Abstract

The dynamics of today's digital economy have driven many Generation Z students to take on dual roles as learners and income earners. This reality presents significant challenges, particularly in managing financial constraints and academic workload. This study aims to explore how Generation Z students perceive and respond to financial and academic pressures while balancing work and university commitments. A qualitative approach was applied using a structured questionnaire composed of open- and close-ended items distributed to active student-workers. The theoretical foundation is grounded in Peter Drucker's concept of self-management and Stephen Covey’s principles of time and priority management. The findings indicate that most students experience difficulty maintaining financial stability and academic performance. However, many demonstrate adaptive behavior in organizing their schedules, setting priorities, and applying self-management strategies independently. These results underscore the need for universities to provide time-management training and personal development support. This research contributes to shaping more flexible educational policies and support systems tailored to the needs of working students.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly influenced various sectors, including healthcare. Clinics, as frontline healthcare providers, are increasingly required to improve their service quality by adopting efficient and integrated information systems. One of the most vital components of healthcare information is medical records, which serve as the foundation for accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and continuity of care. However, many clinics still rely on traditional manual recording systems, leading to inefficiencies, frequent errors, and difficulties in retrieving patient data in a timely manner. This study aims to design, develop, and implement a web-based medical record information system at Klinik dr. Yosefa Lili Londa to address these challenges. The development process uses the Waterfall model, which consists of several stages: analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system is designed to manage key data components including patient information, registration, medical complaints, diagnosis, and reporting. The results of system testing indicate a significant improvement in data accuracy, reduction in recording errors, faster access to patient records, and more efficient clinical workflows. Based on these findings, the implementation of a web-based medical record system proves to be effective in supporting integrated, efficient, and high-quality healthcare services at the clinic level.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation has fundamentally altered contemporary business operational paradigms and generated crucial issues regarding the security of customers' personal information. This study explores the implementation of ethical principles in the business world, particularly concerning the protection of consumer personal information within the digital economy context, employing a systematic literature review methodology. Information gathering was conducted through comprehensive examination of scholarly publications discussing business morality, information confidentiality in the digital realm, and personal data security by applying qualitative research methodology. The findings reveal that customer personal information has transformed into a strategic commodity with high economic value within the digital business ecosystem, while simultaneously triggering substantial security threats such as information security breaches, identity theft, and irresponsible data exploitation. Although Indonesian regulations have been established through Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, their implementation continues to face numerous obstacles including jurisdictional limitations over international business entities, minimal digital literacy among the public, and the complexity of artificial intelligence technology that presents contemporary privacy threats. This research concludes that business morality in personal data protection is not merely a juridical obligation, but also a fundamental investment strategy for building consumer credibility and sustainable business continuity in the long term. The practical implications of this research underscore the urgency of cross-stakeholder collaboration in realizing a credible and secure digital ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the factors influencing user acceptance of the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) application by applying the UTAUT3 framework with the addition of the Trust variable. Based on interview findings and user review analysis, PDS adoption remains relatively low due to initial access difficulties, inconsistent navigation, and concerns regarding data security. The research employed a quantitative approach with 100 active PDS users as respondents. The collected data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results indicate that Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Personal Innovativeness significantly affect Behavioral Intention, while Habit has a significant effect on Use Behavior. In contrast, Performance Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, Price Value, Trust, and Behavioral Intention do not significantly influence Use Behavior. The model demonstrates moderate explanatory power (R² = 0.555 for BI and 0.274 for UB). These findings suggest that, in collateral-based financial services such as PDS, behavioral intention alone is insufficient to drive actual usage without adequate supporting conditions. The practical implications highlight the importance of improving user experience, strengthening socially driven campaigns, and fostering user habits through digital incentives to enhance PDS adoption.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economic development, particularly in job creation, income distribution, and tax revenue contribution. To support MSMEs and encourage formal tax participation, the government issued Government Regulation (PP) No. 23 of 2018, which reduced the Final Income Tax (PPh Final) rate from 1% to 0.5% of gross turnover. This policy aims to increase tax compliance, reduce administrative burdens, and expand the national tax base. This study analyzes the impact of the implementation of the Final Income Tax policy on MSME taxpayer compliance, focusing on reporting and payment behavior. The findings indicate that the tax rate reduction positively influences compliance levels among MSME taxpayers. However, several challenges persist, including limited understanding of tax procedures, lack of socialization, and low digital literacy related to tax systems. Therefore, beyond lowering tax rates, continuous education, mentoring, and the enhancement of digital-based tax services are necessary to strengthen voluntary compliance. This policy is considered a strategic initiative in improving Indonesia’s tax system and supporting sustainable economic growth driven by the MSME sector.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices on firm value, with operating margin serving as a moderating variable. The study focuses on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2023, a sector characterized by high environmental and social impact as well as substantial capital intensity. CSR disclosure is measured using sustainability-based disclosure indices that reflect companies’ commitment to social, environmental, and economic responsibilities. Meanwhile, GCG is evaluated through governance indicators that represent transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness. Firm value is proxied using market-based measurements, particularly the Price-to-Book Value (PBV), while operating margin is incorporated to capture operational efficiency and profitability. The empirical results demonstrate that CSR disclosure and GCG practices have a significant positive effect on firm value, indicating that stakeholders respond favorably to companies that implement sustainable practices and strong governance structures. Furthermore, operating margin is found to strengthen the relationship between CSR, GCG, and firm value, suggesting that firms with higher operational profitability are better able to translate sustainability initiatives and governance quality into enhanced market valuation. These findings underscore the importance of integrating sustainability disclosure, effective corporate governance, and operational efficiency as strategic instruments to improve firm value in the mining industry.
