Low public awareness of earlyvdetection is the basis for implementing this community service activity in RT 27, Wonocatur Hamlet. The activity aimed to increase residents' knowledge and awareness of hypertension prevention through health education. The methods used were interactive counseling with posters, as well as evaluation using pre-tests and post-tests consisting of 15 questions for 40 participants. The material covered the definition of hypertension, risk factors, and prevention efforts through a healthy lifestyle and regular blood pressure checks. Abstract

According to data from the community health center, two of the top three diseases in Prambanan District are non-communicable diseases (NCDs): hypertension (32.63%), the common cold (25.61%), and diabetes mellitus (DM) (19.03%). Based on the principles of community-based health efforts, the community must be able to perform anthropometric measurements to enable early detection of NCD risk. This community service activity aimed to provide anthropometric measurement training to integrated health sevices for NCD (Posbindu PTM) cadres in Daleman Hamlet, Sumberharjo, Prambanan, Sleman. The training, attended by 13 cadres, covered the theory and practice of anthropometric measurements related to NCDs, including weight, height, mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), waist circumference, and hip circumference. Improvements in knowledge and skills were observed after the training, as evidenced by the correct use of measurement procedures. The training is expected to increase the cadres' confidence in providing anthropometric measurements to the community.

Abstract

Adolescents are at risk of experiencing reproductive health problems such as sexual violence and sexually transmitted infections. Good reproductive health literacy can influence adolescents to engage in behaviors that maintain reproductive health. Based on a situational analysis at SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, it was found that no reproductive health education had been conducted previously. This school also has no extracurricular activities related to reproductive health. Interviews with students at Batik 1 High School found that the majority of students only seek information about reproductive health when they experience problems and immediately trust the information they find on the internet. The goal of this community service program is to increase knowledge about sexual violence and sexually transmitted infections and to improve the reproductive health literacy of students at Batik 1 Vocational School in Surakarta. The community service method involved providing education through audiovisual media and demonstrations to 33 10th-grade students at Batik 1 High School in Surakarta. The results of the activity show that students have increased their knowledge about the prevention of sexual violence and STIs after receiving education. Students now also understand that not all information on the internet about reproductive health is accurate and have learned how to verify its accuracy. Students are also motivated to seek reproductive health information from reliable sources regularly. It is hoped that students who have received this education can act as peer educators and share the information they have received with their friends and family
