Abstract

Insurance agent is someone who is a marketer in insurance products and has met the criteria and has qualifications as a licensed insurance agent in the implementation of insurance sales duties in accordance with their duties as determined by the company. Prudential is an insurance company that is present to provide life insurance services, with this life insurance service it is hoped that the community can maintain a lifestyle that avoids various life risks. This study aims to determine the role of agents from Prudential Companies in improving insurance policies. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are library research and field observations, using document studies and interviews. The focus of this study is to analyze the effect of the agent's role in improving Prudential's insurance policy. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the results of the agent's role in improving insurance policies are quite important. Success in selling policies is very dependent on the performance of agents owned by an insurance company.

Abstract

The Bank of North Sumatra has undergone significant developments, but this must be balanced with regulations and good banking management. Non-performing financing is financing that often occurs due to factors that hinder the growth rate of operational activities. One of the external factors that causes problematic financing at this time is the Covid-19 pandemic. Non-performing financing at the SUMUT sharia bank will reduce or decrease the bank's income. Therefore, the Bank SUMUT Medan Katamso Branch uses a strategy in overcoming non-performing financing so that existing financing will continue to increase every year. The purpose of this study is to determine the procedures for handling problematic financing at Bank SUMUT Medan Katamso Branch and to find out what factors cause problematic financing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of agents in increasing insurance customers at PT Asuransi Askrida Syariah Medan Branch . Agents play an important role in offering products that exist in sharia insurance companies, where agents provide services in offering protection services for the financial needs of both individuals and groups, both health needs and those related to property. The methods in this study are the type of research, the nature of the research, the research approach, data collection, and data analysis. The results of this study are agents have a very important role in increasing sharia insurance customers, namely an agent plays a role in expanding the market, especially for people who have not used insurance services through direct socialization, agents also play a role in maintaining and improving the existing market by trying to always maintain communication with customers in order to provide the best service. In addition, agents also play a role in carrying out activities to the community by introducing financial planning and risk management in insurance and an agent also plays a role in selecting risks for prospective customers by identifying the possibility of risks faced by potential customers, evaluating, and measuring the magnitude of the risk. risks that may occur and determine the best method to deal with the identified risks.

Abstract

The sharia is a non bank financial institution that provides financing transactions and pawn services based on islamic is quran and hadist. The puposse of this study was to benefit and roles BPKB in motorized vechile pawn products in PT. Pegadaian CPS Rantau Prapat. The results of the study conclude that the mechanism of the vichel pawn prduct or called by trust product in PT. Pegadain CPS Rantau Prapat the costumers submints an aplication to the pawnshop by meeting then the pawnshop makes a sale and purchase to the dealer, the costumer submits proof of the owner of the motor vichle to the sharia pawnshop as collateral to carry out financing with trust products. In a trust transaction using a murabahah contract in buying and selling transaction and tasjili pawns so that the interest in the product is trustworthy, taken from down payment, maintenance cost, elaboration between practice in the field and a riview of Islamic Fatwa DSN-MUI.

Abstract

The effect of quality of service on customer satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero) Region Unit North Sumatra. The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the quality of service at PT. PLN (Persero) Region Unit North Sumatra. (2) Knowing the level of customer satisfaction PT. PLN (Persero) Region Unit North Sumatra. To achieve this, researchers used data collection techniques through interviews, documentation and observation. The data obtained from the research results were processed using qualitative descriptive analysis. PT. PLN (Persero) Region Unit North Sumatra provides services according to standard operating procedures, employees are also friendly and polite. Service satisfaction can be felt by customers because PT. PLN itself is quite responsive in terms of what customers ask for. Customer satisfaction is the main thing for PT. PLN (Persero) Region Unit North Sumatra The more satisfied customers are, the better the picture of PT. PLN in the eyes of customers.

Abstract

Service is one of the important factors that can be prioritized by the regional drinking water company (PDAM) TIRTANADI Tuasan branch to the entire community to obtain maximum satisfaction. Before or before the online application became a comparison by the community, which used to be difficult in registration and payment activities, now it can be accessed from home only via Android. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the effectiveness of the my tirtanadi application on payments made by the community. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative in the form of interviews and observations. The results of this study are the ineffectiveness of the my tirtanadi application in the convenience of the community, because the application often has errors and lacks complete menus or options to meet customer needs.

Abstract

The problem of clean water is one of the problems that often occurs in various regions in Indonesia. The problem of clean water that occurs is followed by a poor water sanitation system. One of the areas experiencing clean water problems is Stabat Lama Village, Kab. Langkat. To overcome these problems, the government has implemented the Community Water Supply and Sanitation Program (PAMSIMAS). The existence of the PAMSIMAS program is expected to help residents access clean water. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact that PAMSIMAS had on the village community of Stabat Lama and also what factors supported and hindered community participation in the PAMSIMAS Program. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The findings of this study indicate that the existence of PAMSIMAS has had an impact on lifestyle and social interaction in the community. In addition, there are several supporting factors in community participation including the establishment of cooperation between the community and local officials and the availability and ease of information to the community regarding the management of PAMSIMAS. The inhibiting factors for community participation are the limited information on the program that was launched due to the tight regulation of program arrangements, the lack of understanding between the community and the government in managing PAMSIMAS, and the PAMSIMAS program administration system which tends to be less involved with the community in program implementation

Abstract

As a financial bridging body, in carrying out its operations banks are grouped into two, namely conventional banks and Islamic banks, Islamic banks certainly need the function and role in Indonesia, therefore Islamic banks must improve the quality of their performance to realize a Syariah banking system that is able to perform efficiency with a healthy system. Increasing the number of customers and public awareness about the existence of Islamic banks as one of the important things in order to realize the country of Indonesia to be a pioneer of Islamic financial development in the world. The method used by the author is the method of literature review. With the method of literature review, the author conducts a review of the scientific literature on a topic of problems and conducts a critical analysis of some things that affect the interest of customers to make purchases of products marketed by Bank Sumut Syariah and awareness of them and interest in the products offered. Based on the results of literature riview conducted can be concluded that the interest of consumers to buy products offered by Bank Sumut Syariah influenced by several things, namely : (1) quality of Service and profit sharing (2) products offered and promotions carried out (3) trying to raise awareness of the brand and interest in Syariah products.

Abstract

In general, corporate culture is an opportunity to expand or train human resources with changes in atti-tudes and behaviors such as beliefs, values and norms that characterize the company followed by compa-ny members and are expected to be in harmony with the obstacles that arise and come. In the Sharia Business Unit of Bank Sumut there is a corporate culture whose best company values, vision, mission and motto of the company based on an Islamic perspective. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic , there are some values of companies whose implementation is less effective as usual, namely Energetic, Friendly, High Integrity and Safe. This research aims to identify the principles of corporate culture, cor-porate culture in an Islamic perspective and strategy to implement corporate culture during the Covid-19 pandemic in bank Sumut's Sharia Business Unit. In this study, the researchers used descriptive qualitative study techniques. The method of data collection is to use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the principles of corporate culture in the Sharia Business Unit of Bank Sumut are the company's first value that is short with BEST, vision, mission and company motto. Second, the corporate culture of Bank Sumut's Sharia Business Unit is based on an Islamic perspective. Third, to overcome problems in several company values that encountered obstacles during the Covid-19 period , the company carried out a project to implement the corporate culture of Bank Sumut's Sharia Business Unit during the Covid-19 period.

Abstract

Budgeting is planning arranged systematically in form of numeral and stated in unit of monetary which covering entire company activities for particular period in the future. In arrangement of budget for public sector should be determined the allocation of amount of fund in each program and government activity in monetary unit. In this case, role of DPRD to monitor local finance is very needed, so that the program which has arranged can run effectively, efficient and economical. In addition, monitoring conducted by DPRD should be direct and indirectly. As for the direct monitoring was observing, investigating, and inspection, while the indirect monitoring was to learn the report accepted from implementation. Be sides, in implementation of monitoring the DPRD has special committee referred to Budgeting Committee.
