Historiography means the writing of history based on the critical examination of sources, the selection of particular details from the authentic materials in those sources, and the synthesis of those details into a narrative that stands the test of critical examination. Historiography studies cover chronologically various themes, such as local history, social history, cultural history, economic history, political history, military history, intellectual history, environmental history, and other historical studies. History of education is a study of the past that focuses on educational issues. These include education systems, institutions, theories, themes and other related phenomena in the past. History education includes studies of how history teaches in school or society, curriculum, educational values in events, figures, and historical heritage, media and sources of historical learning, history teachers, and studies of textbooks.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Development of the Socio-Economic Development of the City of Lubuklinggau in 2001-2016 (Contribution of Material in Historical Subjects in Lubuklinggau 1 Public High School)". The problems in this study are how the social development of Lubuklinggau City in 2001-2016 and how the economic development of Lubuklinggau City in 2001-2016. The purpose of this study was to determine the social development of Lubuklinggau City in 2001-2016 and to find out the economic development of Lubuklinggau City in 2001-2016. This study uses historical methods with steps: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. From the results of the study it was found that Lubuklinggau City became a municipality in 2001 after previously being the administrative city of Musi Rawas Regency. In the social field, the authors studied cover the fields of education, religion, health, poverty, security, and the economy. The increase occurred in the fields of education, religion, health and security and the decline occurred in the Ministry of Education. While in the economic field, there was an increase in both gross regional income (GRDP) and per capita income in Lubuklinggau City.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Development of the Marga Government in Ujan Mas District of Muara Enim Regency in 1983-2014". This study uses historical methods, using heuristic steps, criticism of sources, interpretations, and historiography carried out through the search of literature and interview research methods. This research discusses changes in the clan government system that turned into a system of village governance, this change along with the issuance of Law No. 5 of 1979 concerning regional government. So with the Act, South Sumatra issued a Guberner Decree Number 142 /KPTS / III / 1983 which stated that the clan government was abolished in South Sumatra. Changing the clan government system to village government also changed the structure of the clan government which was the lowest organization into a hamlet that was part of the previous clan and became the lowest governmental organization not the clan. This change also occurred in the structure of local government administration in the district Ujan Mas.

Abstract

The research entitled “The Influence of Quipper School Learning Media for Studying Results at the Student’s Class XI in Historical Subjects at Islamic State Senior High School No 2 Model Palembang”. The formulation of the problem in this study, is the influence of the application of Quipper School learning media for studying results at the student’s class XI in Historical subjects at the Islamic State Senior High School No 2 Model Palembang. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of Quipper School learning media for studying results at the student’s class XI in Historical subject at the Islamic State Senior High School No 2 Model Palembang. This type of research is quasi experiment. The population in this study were all students of class XI at Islamic State Senior High School No 2 Model Palembang. The sampling technique uses random sampling, so the class XI MIA 3 is selected as the experimental class with 45 students. The statistical test used in this study is regression test. Known Fhitung 42,61 while Ftabel 4,07. Because Fhitung > Ftabel, then reject Ho and accept Ha, meaning that applying Quipper School learning media has an effect for the studying results of at the students class XI in Historical subjects at the Islamic State Senior High School No 2 Model Palembang.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Development of Learning Media Using Windows Movie Maker in the Subject of Class XI High School History". The problem is how to develop a valid historical learning media and effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and effective historical learning media in North Indralaya 2 High School. This research is a type of development research that uses the Alessi and Trollip development models including: planning, design, and development. The validity of the media is included in the valid category with a mean score of 3.87, the validity of the material is included in the valid category with an average value of 3.92, the validity of the learning design is included in the very valid category with an average value of 4.6. The potential impact of learning media using Windows Movie Maker can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes before and after using learning media. The mean value of the pretest obtained was 42.33 which was included in the low category while the posttest value obtained was 83.33. This shows that the learning media uses Windows movie maker with material on the events of the September 30 movement / Indonesian Communist Party that has valid values and effectiveness.

Abstract

This study is entitled "The Effect of Media Video Application on Student Learning Outcomes in Historical Subjects at 1 Banyuasin 1 High School." The type of research used in this study is experimental research. The formulation of the problem under study is influential or not the use of video media on the learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of video learning media on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted on April 9 to May 14, 2018 for four meetings. This study uses two classes, namely class XI IPS 1 as an experimental class and class XI IPS 3 as a control class. The population in this study were class XI students at 1 Banyuasin Public High School 1. Determination of the study sample using Random Sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. The variables of this study are video media (independent variables) and learning outcomes (dependent variables). The statistics used to prove the analysis hypothesis are the T test with a real level of 0.05. Based on the results of the study it is proven that there is an influence of video learning media on student learning outcomes in historical subjects in class XI of the 1 Banyuasin State Senior High School 1. This is evidenced by tcount> t table or 3.71> 1.671.
