not fully embraced digitalization. The main challenge is the lack of integration between SMEs' financial systems and technology, which impacts their financial performance. The current system cannot automatically record financial transactions, often lacks accuracy, contains errors, and is inefficient in recording and generating reports. To enhance the financial performance of SMEs by leveraging technology, a new information system has been designed to accelerate the preparation of automated financial statements, with a high level of accuracy in transaction recording. Three variabels were observed and tested, including automation, accuracy, and time efficiency. The system development followed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, while testing was conducted by analyzing questionnaire data. The test results revealed a strong relationship between the variabels. The information system significantly contributes to financial performance, accounting for 95%, and has a significant impact on financial performance. These findings indicate that the implementation of an accounting information system for financial management is highly feasible. Additionally, the system can serve as an effective technological solution to help improve the financial performance of SMEs.

Abstract

Students in higher education are an important target audience for AI education because they need to develop the skills needed to effectively handle AI in their careers. Before we can provide appropriate AI teaching or education to students, data is needed to determine the extent of students' knowledge about AI. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of students' knowledge about AI and what variables could be related to it. The research method used a cross-sectional study design with 132 students and the data were analyzed using the Chi Square test, Mann Whitney, and logistic regression. The results showed that 66.7% of students had high AI knowledge. The results of the bivariate test showed that the independent variable related to the level of AI knowledge in students is the status of AI use. While in the multivariate test, the variables related to the level of AI knowledge are gender and major.

Abstract

The selection of outstanding PLP/Laboran at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis is an effort to appreciate the contributions of educational staff in supporting academic and non-academic activities. However, the manual selection process faces challenges such as taking a long time and being inefficient. To simplify and improve the accuracy of the selection process, a web-based Decision Support System is needed to assist the committee and judges in selecting outstanding laborans. This system uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with weights assigned to each criterion, namely education, self-description, and outstanding achievements. The implementation of the SAW method in this system results in ranking laborans, which helps determine the winner. Based on testing with five field data, the system shows an accuracy of 100%. The software development method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP), which emphasizes step-by-step system development with a focus on user needs at each stage. The implementation of RUP shows that this system is easy to use, meets user needs, and helps the selection process run more smoothly.

Abstract

The performance evaluation of student organizations (Ormawa) at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis is an essential part of the end-of-term management assessment, serving as a form of accountability and a basis for future development. The manual process used so far often takes considerable time and is prone to errors. To address this issue, a web-based decision support system was developed using the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method, which applies a weighting system in the decision-making process. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, enabling a fast and efficient development process through a linear and sequential methodology. The implementation of the MFEP method in the system achieved an accuracy rate of 88.88%, based on a comparison between field data and system processing results.

Abstract

Nutrition is an important factor in the growth and development of toddlers. Good nutritional status has a significant impact on their health and future. On the other hand, nutritional issues in toddlers can lead to serious consequences, with the risk of causing death. However, many parents struggle to determine their child's nutritional status due to limited knowledge caused by a lack of education on nutrition, financial constraints, busy work schedules, and infrequent visits to healthcare facilities for nutritional check-ups. As a solution, this research develops an expert system to determine the nutritional status of toddlers using the Certainty Factor method. The Certainty Factor method is chosen for its ability to generate a level of certainty in diagnoses, helping parents understand their child's nutritional condition. Based on the research results, this system has been implemented with an accuracy rate of 96.15%. Therefore, this expert system can serve as an accurate and reliable tool, especially for parents in determining their toddler's nutritional status.
