Abstract

This study analyzes the role of digital marketing management in enhancing higher education branding through social media. The focus is to explore best practices, challenges, and opportunities faced by higher education institutions in the digital era. Social media has proven to be a strategic tool to reach a wider audience, build institutional image, and increase interaction with prospective students. However, challenges such as limited human resource competency and competition between higher education institutions remain significant barriers. This study recommends an innovative approach in digital marketing strategy to support the transformation of higher education in Indonesia. With an integrated and adaptive approach, higher education institutions can maintain relevance, increase brand awareness, and build long-term relationships with audiences.

Abstract

Mathematics learning at the elementary level often presents difficulties, especially when introducing abstract concepts such as units of length. To overcome these challenges, engaging and concrete instructional media are required to support students’ understanding. This study aimed to develop Smart Ladder learning media for length units by applying the ADDIE development model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research involved media experts, material experts, instructional experts, teachers, and students as respondents. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and pre- and post-test evaluations. Validation results showed scores of 78.12 (good) from media experts, 88.75 (very good) from material experts, and 78.94 (good) from instructional experts. Teacher responses reached 97.36 (very good), while student trials averaged 83.99 (very good), improving from 78.07 in the first trial to 89.92 in the second. Student achievement also increased from an average pre-test score of 54.58 to a post-test score of 84.58. These findings confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of Smart Ladder media, highlighting its novelty in transforming abstract mathematics into tangible, interactive experiences. The study contributes to the field of educational media development, suggesting that similar models can be adapted for other mathematical concepts to enhance meaningful learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of digital applications in Tahfidzul Qur’an learning to examine both opportunities and challenges in their implementation. The main objective is to understand how technology affects the effectiveness of memorization, as well as the factors that support or hinder its use. A qualitative field research design was employed, involving observations of memorization practices, interviews with teachers, students, and administrators, and documentation of teaching materials. Findings reveal several challenges: limited technical skills among teachers, insufficient technological infrastructure, resistance to adopting digital tools, and a lack of curriculum-aligned digital resources. Despite these barriers, digital applications show strong potential to enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and retention in Qur’an memorization. The novelty of this research lies in its systematic analysis of how traditional memorization methods can be adapted within a digital framework, highlighting both pedagogical and managerial dimensions. The study recommends targeted teacher training, infrastructure development, and collaboration with educational technology developers to design suitable digital resources. These efforts are expected to strengthen the quality of Islamic education and ensure its relevance in the digital era.

Abstract

Creative thinking is an essential skill in 21st-century learning, yet many students still face difficulties in developing fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality. This study aims to develop a game-based learning medium called LUPAS (Ludo IPAS) to address these challenges in the topic of continents and countries. The research employed the ADDIE model, covering the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection through interviews and observations identified students’ learning needs, which became the basis for designing the LUPAS media. Expert validation showed high feasibility, with scores of 93.3% from material experts and 90.6% from media experts, both categorized as “very valid.” Implementation used a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design with sixth-grade students. The N-Gain test revealed an average score of 0.6161 (medium category) and an N-Gain percentage of 62%, indicating moderate effectiveness in enhancing creative thinking skills. The study contributes to game-based learning innovation by demonstrating that LUPAS is both feasible and effective in fostering higher-order thinking.

Abstract

This study explores TikTok creators’ strategies for delivering Islamic character education to Generation Z. Using a qualitative descriptive–exploratory approach, data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed by interactive model using  NVivo 12 software. The findings reveal three major strategies: first, the careful selection of Islamic content themes, emphasizing values such as honesty, respect, and responsibility contextualized through humor and storytelling; second, the interactive use of TikTok features, including live streaming, duets, and comment engagement, which foster participatory learning; and third, negotiation with algorithmic challenges, requiring creators to adapt Islamic messages within entertaining formats to ensure visibility. The study concludes that TikTok can serve as an effective medium for Islamic education when creators adaptively balance educational depth with cultural and technological dynamics. This research contributes theoretically to digital Islamic pedagogy and practically to educators, policymakers, and da’wah practitioners seeking to engage Generation Z effectively.
