Abstract

General Background Postmodern artistic movements introduced structural transformations in visual presentation and epistemological mechanisms. Specific Background Two distinct trends emerged: hyperrealism utilizing photographic simulation to reconstruct reality, and conceptualism prioritizing abstract ideas over material forms. Knowledge Gap Although dominating postmodern visual culture, their underlying tensions and pedagogical values remain insufficiently integrated within traditional, technique-driven instruction. Aims This study investigates the epistemological dimensions of the opposition between extreme materiality and philosophical abstraction, examining their reflections on modern art education. Results Utilizing a descriptive-analytical methodology on works by prominent artists, the analysis reveals that synthesizing visual realism with conceptual abstraction stimulates critical thought, perceptual literacy, and reflective interpretation. Novelty This research uniquely frames the dialectic between meticulously detailed reproduction and dematerialized intellectual concepts as a complementary epistemic foundation for producing meaning. Implications Pedagogical practices must transition beyond mechanical imitation to incorporate inquiry-based learning and digital media, cultivating learners capable of critically engaging with ongoing socio-technological shifts. Highlights: Analytical examination reveals extreme visual accuracy and philosophical abstraction function as complementary epistemic tools. Abstract

General Background Network data traffic rating represents a core task in modern network engineering for service quality control and bandwidth management. Specific Background Traditional approaches relying on deep packet inspection and port-based categorization face severe limitations due to the proliferation of dynamic ports and widespread encryption protocols such as TLS and HTTPS. Knowledge Gap Although automated algorithms offer alternative solutions, comprehensive applications detailing complete processing pipelines that systematically compare multiple predictive models without inspecting actual packet contents remain scarce. Aims This study designs an integrated flow-based data processing pipeline to extract nine statistical properties for categorizing six data movement classes using four distinct automated algorithms. Results Utilizing a simulated dataset of 3000 flows, experimental outcomes revealed that the aggregate tree model attained the highest precision of 97.87 percent and a macro F1-score of 97.87 percent, significantly outperforming Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine, and KNN models. Novelty This research demonstrates the explicit superiority of ensemble techniques in data categorization by identifying byte rate, mean packet length, and total bytes as the most decisive flow-level metrics, entirely independent of payload decryption. Implications Relying on extracted statistical properties presents a highly reliable methodology for managing modern encrypted infrastructures, suggesting that administrators should prioritize aggregate machine learning systems to optimize resource allocation and detect unwanted activities. Highlights: Aggregate tree models attained a 97.87 percent precision rate across six data movement categories. Payload decryption is unnecessary when utilizing statistical properties such as byte rates and packet lengths. Machine learning pipelines successfully categorized video streaming, web browsing, and voice communications without port dependency. Abstract

Financial institutions face critical vulnerabilities from increasingly sophisticated financial crimes. Banking sectors globally encounter severe operational risks when detecting complex illicit fund flows through traditional surveillance frameworks. Prior research insufficiently addresses how internal technical infrastructure directly mitigates automated financial misconduct within private institutions. General Background Money laundering threatens global financial stability through increasingly complex digital networks. Specific Background Commercial banks act as primary lines of defense but face challenges due to weak supervisory technology and operational pressures. Knowledge Gap Empirical evidence evaluating how technical control systems directly influence anti-money laundering efficacy within private banking remains limited. Aims This study evaluates the statistical impact of internal technical oversight on money laundering prevention at the National Bank of Iraq. Results Regression analysis demonstrates that technical control systems exert a significant positive effect ($R^2 = 0.582, p < 0.001$) on combating illicit financial activities. Novelty The research establishes quantitative empirical metrics validating automated detection technology within Middle Eastern private banking operations. Implications Strengthening smart digital surveillance and specialized technical competencies is vital for institutional compliance and financial integrity. Abstract

General Background: Insecticide resistance among malaria vectors poses a critical threat to global disease control strategies. Specific Background: Pyriproxyfen, a juvenile hormone analogue, interrupts insect growth and reproduction through sublethal contact. Knowledge Gap: The combined effects of pyriproxyfen-treated netting on adult fecundity, egg hatchability, and oviposition choice in Anopheles stephensi remain insufficiently characterized. Aims: This study evaluated reproductive performance and behavioral deterrence in adult females following exposure to pyriproxyfen-treated netting. Results: Exposure to 0.02 ppm pyriproxyfen reduced egg production by 80.7% and hatchability to 18.5%, while choice assays demonstrated 98.5% effective repellency. Novelty: The findings demonstrate a synergistic dual mechanism combining severe physiological sterilization with near-complete behavioral oviposition deterrence. Implications: Incorporating pyriproxyfen into long-lasting insecticidal nets provides an effective strategy to suppress resistant vector populations. Abstract

General Background: Village financial management requires transparent, accountable, effective, and efficient governance because it involves public resources and financial accountability. Specific Background: Village government financial performance is associated with leadership, administrative capacity, public transparency, organizational culture, religiosity, inspection, delegation of authority, and internal control. Knowledge Gap: Previous empirical studies in Beji District report inconsistent findings regarding direct relationships among communication, leadership, education, and financial performance, indicating the need for an integrative synthesis. Aims: This study aims to synthesize three empirical studies on village financial performance, classify their determinants, compare significant and nonsignificant findings, interpret the results through Agency Theory, and develop an integrative conceptual model. Results: Using an Integrative Review, the study identifies three complementary mechanisms. Enabling mechanism comprises communication patterns and leadership style, with education level functioning as a moderator. Governance mechanism comprises public transparency, organizational culture, and official religiosity, all of which show significant relationships with financial performance. Control mechanism comprises inspection, delegation of authority, and internal control, which also show significant relationships. Communication patterns and education level do not show direct significant relationships, while education strengthens the communication–performance relationship and weakens the leadership–performance relationship. Novelty: The study integrates these determinants into enabling, governance, and control mechanisms within an Agency Theory framework. Implications: The model provides a conceptual basis for reducing information asymmetry, conflicts of interest, and opportunistic behavior in village financial management. Highlights: Leadership style shows a significant direct relationship with financial outcomes, while communication patterns do not. Education level operates as a moderator, strengthening one relationship and weakening another. Transparency, organizational culture, religiosity, inspection, delegation of authority, and internal control show significant relationships with the outcome. Abstract

General Background: Online gambling has developed into a social issue affecting family stability and creating new challenges for legal institutions. Specific Background: In divorce cases at the Religious Court of Surabaya, judges face challenges when addressing online gambling because existing legal provisions do not explicitly regulate it as a divorce ground. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have mainly examined the social and causal relationship between online gambling and divorce, while the construction of judicial reasoning used by judges has received limited attention. Aims: This study aims to examine how judges construct legal reasoning when using online gambling as a basis for divorce in Decision Number 1800/Pdt.G/2026/PA.Sby. Results: Using a qualitative case study combined with socio-legal studies, data were collected through interviews with a senior judge of the Religious Court of Surabaya and analysis of court documents. The findings show that judges do not merely apply legal provisions formally but develop complex reasoning involving purposive interpretation, contextualization of digital social realities, and substantive justice considerations. Maqāṣid al-syarī’ah functions as one reasoning framework supporting judicial decisions beyond literal legal texts. Novelty: This study reveals the gap between written judgments and the actual judicial reasoning process in addressing digital-era family law issues. Implications: The research contributes to understanding judicial decision-making processes in religious courts when responding to emerging digital social phenomena. Highlights: Judges apply contextual interpretation beyond formal legal provisions in online gambling divorce cases. Judicial reasoning involves legal interpretation, digital social realities, and justice considerations. Maqāṣid al-syarī’ah is used as a reasoning framework in judicial decision construction.
