Abstract

The current study aimed to evaluate the effect of infection with Toxoplasmosis gondii in the serum and milk of sheep and cows on some enzymes and biochemical parameters. 200 samples from sheep and 125 samples from cows that suffered from miscarriages at different stages of pregnancy and were suspected of being infected with toxoplasmosis were collected from different areas of Salah Governorate. Using the latex agglutination test, it was found that the percentage of infection with toxoplasmosis in sheep is 47.5% and 33.6% in cows. According to the statistical results of biochemical tests, sheep and cows exposed to Toxoplasma showed an increase in glutathione peroxidase levels (GSH-PX) in their serums, whereas infection did not significantly affect the activity of creatine phosphokinase in sheep or cows, as did creatine phosphokinase. As a result of this infection, zinc levels in sheep and cows' serum were significantly decreased, which resulted in a significant increase in copper and phosphorus levels. Toxoplasma infection resulted in a decrease in milk parameters including protein and fat, as well as lactose in cow's milk, while it did not significantly change in sheep's milk compared to the control group. Highlights: Effect of Toxoplasma gondii on serum and milk biochemical parameters in livestock. Infection impact: Increased GSH-PX, decreased zinc, increased copper and phosphorus levels. Milk quality decline: Reduced protein, fat, and lactose in cows; minimal change in sheep. Keywords: toxoplasmosis, toxoplasmosis in sheep,Oxidation enzymes.

Abstract

One of the most frequent surgical operations on children in Australasia is tonsillectomy. For a non-surgical audience, this study attempts to give a current evaluation of the procedure's indications (and the evidence basis for each of these indications), together with a discussion of the surgical technique, perioperative care, and risks. Recurrent pharyngotonsillitis and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) are the main causes of tonsillectomy; tonsillectomy is typically done in combination with adenoidectomy for both conditions. Tonsillectomy has been shown to enhance quality of life, child behavior, and objective measurements of OSA in sleep studies. It is less clear how surgery affects cognitive function. Highlights: Common pediatric surgery: Tonsillectomy for recurrent pharyngotonsillitis & obstructive sleep apnea. Benefits: Improves quality of life, behavior, and OSA measurements. Uncertainty: Cognitive effects of surgery remain unclear. Keywords: Tonsillectomy, Children, Review

Abstract

The research focuses on evaluating investment performance within Surkhandarya's regional industry sector along with its factors which promote industrial enterprise development and sustainability. The study establishes an essential position for investment efforts because they drive economic stability alongside employment growth and technological development. Research shows a considerable lack of information about how efficient investments impact enterprise numbers in regional economic settings. The research implements correlation and regression analysis through econometric modeling with statistical data spanning from 2010 until 2023. The research shows clear positive relations between investment amounts and the growth of industrial enterprises because every 1% investment growth results in 0.63% industrial enterprise expansion. A 1% increase in the labor force leads to additional 0.42% participation in the workforce according to study findings. The research findings demonstrate how investments focused on underdeveloped areas especially agriculture sector development projects lead to improved regional economic diversification. The research demonstrates that investment optimization through strategic distribution improves industrial development and requires data-based decision-making. Data-driven policy-making together with improved infrastructure and innovation-based funding and balanced sectoral funding must be used to enhance regional development and economic policies and investment management. The field requires more research into specific industrial investment effects together with improved econometrics to better capture external economic influences for complete understanding about regional industrial development investments.
