Abstract

This agricultural experiment was conducted in the Department of Life Sciences' plant house at the University of Diyala's College of Education for Pure Sciences. In order to investigate the effects of spraying methyl jasmonate at five different concentrations—0, 25, 50, 75, 100 mg. Plastic pots that could hold 7 kg of mixed soil were used in this experiment to produce bean plants. Three replications and a completely randomized design were used in the experiment's design. At a 0.05 level of probability, the means were compared. Two seeds were put in each pot after the soil had been prepared and cleaned of impurities. The germination rate was 100% at the beginning of the experiment, but seven days later it dropped to one plant. Two sprays of varying concentrations of jasmonate were applied to the plants; the first was one month after germination, and the second was one month following the first. Since the concentration of methyl jasmonate exceeded 25 mg L-1 in every characteristic examined, the results demonstrated that there were distinct variations between the various quantities of the molecule. Plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of branches, number of pods, weight of pods, and number of seeds in pods are some of these attributes. 60.40 cm, 7.73 cm, 27.33 sheets were attained. Branch 3.02 of Plant 1. 2.33 pods per plant. Plant-1, 6.33 seeds, 11.01 g. Pod-1, in turn. On the other hand, 75 mg was the stated concentration. In comparison to the control treatment, L-1 exhibits lower averages for the majority of the attributes. Highlights: Experiment tested methyl jasmonate effects on Spanish bean plants' growth. Five concentrations: 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 mg L⁻¹ evaluated. Results showed optimal growth at 25 mg L⁻¹, decline at 75 mg. Keywords - Beans plant; Methyl Jasmonate; Field crops; Vicia faba

Abstract

Since the gain of independence in 1991, Uzbekistan has worked through diverse economic transformations with a transition from a central economy to a Market economy. These have sought to develop entrepreneurship and encourage FDI inflows, at the same time business is still shaped by history, culture and institutions. For this investigation, the affect of the cultural dimensions including collectivism, power distance, and long term orientation towards the adoption of modern management practices, green innovation and digitization in Uzbekistan is examined. Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions Theory, Theory of Planned Behavior, and the Technology-Organization-Environment are used to analyze these influences in the present research. The study shows that collectivism positively influences the implementation of the modern management practices while high power distance negatively influence it. Long-term orientation to a very large extent influences green innovation and appropriate attitude toward technology is essential for digitalization. Subjective norms which are highly endorsed scale and perceived behavioral control further enhance green innovation and digitization respectively. Furthermore, other adoption conditions such as the technological and environmental support for the adoptions are important while size and centralization of organizations present adoption challenges. Thus, this work enriches the scientific literature by revealing the dependencies of business activities in a transitional economy with respect to cultural values. The conclusions for business and authorities stress the importance of cultural contingency approach to improve organization performance and improvement in Uzbekistan. The future research should incorporate longitudinal studies and pay attention to such other cultural dimensions and characteristics of organizations. Highlights: Uzbekistan transitions from central to market economy, shaping business by culture. Collectivism aids modern management; power distance hinders; long-term orientation boosts innovation. Cultural values, technology, and environment critical for green innovation, digitization success. Keywords: Cultural dimensions, Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions Theory, Theory of Planned Behavior, Technology-Organization-Environment framework, sustainability

Abstract

This article examines second language learning ability by analyzing second language development. It also examines the age factor in learning a language other than the mother tongue and attempts to clarify whether there is currently sufficient evidence to show that young people undergo real changes in their language skills.. Research such as inspiration for the learning climate, as well as exposure and behavior in the language will also be addressed and data analyzed to assess if they play an essential role in encouraging students to achieve effective second language skills. It was widely known to create a big improvement in language learning when you are young to study a second language. However, the findings show that this is not completely applicable in all situations, provided that other considerations such as language sensitivity and enthusiasm influence the effective accomplishment of second-language learning. If vocabulary is lacking, therefore this could discourage students from studying the language effectively. However, it is worth noting that factors such as motivation and exposure play a more important role in the learning stage than the aging factor. This empowers the learner because, regardless of his age, it is extremely important for him to be motivated enough and have enough language exposure from the beginning. Highlights: Analyzes second language development and age factor in language learning. Highlights motivation, exposure, and behavior's impact on effective language skills. Motivation and exposure outweigh age in successful second-language acquisition.
