Abstract

This study explores the mathematical analysis of external factors affecting the operating modes of pump installations in industrial processes. External influences, such as fluctuations in fluid properties, hydraulic resistance, cavitation risks, and environmental conditions, were systematically investigated using a combination of mathematical modeling and experimental validation. The developed model accurately predicts the impact of these factors on pump performance metrics, including flow rate, pressure head, power consumption, and efficiency. Results demonstrate that a 10°C increase in fluid temperature leads to a 4% efficiency reduction due to viscosity changes, while optimizing pipe diameter reduces hydraulic resistance by 15%. The study further highlights the critical role of maintaining adequate Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) to prevent cavitation, as efficiency drops by 12% when NPSHavailable is below NPSHrequired. The validated model provides actionable insights for optimizing pump operations, reducing energy consumption by up to 20%, and enhancing reliability in industrial settings. These findings contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient pumping systems. Highlights: Mathematical Analysis of External Factors on Pump Operations Impact on Performance, Efficiency, and Energy Consumption Optimizing Pump Systems for Sustainability and Reliability Keywords - Pump installations, mathematical modeling, external factors, hydraulic resistance, cavitation, Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH), energy efficiency, industrial processes, fluid dynamics, variable frequency drives (VFDs)

Abstract

The article examines the main properties of foaming agents UFAPORE GP XP 75%, OMAX KS100 and FREM FOAM such as - high expansion and durability, sufficient foam durability in solution, durability of the mixture over time. The results of the analysis of the stability, expansion rate and mechanical strength of the foam made it possible to determine the optimal concentrations of the FREM FOAM foaming agent, at which the foam demonstrates the best technological characteristics. To assess the effect of binders and fillers on the foam volume, the foam utilization factor (FUF) was calculated, which is the ratio of the volume of the foam-cement mixture to the initial volume of foam. It is believed that high-quality foam should have a FUF in the range of 0.8–0.85. Initial experiments showed that at surfactant concentrations of up to 0.5%, the foam mass is insufficient to obtain foam-cement masses with constant properties. At the same time, at concentrations over 2.5%, there is excessive consumption of foaming agent, which leads to a violation of the homogeneity of the foam structure. As a result, the optimal range of foaming agent concentrations from 0.5 to 2.5% was selected. Highlights: Examines properties of foaming agents: expansion, durability, and stability. Determines optimal FREM FOAM concentrations for best foam characteristics. Identifies optimal foam utilization factor range (0.8–0.85) for quality foam. Keywords - foaming agent, non-autoclave, foam, porous , foam mass , foaming agent multiplicity.

Abstract

There has been a persistent shadow economy in the development of Uzbekistan, existing from an economic transition context along with tax evasion, informal employment, and illicit activities. However, government reforms have not reduced the size of informal sector which stands at about 27.2% of GDP, with the maximum being 52%. Addressing a knowledge gap, this study uses a mixed methods approach of statistical analysis and policy evaluation to analyse the drivers and the implications of the shadow economy. They found that high tax burdens, regulatory barriers, and attitudes among the general public concerning governance promoting informal practices. The results indicate that while recent efforts at curbing corruption and making the economy more open, are assisting in 'shedding' the shadow economy, there are still important yet residual obstacles in formalizing the labor market and achieving equitable economic development. Through these insights it is clear that legislative reforms, digitalization, and international coopeartion is needed to ensure that targeting, long term strategies are used to promote transparency and sustainable growth in Uzbekistan. Highlights: Uzbekistan's shadow economy persists due to high taxes, regulation, and informal practices. Recent reforms aid transparency, but obstacles remain in labor market formalization. Legislative reforms, digitalization, and international cooperation needed for sustainable growth. Key words: shadow economy, Uzbekistan, informal employment, tax evasion, economic reforms, governance, anti-corruption, economic development, regulatory barriers, digitalization.
