Abstract

Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, which is not solely free of disease or disability, in all matters relating to the reproductive system, as well as its functions and processes. The fact is still found many teenage girls who wear tight jeans and do not know that the use of tight jeans can affect the reproductive health of one occurrence of whiteness (Fluor Albus). The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of the knowledge level of young women about the use of tight jeans with Fluor Albus whiteness in High School Pembangunan Bukittinggi Year 2017. This research method using a descriptive correlation method with Cross-Sectional approach design, then data is processed by using the Chi-Square test. The population in this study were 118 respondents. The sample in this research is 55 respondents with Probability Sampling technique on 15 to 16 August 2017 in Bukittinggi Pembangunan High School. Univariate results obtained from 55 respondents there are more than half of 31 (56.4%) of respondents have high knowledge, more than half 29 (52,7%) of respondents did not occur whiteness. The result of statistical test obtained p-value = 0,000 (p <α) which means there is a relationship of knowledge with the incidence of whiteness (fluor albus) in High School Pembangunan Bukittinggi Year 2017. The conclusion of the relationship of knowledge with the incidence of leucorrhoea (fluor albus) in High School Pembangunan Bukittinggi Year 2017. It is expected that teenagers to pay more attention to reproductive health on female students. So as to prevent and detect early existence of reproduction organ problem.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a problem associated with menstruation, the short pain before or during menstruation. One of non-pharmacological treatment for dysmenorrhea is Abdominal Stretching Exercise. The abdominal stretching exercise which is the exercise for increasing the power of abdominal muscles, increase oxygenation, fix elasticity, or flexibility of body tissues, reduce muscle cramp, then increase amount and size vessels blood, with channeling blood to all body including reproductive organs so can to reduce dysmenorrhea. The aims of this research were to know the Effect of Abdominal Stretching Exercise on Decreasing the Level of Dysmenorrhea for the adolescent girl. This quasi-experimental research is implemented with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design in MAN 1 Bukittinggi the sample of this study were 14 adolescent who experienced dysmenorrhea, the sample in this research and taken in purposive sampling. Data were collected with the Faces Pain Rating Scale. Data were analyzed with Paired T-Test Sample. There is a difference between pain intensity before and after abdominal stretching exercises. There was an effect of Abdominal Stretching Exercise on Decreasing the Level of Dysmenorrhea for adolescents. Based on the result of the research above is expected for respondent after knowing abdominal stretching exercise could add insight and could to apply when the feel dysmenorrhea

Abstract

In Indonesia, 7 from 10 women experienced flour albous in 2004 One of the problems of reproductive health of teenagers especially the girl who often experience was pathological vaginal discharge. One of the nonpharmacological therapy was betel leaf stew. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of Giving Betel Leaves to Reducing White Pathology In Young girl In Boarding School Sumatra Thawalib Bukittinggi. This was a queasy experiment. The research with One Group Pre-Test-Post-Test Design. The population is female teenagers who experience pathological vaginal discharge at boarding School Sumatra Thawalib Parabek Bukittinggi. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling and the number of samples counted 14 people. Data collection was done by using the observation sheet and questioner. The result of a statistical test using paired T-test in the experimental group showed the comparison of pathological variance reduction before giving intervention in 4.71 and after giving betel left an average of 2.71, with p-value 0,0001. Based on the above results can be concluded that the decoction of betel leaf affects the reduction of pathological vaginal discharge in the experimental group. Suggestion to the respondent to be able to use the betel leaf stew in reducing pathological whiteness as nonfamakologis management because of the amount of content possessed by betel leaf Eugenol compound on betel leaf, proven to kill the fungus, tannin, is astringent, which reduces the secretion of fluid.

Abstract

The plantar fascia is a tissue that connects the heel to the toes which serve as a vibration damper, supporting the foot and helping a person to walk. Pain that occurs in that tissue that can be caused by several factors one of them is trauma. Trauma can occur because of the habit of using high heels. Pain usually starts from the heel and can cause inflammation called plantar fasciitis. Active stretching is one of the training methods that can be applied to reduce pain in the plantar fascia. This study was to investigate the effect of active stretching to reduce plantar fascia pain. The method used in this study was pre-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design, the number of samples was 10 people. The sampling method used total sampling in which the number of samples and the population is the same. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test result shows the value p = 0.003 or p <0.05 which means there is an effect of active stretching of plantar fascia pain reduction. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an active stretching effect on decreasing plantar fascia pain.

Abstract

The management function is a process to finish a job problem consisting of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. The room’s chief as a leader of the service in inpatient room to be responsible to plan, organizing, directing and controlling the nurses and all of the staffs to give care service with award system to reflect value system of individual and group. The aim of this study is to know the relation of management functions of room’s chief with the motivation of associate nurse at inpatient room in Islam Faisal Hospital Makassar. The type of this research was analytic observational with cross-sectional study approach model with 51 respondents sample. The result of this study indicate there is relation of room’s chief planning with motivation of nurse associate (value p = 0,001), there is no relation of organizing with motivation of nurse associate (p = 0,358), there is relation of directing with motivation of nurse associate (p  = 0,005), there is relation of controlling with motivation of nurse associate (p  = 0.0001)

Abstract

Response time is the time between the clients entering the room and request addressed. Response time for the patient is more and less 5 minutes. Long response time can result in a risk of death or severe injury. From the observation data obtained from health centers Kumanis Sijunjung average response time of 5-8 minutes. This study aims to examine the relationship between the characteristics of the nurse and their response time in handling an emergency case in the emergency unit of the health center Kumanis Sijunjung in 2016. This type of research was quantitative with a cross-sectional study. The population in this study was all of the nurses in the emergency unit of health center Kumanis Sijunjung. The Sampling technique was saturated sampling, who was 18 people. The instrument used was observation. The research result showed that there was no relationship  between the age of the nurses and their response time (p-value = 0.02), and there was no relationship between gender and their response time (p-value = 1.000),then, there was no relationship between the education of nurses and their response time (p-value = 0909 ), and there was a relationship between a long working relationship and their response time (p-value = 0.02). Suggestions for emergency unit nurses in order to improve professionalism in serving the availability of human resources and infrastructure affect the speed of services.

Abstract

The puerperium is a period of change that the body needs for physical recovery, changes that occur during the puerperium sometimes cause uncomfortable during the puerperium, especially during contraction and will result in abdomen pain. Loving Massage is proven to provide comfort, reduce anxiety, divert the pain experienced and Loving Massage can also produce hormones in the body that can provide comfort to the mother of postpartum. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of technique Loving Massage changes in pain this postpartum mather in BPM “R” and BPS “B” Bukittinggi. This type of research is experimental research with pre-experimental design and design that one group pre-test-post-test. The total sample of 14 people with a purposive sampling technique. the collection of data through observation and data collection tools used were sheets of observation NRS. From the results obtained by researchers that the average scale of pain before Loving Massage is 4.93 and average pain scale after Loving Massage is 2.50.  Test results T-Dependent is P value=0,0001 which means there is an influence technique Loving Massage to change pain in postpartum.

Abstract

UNODC in the World Drug Report states that in 2010 there were 230 million people or 5% of the world's population aged 10-64 misusing drugs. Cannabis is the most widely used substance that is between 119 million - 224 million, 13% of injecting drug users have contracted HIV (14.6%). The purpose of research to know the relationship of knowledge and attitude of an adolescent with the effort of prevention of drug abuse in SMPN 29 Padang. The study used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional study design carried out at SMPN 29 Padang on June 17, 2017. The student's population of SMPN 29 Padang from class VII and VIII were 570 people with a sample size of 84 people. Results 63.1% of respondents have a high knowledge, 51.2% of respondents have a positive attitude, 60.7% of respondents have good drug abuse prevention efforts. There is a relationship between adolescent knowledge with the effort of prevention of drug abuse (p-value = 0,000) and there is a correlation between adolescent attitude with the effort of preventing drug abuse in SMPN 29 Padang (p-value = 0,030).

Abstract

The implementation of Community-Based Total Sanitation starts from the first pillar of open defecation which is the entrance to total sanitation. ODF conditions are marked by 100% of the community having access to Defecate in their own latrine, there is no dirt in their environment, and they are able to maintain the cleanliness of the latrine (Health Minister Regulation No.3 of 2014). In the City of Bengkulu, from 19/67 triggering  Village / Sub-district, achievements of the new ODF village 7 villages / Sub-district. The research objective was to analyze the implementation of the first pillar Community Based Total Sanitation. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. The informants in this study amounted to 6 people consisting of the Head of the Community Health Center and sanitation officers. The results showed that in implementing the first pillar community-based total sanitation in Bengkulu City there was policy support from the government, namely the Republic of Indonesia Health Minister's Regulation No. 3 of 2014, there were still energy workers, funding sources for implementation came from Health Operational Assistance funds, availability of facilities and infrastructure in the form of brochures, leaflets, counseling, and FGD. The process was carried out starting from the pre-triggering phase by conducting technical preparations, observing Clean and Healthy Life Behavior, arranging triggering schedules and locations, triggering by holding meetings with the community, triggered by the outbreak of disease transmission, growing disgust, shame and fear of illness and post-triggering by looking at the village with ODF village status, building community commitment and mentoring and monitoring triggering activities. The output of the Village in the City of Bengkulu with the status of the SBS headman varies from 25%, 50%, and 100%. It is recommended to develop further analysis and results, in particular, to deepen the analysis of the implementation of the first pillar community-based total sanitation and the factors contributing to the success of ODF Villages.

Abstract

Chronic illness is not easy to deal with not only because of the nature of the disease or its treatment. The government, in this case, has sought to provide various health facilities to realize a healthy and efficient society, as stated in the National Health Insurance program and implemented in a program, namely the chronic disease management program (PROLANIS). The aim of the study was to determine the relationship of knowledge and family support with the level of adherence to the program of managing chronic diseases (prolanis) in the working area of Kampung Dalam Health Center in Padang Pariaman Regency in 2018. This study was a descriptive analytical study using the cross-sectional method. This research was conducted in the work area of Pariaman Health Center, Kota Pariaman from June 29 to July 20 in 2018. The study population was 40 people, consisting of 5 people with diabetes mellitus patients and 35 hypertensive patients. Total sampling technique The results of this study analysis show that 67.5% have low knowledge. 57.5% have low family support. 70% have non-compliance in participating in the Chronic Disease Management Program (PROLANIS). There is a significant relationship between knowledge and compliance following the Chronic Disease Management Program (PROLANIS), with p-value obtained at 0.008. There is a significant relationship between family support and adherence to participating in the Chronic Disease Management Program (PROLANIS), with p-value obtained at 0.018. It is expected that respondents pay more attention to food consumption, try to reduce the consumption of foods that taste salty and excessive fat, regular exercise schedules should be applied every day and more time to take part in the activities held in the Prolanis program.
