Abstract

This Classroom Action Research conducted in Grade VI of SDN 012/II Empelu was motivated by preliminary observations, which indicated the low quality of both the learning process and student outcomes. This could be seen from learning activities that were not yet aligned with the requirements of the Merdeka Curriculum and from the average scores of daily tests that were still below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP). To address this issue, the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model was implemented using “puzzle” media. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of the learning process and student outcomes through the application of the SAVI model on the topic How Our Body Moves. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 25 Grade VI students of SDN 012/II Empelu, while the object of the study was the implementation of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) model in IPAS learning. Data collection techniques included observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the implementation of the SAVI model with puzzle media was categorized as very good. In terms of process, teacher and student engagement improved from the “good” category in Cycle I to “very good” in Cycle II. In terms of learning outcomes, the students’ average score increased from 70.4% in Cycle I to 86.3% in Cycle II, with the percentage of learning mastery rising from 28% to 80%. The application of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) model proved effective in enhancing student activeness and conceptual understanding of IPAS.

Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) was conducted to improve the learning process and outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 223/II Rantau Embacang through the implementation of the Index Card Match (ICM) model in the topics of decimal numbers and integers. The study was motivated by preliminary observations indicating low student engagement and poor learning outcomes, as shown by learning processes not aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum and daily test scores below the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKTP). The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 19 students. Data collection methods included observation and tests, using observation sheets and test instruments. The results showed a significant improvement: the teacher’s performance increased by 25% from Cycle I to Cycle II, reaching 100%; student engagement increased by 50%, reaching 87.5%, surpassing the success indicator of 70%; and student learning outcomes improved from 47% at the initial observation to 75% at the end. In conclusion, the implementation of the ICM model helped actively involve students in the learning process, leading to improved learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the Students’ difficulties in understanding the materials that explained by teacher and the lack of the learning models and materials related to students’ environment were the problems arised the background of the research. In addition, the other problems were the lack of the students’ involvement in teaching and learning (CTL) processes and the students’assumption that the science subject is only about memorization. Therefore, the students were not active in the learning processes. Eventually, these problems caused the low of the students’ learning outcomes. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on students’ learning outcomes on science of subject in second grade on SD Negeri 129/II Babeko regency. The type used in this study is an Quasi Experimental Design that is Non-equivalent Group Post-test Only Design type. In this research, there were experimental and control class. The experimental class was treated by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, while the control class was not treated by Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. The population is a complete set of individual units whose characteristics want to be know. The population in this sttudy were all students of class III A and III B.The sampels of this research were 18 students of control class and 19 students of experimental class. The Measurements of the students’ learning outcomes were based on the research instruments in the form of multiple choice test. The results of the t-test calculation obtained by SPSS was ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???????????????????????? (2,273>1,689), at the significance 0,05 level, showed that the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning models effected the students’ learning outcomes. In addition the data obtained from the observations in this research was very good. The conclusion is that there is an increase in student learning outcomes between class III A who uses the ctl learning model and class III bstudents sho do not use the CTL learning model. From the results of the study, it is recommended that learning eith the CTL learning model can improve Student Learning outcomes, it should be used as an alternative in science learning activities, especially on the material of energy sources.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted on fourth-grade students at SDN 60/II Muara Bungo, motivated by their low listening skills, as evidenced by their learning outcomes and the average score of the Indonesian language learning test. Of the 24 students, only 11 completed the course and 13 failed. This indicates continued low student learning outcomes. Therefore, a learning model that can improve students' listening skills is Problem-Based Learning. The purpose of this study was to improve students' listening skills using the Problem-Based Learning model in Indonesian language learning in fourth-grade students at SDN 60/II Muara Bungo. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 24 fourth-grade students at SDN 60/II Muara Bungo. Data collection used teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, and test questions. The results obtained from this study include: 1) students' listening skills using the Problem Based Learning model are categorized as good, 2) after the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model, the results and learning processes of students in each cycle have increased above the KKTP value of 70, 3) increasing students' interest and motivation in learning through the application of the Problem Based Learning model. The application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can increase students' activeness and cooperation in learning with the presence of video media displayed which can help students to be more focused and attract students' attention in the learning process, so that it can improve the completeness of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is based on observations conducted on July 16-17, 2025, in grade II of SDN 036/VI Rantau Panjang. It was found that there were problems in the learning process of students who were unfamiliar with letters and had difficulty distinguishing letters with similar shapes, were unable to combine letters into words, and the use of ineffective learning methods and media in grade II of SDN 036/VI Rantau Panjang. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles consisting of four meetings, each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of this study show the process and outcomes of Indonesian language learning in grade II of SDN 036/VI Rantau Panjang, with 22 students, including 13 boys and 9 girls. Details of teacher observations in cycle I showed an average of 67%, categorized as fairly good, and in cycle II, 87%, categorized as very good. The results of student observations in cycle I with a percentage of 50% are in the poor category, while in cycle II 82% are in the good category. The results of student learning in cycle I are 56% with poor criteria and do not reach KKTP, in cycle II 79% are in good criteria and reach KKTP. And it is concluded that the use of synthetic analytical structural methods assisted by image media can improve the ability to read Indonesian language learning
